¹ਯਿਸੂ ਮੰਦਰ ਤੋਂ ਬਾਹਰ ਨਿਕਲ ਕੇ ਜਾ ਰਿਹਾ ਸੀ ਕਿ ਉਸਦੇ ਚੇਲੇ ਉਸਨੂੰ ਮੰਦਰ ਦੀਆਂ ਇਮਾਰਤਾਂ ਤੇ ਮੰਦਰ ਵਿਖਾਉਣ ਲਈ ਆਏ।

¹ Jesus went out from the temple, and was going on his way. His disciples came to him to show him the buildings of the temple.

²ਯਿਸੂ ਨੇ ਚੇਲਿਆਂ ਨੂੰ ਆਖਿਆ, “ਤੁਸੀਂ ਵੇਖਣਾ, ਮੈਂ ਤੁਹਾਨੂੰ ਸੱਚ ਆਖਦਾ ਹਾਂ ਕਿ ਇਸ ਸਥਾਨ ਦੀ ਹਰ ਇਮਾਰਤ ਨਸ਼ਟ ਹੋ ਜਾਵੇਗੀ, ਇਸ ਜਗ੍ਹਾ ਦਾ ਹਰ ਪੱਥਰ ਧਰਤੀ ਉੱਪਰ ਡਿੱਗੇਗਾ।”

² But he answered them, “You see all of these things, don’t you? Most certainly I tell you, there will not be left here one stone on another, that will not be thrown down.”

³ਬਾਦ ਵਿੱਚ, ਜਦੋਂ ਯਿਸੂ ਜੈਤੂਨ ਦੇ ਪਹਾਡ਼ ਤੇ ਬੈਠਾ ਹੋਇਆ ਸੀ, ਉਸਦੇ ਚੇਲੇ ਇਕਾਂਤ ਵਿੱਚ ਉਸ ਕੋਲ ਆਏ ਅਤੇ ਪੁੱਛਿਆ, “ਸਾਨੂੰ ਦੱਸੋ, ਇਹ ਗੱਲਾਂ ਕਦੋਂ ਵਾਪਰਨਗੀਆਂ ਅਤੇ ਤੁਹਾਡੇ ਆਉਣ ਦਾ ਅਤੇ ਜੁਗ ਦੇ ਅੰਤ ਦਾ ਕੀ ਨਿਸ਼ਾਨ ਹੋਵੇਗਾ?

³As he sat on the Mount of Olives, the disciples came to him privately, saying, “Tell us, when will these things be? What is the sign of your coming, and of the end of the age?”

⁴ਯਿਸੂ ਨੇ ਆਖਿਆ, “ਸਾਵਧਾਨ ਰਹਿਣਾ ਕਿਸੇ ਕੋਲੋਂ ਵੀ ਧੋਖਾ ਨਾ ਖਾਣਾ।

⁴Jesus answered them, “Be careful that no one leads you astray.

⁵ਕਿਉਂਕਿ ਬਹੁਤ ਲੋਕ ਮੇਰੇ ਨਾਂ ਤੇ ਆਉਣਗੇ ਅਤੇ ਆਖਣਗੇ, “ਮੈਂ ਮਸੀਹ ਹਾਂ।” ਤੇ ਉਹ ਬਹੁਤ ਲੋਕਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਗੁਮਰਾਹ ਕਰਨਗੇ।

⁵ For many will come in my name, saying, ‘I am the Christ,’ and will lead many astray.

⁶ਤੁਸੀਂ ਲਡ਼ੀਆਂ ਜਾਣ ਵਾਲੀਆਂ ਲਡ਼ਾਈਆਂ ਬਾਰੇ ਵੀ ਸੁਣੋਂਗੇ। ਤੁਸੀਂ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਲਡ਼ਾਈਆਂ ਦੇ ਸ਼ੁਰੂ ਹੋਣ ਦੀਆਂ ਅਫ਼ਵਾਹਾਂ ਸੁਣੋਂਗੇ। ਪਰ ਤੁਸੀਂ ਡਰਨਾ ਨਹੀਂ ਕਿਉਂਕਿ ਇਹ ਸਭ ਗੱਲਾਂ ਵਾਪਰਨੀਆਂ ਚਾਹੀਦੀਆਂ ਹਨ। ਪਰ ਹਾਲੇ ਇਹ ਅੰਤ ਨਹੀਂ।

⁶ You will hear of wars and rumors of wars. See that you aren’t troubled, for all this must happen, but the end is not yet.

