¹Aigupta gama Juda om tengteng, Migdol khua te, Tahpanhes khua te, Noph khua te leh Pathros gama tengte tungtanga Jeremia kianga thu hongtung:

¹The word that came to Jeremiah concerning all the Jews which dwell in the land of Egypt, which dwell at Migdol, and at Tahpanhes, and at Noph, and in the country of Pathros, saying,

²Sepaihte TOUPA, Israel Pathianin hichiin a chi: Jerusalem leh Juda khopite tengteng tunga thil hoihlou ka hon tun te tengteng na muta uh; huan, ngaidih ua, tuin a hongsegawpta a, kuamah a teng kei uh;

²Thus saith the LORD of hosts, the God of Israel; Ye have seen all the evil that I have brought upon Jerusalem, and upon all the cities of Judah; and, behold, this day they are a desolation, and no man dwelleth therein,

³Amau leng, nou leng, na pipute uh leng pathian dangte a theih ngei nai louh uh na sem ding leh a kiang ua gimlim halin, kei honhehsak dinga, a ginatlouhnate uh a hihkhit tak ziak un.

³Because of their wickedness which they have committed to provoke me to anger, in that they went to burn incense, and to serve other gods, whom they knew not, neither they, ye, nor your fathers.

⁴Huchi pipi inleng na kiang nasem jawlnei te tengteng jing pipi a thouin ka sawla, a kiang uah, Aw, hiai thu kihhuai, ka huatlam tak hihkei un chiin.

⁴Howbeit I sent unto you all my servants the prophets, rising early and sending them, saying, Oh, do not this abominable thing that I hate.

⁵Himahleh a ngaikhe tuan kei ua, a ginatlouhna uh pathian dangte kianga gimlim hallouh ding pen a ngeingaih sam kei uh.

⁵But they hearkened not, nor inclined their ear to turn from their wickedness, to burn no incense unto other gods.

⁶Huaijiakin ka hehna leh ka thangpaihna Juda khopite ah leh Jerusalem kongzingte ah ka sunga a kuangta a, tunia a om bangin a sia, a segawpta hi.

⁶Wherefore my fury and mine anger was poured forth, and was kindled in the cities of Judah and in the streets of Jerusalem; and they are wasted and desolate, as at this day.

⁷Huaiziakin tuin jaw TOUPA sepaihte Pathian, Israel Pathianin na lak ua kipan numei pasal, naungekte leh nawine laite Juda laka kipan kuamah hawi loua gawi mang vek dingin bangdia hiai thil hoihlou tak na hinna uh tung ngei a hih na hi ua?

⁷Therefore now thus saith the LORD, the God of hosts, the God of Israel; Wherefore commit ye this great evil against your souls, to cut off from you man and woman, child and suckling, out of Judah, to leave you none to remain;

⁸Na va tenna uh Aigupta gam pathiante kianga gimlim halin khawvel gam tengtengte laka hamsethuak leh gensiat na hih theihna ding uh leh gawi mang na hih theihna ding ua na khut thilhih ngei ua honhehsak na hi uh.

⁸In that ye provoke me unto wrath with the works of your hands, burning incense unto other gods in the land of Egypt, whither ye be gone to dwell, that ye might cut yourselves off, and that ye might be a curse and a reproach among all the nations of the earth?

⁹Na pipute uh gitlouhnate, Juda kumpipate gitlouhnate leh na jite uh gitlouhna, Juda gam leh Jerusalem kongzinga a hihkhitsate uh na manghilh ta ua hia?

⁹Have ye forgotten the wickedness of your fathers, and the wickedness of the kings of Judah, and the wickedness of their wives, and your own wickedness, and the wickedness of your wives, which they have committed in the land of Judah, and in the streets of Jerusalem?

¹⁰Tuni tan inleng a kisik tuan kei ua, na pipute uh leh noumau maa ka taklat ka dan leh ka dan bawlte na jui kei ua, na lau sam kei uh.

¹⁰They are not humbled even unto this day, neither have they feared, nor walked in my law, nor in my statutes, that I set before you and before your fathers.

¹¹Huaijiakin, sepaihte TOUPA, Israel Pathianin hichiin a chi: Ngai un, na siatna ding un Juda tengteng gawi mang vek ding in nou ka hon matuah ding hi.

¹¹Therefore thus saith the LORD of hosts, the God of Israel; Behold, I will set my face against you for evil, and to cut off all Judah.

¹²Huan, Juda omsun, Aigupta gama ten tuma kihei teiteite ka man dinga, a chimit vek ding uh; Aigupta gamah a puk ding ua, namsau leh kialte a hihman in a om ding uh; neupen akipan a lianpen tanin namsau leh kialin a si ding uh.

¹²And I will take the remnant of Judah, that have set their faces to go into the land of Egypt to sojourn there, and they shall all be consumed, and fall in the land of Egypt; they shall even be consumed by the sword and by the famine: they shall die, from the least even unto the greatest, by the sword and by the famine: and they shall be an execration, and an astonishment, and a curse, and a reproach.

¹³Jerusalem ka gawt bang mahin Aigupta gama tengte namsau te, kial te leh hipi te in ka gawt sin ngala.

