King James Version

Daniel

10

1Persia kumpipa Kura kum thumna kumin Danial, a min Beltesazar kiangah thu khat a hongkihilha; huan huai thu tuh a tak ahi a, kidouna thupi mahmah; huchiin huai thu a theisiama, mengmuhna theihsiamna a nei hi.
1In the third year of Cyrus king of Persia a thing was revealed unto Daniel, whose name was called Belteshazzar; and the thing was true, but the time appointed was long: and he understood the thing, and had understanding of the vision.
2Huai laiin kei Danialin nipikal pumpi kal thum ka sun a.
2In those days I Daniel was mourning three full weeks.
3Tanghou lim ka ne kei a; sa hiin uain hileh ka kam ah a lut keia; sathau leng, nipikal pumpi thum a tunkum masiah, ka nilh het kei hi.
3I ate no pleasant bread, neither came flesh nor wine in my mouth, neither did I anoint myself at all, till three whole weeks were fulfilled.
4Huan kha masapen ni sawmnih leh li niin, lui lian, Hiddekel pangah ka nadinga
4And in the four and twentieth day of the first month, as I was by the side of the great river, which is Hiddekel;
5Ka daka, huan ngaiin, mi khat puan malngat silh, a kawngte Uphazi dangkaeng sianga gak ka mu a;
5Then I lifted up mine eyes, and looked, and behold a certain man clothed in linen, whose loins were girded with fine gold of Uphaz:
6A pumpi leng beril-suang bang ahi a; a mai khophia kilatdan bang ahi; a mitte meisel kuang bang, a bante leh a khepekte a jia dal nawttet bang; a thugen ging mipi aw bang ahi;
6His body also was like the beryl, and his face as the appearance of lightning, and his eyes as lamps of fire, and his arms and his feet like in colour to polished brass, and the voice of his words like the voice of a multitude.
7Huchiin kei Danial kiain mengmuhna ka mu hi; ka kianga om miten lah huai mengmuhna a mu ngal kei ua; himahleh a tunguah nakpia linna a hong tunga, bu dingin a taikekta uhi
7And I Daniel alone saw the vision: for the men that were with me saw not the vision; but a great quaking fell upon them, so that they fled to hide themselves.
8Huchiin kei kiaa nutsiatin ka oma; huan hiai mengmuhna thupi ka muta hi; huchiin keiah hatna a om nawnta keia; ka kilawmna keiah siatna a hongsuak taa; hatna keplai ka neita kei hi.
8Therefore I was left alone, and saw this great vision, and there remained no strength in me: for my comeliness was turned in me into corruption, and I retained no strength.
9Hina piin a thute aw ka jaa; a thute aw ka jak laiin, a khupin nakpi takin ka ihmutaa, ka mai lei lam ngain.
9Yet heard I the voice of his words: and when I heard the voice of his words, then was I in a deep sleep on my face, and my face toward the ground.
10Huan, ngaiin, khutin a hon khoiha; ka khuk leh ka khut pekte tungah hon lungsaka.
10And, behold, an hand touched me, which set me upon my knees and upon the palms of my hands.
11Huan aman ka kiangah, Aw Danial, nang nakpitaka ita ompa, na kianga ka thugente theisiam inla, ding tangin; na kianga tua sawl lah ka hi ngala; a chi a; Huan hiai thu ka kianga a gen laiin, ling kawmin ka dingta hi.
11And he said unto me, O Daniel, a man greatly beloved, understand the words that I speak unto thee, and stand upright: for unto thee am I now sent. And when he had spoken this word unto me, I stood trembling.
12Huan aman ka kiangah, Lau ken, Danial, theisiam ding leh na Pathian maa kiniamkhiak dinga, na lungtang na koihkip ni masapen akipan, na thute jakin a om hi; huan na thute jiaka hong ka hi.
12Then said he unto me, Fear not, Daniel: for from the first day that thou didst set thine heart to understand, and to chasten thyself before thy God, thy words were heard, and I am come for thy words.
13Himahleh Persia gam lalpan ni sawmnih leh khat kei hon doua; himahleh, ngaiin, Mikael lal liante laka khat kei honpanpih dingin a hongpaia; huailaiah Persia kumpipa kiangah ka om nilou ta hi.
13But the prince of the kingdom of Persia withstood me one and twenty days: but, lo, Michael, one of the chief princes, came to help me; and I remained there with the kings of Persia.
14Huchiin ni nanung lam chianga na mite tunga hongtung ding bang ahia chih nang hon theisiam sak dia hong ka hi; mengmuhna lah ni tampi ading ahi lai ngala, chiin.
14Now I am come to make thee understand what shall befall thy people in the latter days: for yet the vision is for many days.
15Huan hiai thute banga ka kianga aman thu a gen khitin ka mai lei lam ka ngata, ka pau theikei.
15And when he had spoken such words unto me, I set my face toward the ground, and I became dumb.
16Huan, ngaiin, mi khat mite tapate toh kibangin ka mukte a honkhoih saka; huan ka kam kaa, thu ka gena ka maa dingpa kiangah, Aw ka TOUPA, mengmuhna jiakin ka lungkhamnate ka tungah hongkibunga, hatna ka neikei hi, ka chi a.
16And, behold, one like the similitude of the sons of men touched my lips: then I opened my mouth, and spake, and said unto him that stood before me, O my lord, by the vision my sorrows are turned upon me, and I have retained no strength.
17Bangchiin ahia hiai ka TOUPA sikhain hiai ka TOUPA toh a houlim theih ding? kei ka hihleh, keiah hatna a om kei paha, keiah leng hatna nutsiatin a om kei hi, chiin.
17For how can the servant of this my lord talk with this my lord? for as for me, straightway there remained no strength in me, neither is there breath left in me.
18Huailaiin mi khat mihing toh kibangin a honkhoih nawna, a honhatsakta hi.
18Then there came again and touched me one like the appearance of a man, and he strengthened me,
19Huan aman, Aw nakpi taka it mipa, lau ken; na kiangah muanna om hen, hat takin om in; ahi, hat takin omin, a chi a. Huan aman ka kianga thu a gen khitin, ka hattaa; Ka TOUPAN thugen heh, ka chia a; nang lah na honhatsakta ngala, chiin.
19And said, O man greatly beloved, fear not: peace be unto thee, be strong, yea, be strong. And when he had spoken unto me, I was strengthened, and said, Let my lord speak; for thou hast strengthened me.
20Huan aman, Na kianga bang dinga hongpai ka hia na thei hia? huan tuin Persia lalpa kidoupih ding in ka kik nawn dinga; huchia ka pai khiak chiangin, ngaiin, Grik lalpa a hongpai ding.Himahleh thutak gelhnaa kigelh nang ka honhilh ding hi; huan kuamah hiaite kalha kei honlet pih a om kei uh, na lalpa Mikael chih ngallouh chiin.
20Then said he, Knowest thou wherefore I come unto thee? and now will I return to fight with the prince of Persia: and when I am gone forth, lo, the prince of Grecia shall come.
21Himahleh thutak gelhnaa kigelh nang ka honhilh ding hi; huan kuamah hiaite kalha kei honlet pih a om kei uh, na lalpa Mikael chih ngallouh chiin.
21But I will shew thee that which is noted in the scripture of truth: and there is none that holdeth with me in these things, but Michael your prince.