⁷ਇੱਕ ਕੌਮ ਦੂਜੀ ਕੌਮ ਉੱਪਰ ਹੀ ਇੱਕ ਪਾਤਸ਼ਾਹੀ ਦੂਜੀ ਉੱਪਰ ਚਢ਼ਾਈ ਕਰੇਗੀ। ਬਹੁਤ ਥਾਵਾਂ ਉੱਤੇ ਅਕਾਲ ਪੈਣਗੇ ਅਤੇ ਭੂਚਾਲ ਆਉਣਗੇ।

⁷ For nation will rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom; and there will be famines, plagues, and earthquakes in various places.

⁸ਇਹ ਸਭ ਗੱਲਾਂ ਔਰਤ ਦੀ ਗਰਭ ਅਵਸਥਾ ਦੀਆਂ ਪੀਡ਼ਾਂ ਵਾਂਗ ਹੋਣਗੀਆਂ, ਜਦੋਂ ਉਹ ਇੱਕ ਬੱਚੇ ਨੂੰ ਜਨਮ ਦੇ ਰਹੀ ਹੁੰਦੀ ਹੈ।

⁸ But all these things are the beginning of birth pains.

⁹“ਫ਼ਿਰ ਲੋਕ ਤੁਹਾਨੂੰ ਸ਼ਾਸਕਾਂ ਹੱਥੀਂ ਦੇਣਗੇ ਅਤੇ ਮਾਰੇ ਜਾਣ ਲਈ ਫ਼ਡ਼ਾ ਦੇਣਗੇ। ਸਭ ਲੋਕ ਤੁਹਾਨੂੰ ਨਫ਼ਰਤ ਕਰਨਗੇ। ਇਹ ਸਭ ਗੱਲਾਂ ਤੁਹਾਡੇ ਨਾਲ ਇਸ ਲਈ ਵਪਰਨਗੀਆਂ ਕਿਉਂਕਿ ਤੁਸੀਂ ਮੇਰੇ ਵਿੱਚ ਵਿਸ਼ਵਾਸ ਰਖਦੇ ਹੋ।

⁹ Then they will deliver you up to oppression, and will kill you. You will be hated by all of the nations for my name’s sake.

¹⁰ਉਸ ਵਕਤ ਬਹੁਤ ਸਾਰੇ ਨਿਹਚਾਵਾਨ ਆਪਣਾ ਵਿਸ਼ਵਾਸ ਗੁਆ ਬੈਠਣਗੇ ਅਤੇ ਉਹ ਇੱਕ ਦੂਜੇ ਦੇ ਵਿਰੋਧ ਵਿੱਚ ਉਠ ਖਡ਼ੋਣਗੇ ਤੇ ਆਪਣੇ ਵਿੱਚ ਨਫ਼ਰਤਾਂ ਪਾਲ ਬੈਠਣਾਗੇ।

¹⁰ Then many will stumble, and will deliver up one another, and will hate one another.

¹¹ਬਹੁਤ ਸਾਰੇ ਝੂਠੇ ਨਬੀ ਆਉਣਗੇ ਅਤੇ ਬਹੁਤ ਲੋਕਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਗਲਤ ਰਾਹ ਪਾ ਦੇਣਗੇ।

¹¹ Many false prophets will arise, and will lead many astray.

¹²ਦੁਨੀਆਂ ਵਿੱਚ ਦੁਸ਼ਟਤਾ ਵਧ ਜਾਵੇਗੀ। ਇਸ ਲਈ ਬਹੁਤ ਸਾਰੇ ਸ਼ਰਧਾਲੂਆਂ ਦਾ ਪਿਆਰ ਠੰਡਾ ਪੈ ਜਾਵੇਗਾ।

¹² Because iniquity will be multiplied, the love of many will grow cold.

¹³ਪਰ ਜਿਹਡ਼ਾ ਅੰਤ ਤੀਕ ਸਹੇਗਾ ਉਹੀ ਬਚਾਇਆ ਜਾਵੇਗਾ।

¹³ But he who endures to the end, the same will be saved.

¹⁴ਅਤੇ ਪਰਮੇਸ਼ੁਰ ਦੇ ਰਾਜ ਬਾਰੇ ਇਹ ਖੁਸ਼ਖਬਰੀ ਸਾਰੀ ਦੁਨੀਆਂ ਵਿੱਚ ਫ਼ੈਲਾਈ ਜਾਵੇਗੀ। ਹਰ ਇੱਕ ਕੌਮ ਨੂੰ ਇਸ ਬਾਰੇ ਦਸਿਆ ਜਾਵੇਗਾ ਉਸ ਤੋਂ ਮਗਰੋਂ ਅੰਤ ਆਵੇਗਾ।

¹⁴ This Good News of the Kingdom will be preached in the whole world for a testimony to all the nations, and then the end will come.

¹⁵“ਦਾਨੀਏਲ ਨਬੀ ਨੇ ਉਸ ਘਿਨਾਉਣੀ ਦਿਲ ਕੰਬਾਊ ਵਸਤ ਬਾਰੇ ਆਖਿਆ ਹੈ ਜਿਸ ਨਾਲ ਭਾਰੀ ਨੁਕਸਾਨ ਹੋਣਾ ਹੈ। ਤੁਸੀਂ ਉਹ ਭਿਆਨਕ ਵਸਤ ਪਵਿੱਤਰ ਸਥਾਨ ਵਿੱਚ ਖਡ਼ੀ ਵੇਖੋਂਗੇ।” ਤੁਹਾਡੇ ਵਿੱਚ ਜਿਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੇ ਇਸ ਬਾਰੇ ਪਢ਼ਿਆ ਹੈ ਉਹ ਸਮਝਦੇ ਹਨ ਕਿ ਇਸਦਾ ਕੀ ਅਰਥ ਹੈ।

¹⁵ “When, therefore, you see the abomination of desolation, Daniel 9:27; 11:31; 12:11 which was spoken of through Daniel the prophet, standing in the holy place (let the reader understand),

¹⁶“ਉਸ ਵਕਤ ਜਿਹਡ਼ੇ ਲੋਕ ਯਹੂਦਿਯਾ ਵਿੱਚ ਹੋਣ ਉਹ ਪਹਾਡ਼ੀਆਂ ਨੂੰ ਭੱਜ ਜਾਣ।

¹⁶ then let those who are in Judea flee to the mountains.

¹⁷ਲੋਕਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਉਸ ਵਕਤ ਬਿਨਾ ਆਪਣਾ ਵਕਤ ਜਾਇਆ ਕੀਤਿਆਂ ਉਥੇ ਜਾਣਾ ਚਾਹੀਦਾ ਹੈ। ਜੇਕਰ ਕੋਈ ਮਨੁੱਖ ਆਪਣੇ ਘਰ ਦੀ ਛੱਤ ਉੱਤੇ ਹੈ, ਤਾਂ ਉਸਨੂੰ ਘਰ ਵਿੱਚੋਂ ਆਪਣੀਆਂ ਚੀਜ਼ਾਂ ਲੈਣ ਵਾਸਤੇ ਹੇਠਾਂ ਨਹੀਂ ਆਉਣਾ ਚਾਹੀਦਾ।

¹⁷ Let him who is on the housetop not go down to take out things that are in his house.

¹⁸ਜੇਕਰ ਕੋਈ ਮਨੁੱਖ ਖੇਤ ਵਿੱਚ ਹੈ ਤਾਂ ਉਸਨੂੰ ਆਪਣਾ ਚੋਲਾ ਲੈਣ ਵਾਸਤੇ ਵਾਪਿਸ ਨਹੀਂ ਆਉਣਾ ਚਾਹੀਦਾ।

¹⁸ Let him who is in the field not return back to get his clothes.

¹⁹ਇਹ ਵਕਤ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਔਰਤਾਂ ਵਾਸਤੇ ਬਡ਼ਾ ਖਰਾਬ ਹੋਵੇਗਾ ਜਿਹਡ਼ੀਆਂ ਗਰਭਵਤੀਆਂ ਹੋਣਗੀਆਂ ਜਾਂ ਜਿਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦੇ ਬੱਚੇ ਦੁਧ ਚੁੰਘਦੇ ਹੋਣਗੇ।

¹⁹ But woe to those who are with child and to nursing mothers in those days!

²⁰ਪਰ ਤੁਸੀਂ ਪ੍ਰਾਰਥਨਾ ਕਰੋ ਕਿ ਤੁਹਾਡੀ ਭਾਜ ਸਰਦੀਆਂ ਵਿੱਚ ਜਾਂ ਸਬਤ ਦੇ ਦਿਨ ਨਾ ਹੋਵੇ।

²⁰ Pray that your flight will not be in the winter, nor on a Sabbath,

²¹ਕਿਉਂਕਿ, ਉਸ ਸਮੇਂ ਬਹੁਤ ਵੱਡੀ ਮੁਸੀਬਤ ਹੋਵੇਗੀ। ਅਜਿਹੀ ਮੁਸੀਬਤ ਸੰਸਾਰ ਦੇ ਆਦਿ ਤੋਂ ਲੈਕੇ ਹੁਣ ਤੱਕ ਕਦੀ ਨਹੀਂ ਵਾਪਰੀ ਅਤੇ ਨਾ ਹੀ ਇਹ ਫ਼ੇਰ ਕਦੇ ਵਾਪਰੇਗੀ।

²¹ for then there will be great oppression, such as has not been from the beginning of the world until now, no, nor ever will be.

²²ਪਰਮੇਸ਼ੁਰ ਨੇ ਉਹ ਮੁਸੀਬਤਾਂ ਦੇ ਦਿਨ ਘਟਾਉਣ ਦਾ ਫ਼ੈਸਲਾ ਕੀਤਾ ਹੈ। ਜੇਕਰ ਉਸਨੇ ਅਜਿਹਾ ਨਾ ਕੀਤਾ, ਤਾਂ ਕੋਈ ਜਿਉਂਦਾ ਨਹੀਂ ਰਹੇਗਾ। ਪਰ ਪਰਮੇਸ਼ੁਰ ਨੇ ਉਹ ਸਮਾਂ ਆਪਣੇ ਚੁਨੇ ਹੋਏ ਲੋਕਾਂ ਦੀ ਭਲਾਈ ਲਈ ਘਟਾ ਦਿੱਤਾ ਹੈ।

²² Unless those days had been shortened, no flesh would have been saved. But for the sake of the chosen ones, those days will be shortened.

²³ਉਸ ਵਕਤ ਜੇਕਰ ਤੁਹਾਨੂੰ ਕੋਈ ਆਖੇ ਕਿ ਵੇਖੋ ਮਸੀਹ ਇਥੇ ਹੈ, ਤੇ ਕੋਈ ਕਹੇ ਕਿ ਵੇਖੋ ਉਹ ਇਥੇ ਹੈ, ਤਾਂ ਤੁਸੀਂ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦਾ ਵਿਸ਼ਵਾਸ ਨਾ ਕਰਨਾ।

²³ “Then if any man tells you, ‘Behold, here is the Christ,’ or, ‘There,’ don’t believe it.

²⁴ਕਿਉਂਕਿ ਝੂਠੇ ਮਸੀਹ ਅਤੇ ਝੂਠੇ ਨਬੀ ਉਠਣਗੇ ਅਤੇ ਕਈ ਤਰ੍ਹਾਂ ਦੇ ਅਚਰਜ ਨਿਸ਼ਾਨ ਅਤੇ ਅਦਭੁਤ ਕਰਾਮਾਤਾਂ ਵਿਖਾਉਣਗੇ ਕਿ ਉਹ ਪਰਮੇਸ਼ੁਰ ਵੱਲੋਂ ਚੁਣਿਆ ਹੋਇਆਂ ਨੂੰ ਵੀ ਭੁਲੇਵੇ ਵਿੱਚ ਪਾ ਸਕਣ। ਉਹ ਇਹ ਗੱਲਾਂ, ਜੇਕਰ ਸੰਭਵ ਹੋਇਆ ਤਾਂ, ਪਰਮੇਸ਼ੁਰ ਦੇ ਚੁਣੇ ਹੋਏ ਲੋਕਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਗੁਮਰਾਹ ਕਰਨ ਲਈ ਵੀ ਕਰਨਗੇ।

²⁴ For there will arise false christs, and false prophets, and they will show great signs and wonders, so as to lead astray, if possible, even the chosen ones.

²⁵ਹੁਣ ਮੈਂ ਤੁਹਾਨੂੰ ਇਹ ਸਭ ਕੁਝ ਵਾਪਰਨ ਤੋਂ ਪਹਿਲਾਂ ਹੀ ਦੱਸ ਦਿੱਤਾ ਹੈ।

²⁵ “Behold, I have told you beforehand.

²⁶“ਕੁਝ ਲੋਕ ਤੁਹਾਨੂੰ ਜੇਕਰ ਇਹ ਕਹਿਣ ਕਿ ਮਸੀਹ ਥਲਾਂ ਵਿੱਚ ਹੈ। ਤਾਂ ਤੁਸੀਂ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦੇ ਕਹੇ ਉਜਾਡ਼ ਵਿੱਚ ਮਸੀਹ ਨੂੰ ਲਭਣ ਨਾ ਚਲੇ ਜਾਣਾ। ਕੋਈ ਤੁਹਾਨੂੰ ਇਹ ਵੀ ਕਹਿ ਸਕ੍ਕਦਾ ਹੈ ਕਿ ਵੇਖੋ ਮਸੀਹ ਅੰਦਰਲੀ ਕੋਠਡ਼ੀ ਵਿੱਚ ਹੈ। ਪਰ ਤੁਸੀਂ ਉਸਤੇ ਵਿਸ਼ਵਾਸ ਨਾ ਕਰਿਓ।

²⁶ If therefore they tell you, ‘Behold, he is in the wilderness,’ don’t go out; ‘Behold, he is in the inner rooms,’ don’t believe it.

²⁷ਕਿਉਂਕਿ ਜਿਸ ਤਰ੍ਹਾਂ ਬਿਜਲੀ ਚਢ਼ਦਿਉਂ ਚਮਕਾ ਮਾਰਕੇ ਲਹਿੰਦੇ ਤੀਕਰ ਦਿਸਦੀ ਹੈ ਉਸੇ ਤਰ੍ਹਾਂ ਮਨੁੱਖ ਦੇ ਪੁੱਤਰ ਦਾ ਆਉਣਾ ਹੋਵੇਗਾ।

²⁷ For as the lightning flashes from the east, and is seen even to the west, so will be the coming of the Son of Man.

²⁸ਜਦੋਂ ਤੁਸੀਂ ਗਿਰਝਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਇਕਠਿਆਂ ਹੁੰਦਿਆਂ ਦੇਖਦੇ ਹੋ ਤਾਂ ਤੁਸੀਂ ਜਾਣ ਜਾਂਦੇ ਹੋ ਇਥੇ ਕੋਈ ਮੁਰਦਾ ਹੈ। ਉਸੇ ਤਰ੍ਹਾਂ ਮੇਰਾ ਆਉਣਾ ਵੀ ਸਭ ਲਈ ਸਾਫ਼ ਹੋਵੇਗਾ।

²⁸ For wherever the carcass is, there is where the vultures or, eagles gather together.

²⁹“ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦਿਨਾਂ ਦੀਆਂ ਤਕਲੀਫ਼ਾਂ ਤੋਂ ਤੁਰੰਤ ਬਾਦ, ਇਹ ਵਾਪਰੇਗਾ: ਝੱਟ ਹੀ ਸੂਰਜ ਹਨੇਰਾ ਹੋ ਜਾਵੇਗਾ ਅਤੇ ਚੰਨ ਆਪਣੀ ਚਾਨਣੀ ਨਹੀਂ ਦੇਵੇਗਾ ਤਾਰੇ ਅਕਾਸ਼ ਤੋਂ ਡਿੱਗ ਪੈਣਗੇ ਅਤੇ ਅਕਾਸ਼ਾਂ ਦੀਆਂ ਸ਼ਕਤੀਆਂ ਹਿਲਾਈਆਂ ਜਾਣਗੀਆਂ।”ਯਸਾਯਾਹ 13:10; 34:4

²⁹ But immediately after the oppression of those days, the sun will be darkened, the moon will not give its light, the stars will fall from the sky, and the powers of the heavens will be shaken; Isaiah 13:10; 34:4

³⁰“ਉਸ ਵਕਤ, ਅਕਾਸ਼ ਵਿੱਚ ਇੱਕ ਨਿਸ਼ਾਨ ਪ੍ਰਗਟੇਗਾ, ਇਹ ਵਿਖਾਉਣ ਲਈ, ਕਿ ਮਨੁੱਖ ਦਾ ਪੁੱਤਰ ਆ ਰਿਹਾ ਹੈ। ਫ਼ਿਰ ਧਰਤੀ ਦੇ ਸਾਰੇ ਲੋਕ ਚੀਕਣਗੇ। ਉਹ ਮਨੁੱਖ ਦੇ ਪੁੱਤਰ ਨੂੰ ਸ਼ਕਤੀ ਅਤੇ ਮਹਾਨ ਮਹਿਮਾ ਨਾਲ ਅਕਾਸ਼ ਦੇ ਬੱਦਲਾਂ ਤੇ ਆਉਂਦਾ ਵੇਖਣਗੇ।

³⁰ and then the sign of the Son of Man will appear in the sky. Then all the tribes of the earth will mourn, and they will see the Son of Man coming on the clouds of the sky with power and great glory.

³¹ਮਨੁੱਖ ਦਾ ਪੁੱਤਰ ਤੂਰ੍ਹੀ ਦੀ ਵੱਡੀ ਅਵਾਜ਼ ਨਾਲ ਆਪਣੇ ਦੂਤਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਭੇਜੇਗਾ। ਉਹ ਉਸਦੇ ਚੁਣੇ ਹੋਏ ਲੋਕਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਧਰਤੀ ਦੇ ਇੱਕ ਸਿਰੇ ਤੋਂ ਦੂਜੇ ਸਿਰੇ ਤੱਕ ਅਤੇ ਅਕਾਸ਼ ਦੇ ਇੱਕ ਸਿਰੇ ਤੋਂ ਦੂਜੇ ਸਿਰੇ ਤੱਕ ਇਕਠਿਆਂ ਕਰਨਗੇ।”

³¹ He will send out his angels with a great sound of a trumpet, and they will gather together his chosen ones from the four winds, from one end of the sky to the other.

³²“ਅੰਜੀਰ ਦਾ ਰੁੱਖ ਸਾਨੂੰ ਸਬਕ ਸਿਖਾਉਂਦਾ ਹੈ। ਤੁਸੀਂ ਜਾਣਦੇ ਹੋ ਕਿ ਜਦੋਂ ਅੰਜੀਰ ਦੇ ਦ੍ਰਖਤ ਦੀਆਂ ਟਹਿਣੀਆਂ ਨਰਮ ਅਤੇ ਹਰੀਆਂ ਹੁੰਦੀਆਂ ਹਨ ਅਤੇ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਤੇ ਪਤ੍ਤੇ ਫ਼ੁੱਟਦੇ ਹਨ ਤਾਂ ਪਤਾ ਲੱਗ ਜਾਂਦਾ ਹੈ ਕਿ ਗਰਮੀ ਦੀ ਰੁੱਤ ਨੇਡ਼ੇ ਹੈ।

³² “Now from the fig tree learn this parable. When its branch has now become tender, and puts forth its leaves, you know that the summer is near.

³³ਇਸੇ ਤਰ੍ਹਾਂ, ਜਦੋਂ ਤੁਸੀਂ ਇਹ ਸਭ ਗੱਲਾਂ ਵਾਪਰਦੀਆਂ ਵੇਖੋਂਗੇ, ਤੁਸੀਂ ਜਾਣ ਜਾਵੋਂਗੇ ਕਿ ਮਨੁੱਖ ਦੇ ਪੁੱਤਰ ਦਾ ਆਉਣਾ ਨੇਡ਼ੇ ਹੈ।

³³ Even so you also, when you see all these things, know that it is near, even at the doors.

³⁴ਮੈਂ ਤੁਹਾਨੂੰ ਸੱਚ ਦੱਸਦਾ ਹਾਂ। ਇਹ ਸਭ ਗੱਲਾਂ ਉਦੋਂ ਵਾਪਰਨਗੀਆਂ ਜਦੋਂ ਹਾਲੇ ਇਹ ਪੀਢ਼ੀ ਜਿਉਂਦੀ ਹੋਵੇਗੀ।

³⁴ Most certainly I tell you, this generation The word for “generation” (genea) can also be translated as “race.” will not pass away, until all these things are accomplished.

³⁵ਧਰਤੀ ਅਤੇ ਅਕਾਸ਼ ਖਤਮ ਹੋ ਜਾਣਗੇ ਪਰ ਮੇਰੇ ਬਚਨ ਕਦੇ ਵੀ ਨਹੀਂ ਮਰਨਗੇ।

³⁵ Heaven and earth will pass away, but my words will not pass away.

³⁶“ਪਰ ਉਸ ਦਿਨ ਅਤੇ ਉਸ ਘਡ਼ੀ ਨੂੰ ਕੋਈ ਨਹੀਂ ਜਾਣਦਾ। ਨਾ ਸਵਰਗ ਦੇ ਦੂਤ ਨਾ ਪੁੱਤਰ ਸਿਰਫ਼ ਪਿਤਾ ਹੀ ਜਾਣਦਾ ਹੈ।

³⁶ But no one knows of that day and hour, not even the angels of heaven, NU adds “nor the son” but my Father only.

³⁷ਜਿਵੇਂ ਨੋਆਹ ਦਾ ਸਮਾਂ ਸੀ ਉਸੇ ਤਰ੍ਹਾਂ ਮਨੁੱਖ ਦੇ ਪੁੱਤਰ ਦਾ ਆਉਣਾ ਵੀ ਹੋਵੇਗਾ।

³⁷ “As the days of Noah were, so will be the coming of the Son of Man.

³⁸ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦਿਨਾਂ ਵਿੱਚ ਹਢ਼ ਤੋਂ ਪਹਿਲਾਂ, ਲੋਕ ਖਾ ਰਹੇ ਸਨ, ਪੀ ਰਹੇ ਸਨ, ਵਿਆਹ ਕਰਵਾ ਰਹੇ ਸਨ ਅਤੇ ਆਪਣੇ ਬਚਿਆਂ ਦੇ ਵਿਆਹ ਵੀ ਕਰ ਰਹੇ ਸਨ ਅਤੇ ਲੋਕ ਇਹ ਸਭ ਕੁਝ ਕਰਦੇ ਰਹੇ ਜਦ ਤੱਕ ਕਿ ਨੋਆਹ ਕਿਸ਼ਤੀ ਉੱਤੇ ਨਹੀਂ ਚਢ਼ਿਆ ਸੀ।

³⁸ For as in those days which were before the flood they were eating and drinking, marrying and giving in marriage, until the day that Noah entered into the ship,

³⁹ਲੋਕਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਨਹੀਂ ਪਤਾ ਸੀ ਕਿ ਕੀ ਵਾਪਰ ਰਿਹਾ ਸੀ। ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਹਢ਼ ਆਉਣ ਅਤੇ ਸਭ ਲੋਕਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਨਸ਼ਟ ਕਰ ਦੇਣ ਤੱਕ ਕੁਝ ਵੀ ਪਤਾ ਨਹੀਂ ਸੀ। ਇਵੇਂ ਹੀ ਮਨੁੱਖ ਦੇ ਪੁੱਤਰ ਦੇ ਆਉਣ ਤੇ ਹੋਵੇਗਾ।

³⁹ and they didn’t know until the flood came, and took them all away, so will be the coming of the Son of Man.

⁴⁰ਦੋ ਮਨੁੱਖ ਇਕਠੇ ਖੇਤ ਵਿੱਚ ਕੰਮ ਕਰ ਰਹੇ ਹੋਣਗੇ, ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਵਿੱਚੋਂ ਇੱਕ ਨੂੰ ਫ਼ਡ਼ ਲਿਆ ਜਾਵੇਗਾ ਅਤੇ ਦੂਜਾ ਛੱਡ ਦਿੱਤਾ ਜਾਵੇਗਾ।

⁴⁰ Then two men will be in the field: one will be taken and one will be left;

⁴¹ਦੋ ਔਰਤਾਂ ਚਕ੍ਕੀ ਪੀਹ ਰਹੀਆਂ ਹੋਣਗੀਆਂ ਇੱਕ ਲੈ ਲਿਤ੍ਤੀ ਜਾਵੇਗੀ ਅਤੇ ਦੂਜੀ ਨੂੰ ਛੱਡ ਦਿੱਤਾ ਜਾਵੇਗਾ।

⁴¹ two women grinding at the mill, one will be taken and one will be left.

⁴²“ਸੋ ਹੁਸ਼ਿਆਰ ਰਹੋ! ਤੁਸੀਂ ਨਹੀਂ ਜਾਣਦੇ ਕਿ ਤੁਹਾਡਾ ਪ੍ਰਭੂ ਕਿਹਡ਼ੇ ਦਿਨ ਆਵੇਗਾ।

⁴² Watch therefore, for you don’t know in what hour your Lord comes.

⁴³ਇਹ ਗੱਲ ਯਾਦ ਰੱਖਣਾ ਕਿ ਜੇਕਰ ਘਰ ਦਾ ਮਾਲਕ ਜਾਣਦਾ ਹੋਵੇ ਕਿ ਚੋਰ ਕਿਸ ਵਕਤ ਆਉਣ ਵਾਲਾ ਹੈ, ਉਹ ਸਤਰਕ ਰਹੇਗਾ ਅਤੇ ਚੋਰ ਨੂੰ ਆਪਣੇ ਘਰ ਦੇ ਅੰਦਰ ਵਢ਼ਨ ਨਹੀਂ ਦੇਵੇਗਾ।

⁴³ But know this, that if the master of the house had known in what watch of the night the thief was coming, he would have watched, and would not have allowed his house to be broken into.

⁴⁴ਇਵੇਂ ਤੁਹਾਨੂੰ ਵੀ ਤਿਆਰ ਰਹਿਣਾ ਚਾਹੀਦਾ ਹੈ ਕਿਉਂਕਿ ਜਿਸ ਘਡ਼ੀ ਤੁਹਾਨੂੰ ਚਿਤ੍ਤ ਚੇਤਾ ਵੀ ਨਹੀ ਹੋਣਾ ਉਸ ਘਡ਼ੀ ਮਨੁੱਖ ਦਾ ਪੁੱਤਰ ਆ ਜਾਵੇਗਾ।

⁴⁴ Therefore also be ready, for in an hour that you don’t expect, the Son of Man will come.

⁴⁵“ਗਿਆਨੀ ਅਤੇ ਭਰੋਸੇ ਯੋਗ ਨੋਕਰ ਕੌਣ ਹੈ? ਉਹ ਅਜਿਹਾ ਹੈ ਜਿਸਨੂੰ ਮਾਲਕ ਨੇ ਹੋਰਨਾਂ ਸਾਰੇ ਨੋਕਰਾਂ ਉੱਤੇ ਨਿਗਰਾਨੀ ਰੱਖਣ ਅਤੇ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਠੀਕ ਸਮੇਂ ਤੇ ਭੋਜਨ ਦੇਣ ਦੀ ਜ਼ਿੰਮੇਦਾਰੀ ਦਿੱਤੀ ਹੈ?”

⁴⁵ “Who then is the faithful and wise servant, whom his lord has set over his household, to give them their food in due season?

⁴⁶ਜਦੋਂ ਮਾਲਕ ਆਉਂਦਾ ਹੈ ਅਤੇ ਨੋਕਰ ਨੂੰ ਦਿੱਤਾ ਹੋਇਆ ਕੰਮ ਕਰਦਿਆਂ ਵੇਖਦਾ ਹੈ, ਤਾਂ ਉਹ ਨੋਕਰ ਬਹੁਤ ਖੁਸ਼ ਹੁੰਦਾ ਹੈ।

⁴⁶ Blessed is that servant whom his lord finds doing so when he comes.

⁴⁷ਮੈਂ ਤੁਹਾਨੂੰ ਸੱਚ ਦੱਸਦਾ ਹਾਂ। ਮਾਲਕ ਉਸ ਨੋਕਰ ਨੂੰ ਆਪਣੀ ਸਾਰੀ ਜਾਇਦਾਦ ਦੀ ਜ਼ਿੰਮੇਵਾਰੀ ਦੇ ਦੇਵੇਗਾ।

⁴⁷ Most certainly I tell you that he will set him over all that he has.

⁴⁸ਪਰ ਉਦੋਂ ਕੀ ਹੋਵੇਗਾ ਜੇ ਨੋਕਰ ਦੁਸ਼ਟ ਹੋਵੇ ਅਤੇ ਸੋਚੇ ਕਿ ਉਸਦਾ ਮਾਲਕ ਛੇਤੀ ਵਾਪਿਸ ਨਹੀਂ ਆਵੇਗਾ?

⁴⁸ But if that evil servant should say in his heart, ‘My lord is delaying his coming,’

⁴⁹ਫ਼ੇਰ ਉਹ ਦੂਜੇ ਨੋਕਰਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਮਾਰਨਾ ਕੁਟ੍ਟਣਾ ਸ਼ੁਰੂ ਕਰ ਦੇਵੇਗਾ ਅਤੇ ਸ਼ਰਾਬੀਆਂ ਨਾਲ ਖਾਣ-ਪੀਣ ਅਤੇ ਆਨੰਦ ਮਾਨਣ ਲੱਗ ਪਵੇਗਾ।

⁴⁹ and begins to beat his fellow servants, and eat and drink with the drunkards,

⁵⁰ਤਾਂ ਉਸ ਨੋਕਰ ਦਾ ਮਾਲਕ ਅਚਾਨਕ ਆਵੇਗਾ, ਜਦੋਂ ਉਸਨੂੰ ਉਸਦੀ ਆਸ ਵੀ ਨਹੀਂ ਹੋਵੇਗੀ, ਅਤੇ ਉਹ ਉਸਨੂੰ ਯਾਦ ਚੇਤੇ ਨਹੀਂ ਹੋਵੇਗਾ।

⁵⁰ the lord of that servant will come in a day when he doesn’t expect it, and in an hour when he doesn’t know it,

⁵¹ਫ਼ਿਰ ਮਾਲਕ ਉਸਨੂੰ ਸਜ਼ਾ ਦੇਵੇਗਾ ਅਤੇ ਉਸਨੂੰ ਕਪਟੀਆਂ ਨਾਲ ਭੇਜ ਦੇਵੇਗਾ, ਜਿਥੇ ਲੋਕ ਚੀਕਦੇ ਅਤੇ ਆਪਣੇ ਦੰਦ ਕਰੀਚਦੇ ਹੋਣਗੇ।

⁵¹ and will cut him in pieces, and appoint his portion with the hypocrites. There is where the weeping and grinding of teeth will be.