¹³For I will punish them that dwell in the land of Egypt, as I have punished Jerusalem, by the sword, by the famine, and by the pestilence:

¹⁴Huachiin Aigupta gama teng dinga kuan Juda omsunte Juda gam, a omna ding ua kik nawn a ut mahmahna gam uah kik dingin khat lel leng hihdamin a suakta kei ding uh, a sima taikhe kia loungal kuamah a kik kei ding uh.

¹⁴So that none of the remnant of Judah, which are gone into the land of Egypt to sojourn there, shall escape or remain, that they should return into the land of Judah, to the which they have a desire to return to dwell there: for none shall return but such as shall escape.

¹⁵Huchiin mi tengteng, a jite un pathian dang kianga gimlim a hal chih theite leh numei huaia dingte mipi tampi, Aigupta gama teng mipi tengtengin, Pathros ah Jeremia a dawng ua, hichiin a chi uh:

¹⁵Then all the men which knew that their wives had burned incense unto other gods, and all the women that stood by, a great multitude, even all the people that dwelt in the land of Egypt, in Pathros, answered Jeremiah, saying,

¹⁶TOUPA mina ka kiang ua na thugente jaw ka honngaih khiaksak kei ding uh.

¹⁶As for the word that thou hast spoken unto us in the name of the LORD, we will not hearken unto thee.

¹⁷Kou leh ka pipute uh, ka kumpipate uh leh ka heutute un Juda khopite ah leh Jerusalem kongzingte ah a nahih jel bang un van kumpinu kianga gimlim halte leh a kianga dawnding thillat butkhiak te, ka paukam suak peuhmah bang un ka hih ngeingei ding uh; huchihlaiin ka lamzang ua, nek leh dawn ding a tama, siatna himhim ka mu sam ua.

¹⁷But we will certainly do whatsoever thing goeth forth out of our own mouth, to burn incense unto the queen of heaven, and to pour out drink offerings unto her, as we have done, we, and our fathers, our kings, and our princes, in the cities of Judah, and in the streets of Jerusalem: for then had we plenty of victuals, and were well, and saw no evil.

¹⁸Van kumpinu kianga thil hal leh a kianga dawn ding thillat butkhiakte ka tawp nung siah uh bang peuh ka tasam ta jaw ua, namsau leh kialte a hihmanin ka omta uhi.

¹⁸But since we left off to burn incense to the queen of heaven, and to pour out drink offerings unto her, we have wanted all things, and have been consumed by the sword and by the famine.

¹⁹Huan, numeiten, Van kumpinu kianga gimlim ka hal lai uh leh a kianga dawn ding thil latte ka but khiak uh? A chi ua.

¹⁹And when we burned incense to the queen of heaven, and poured out drink offerings unto her, did we make her cakes to worship her, and pour out drink offerings unto her, without our men?

²⁰Huchiin Jeremiain mipi tengteng, numei pasal amah dawngmite tengteng kiangah,

²⁰Then Jeremiah said unto all the people, to the men, and to the women, and to all the people which had given him that answer, saying,

²¹Juda khopite leh Jerusalem kongzingte ah, nou leh na pipute uh, na kumpipate uh leh na heutute uh, leh gama mipi te himhimin gimlim a hal te uh TOUPAN a thei gigein a lungsim ah a khum kei maw?

²¹The incense that ye burned in the cities of Judah, and in the streets of Jerusalem, ye, and your fathers, your kings, and your princes, and the people of the land, did not the LORD remember them, and came it not into his mind?

²²Na thil gilou hihziak uleh na thil kikhuai hihte uh jiakin TOUPAN a thuak ngap nawnta kei hi; huaijiakin, na gam uh tua a om bangin a siaa, lamdang sak chiat, hamse thuak, tengmi omlou, a honghita hi.

²²So that the LORD could no longer bear, because of the evil of your doings, and because of the abominations which ye have committed; therefore is your land a desolation, and an astonishment, and a curse, without an inhabitant, as at this day.

²³Gimlim na halua, TOUPA tungah na gilou ua, TOUPA paukam suakte na mang kei ua, a dan hiam a dan bawl hiamte a thu theihsakte hiam na zuih sam louh ziak un hiai thil hoihlou tua a om bangin na tunguah a hongtung ahi, achia.

²³Because ye have burned incense, and because ye have sinned against the LORD, and have not obeyed the voice of the LORD, nor walked in his law, nor in his statutes, nor in his testimonies; therefore this evil is happened unto you, as at this day.

²⁴Huailou leng Jeremiain mipi tengteng leh numeite kiangah, Aigupta gama Juda tengteng aw, TOUPA thu ja un, sepaihte TOUPA, Israel Pathianin hichiin a chi hi:

²⁴Moreover Jeremiah said unto all the people, and to all the women, Hear the word of the LORD, all Judah that are in the land of Egypt:

²⁵Nou leh na jite un, Van kumpinu kianga gimlim hal leh dawnding thilllat butkhiakte ka nachiamsa bang jelin ka hih ngeingei ding, chiin na kam un na genta ua, na khut un na pichingsak lai uhi. Na thuchiamte uh hihkip unla, na thu tupte uh tangtung sak vanglak un.

²⁵Thus saith the LORD of hosts, the God of Israel, saying; Ye and your wives have both spoken with your mouths, and fulfilled with your hand, saying, We will surely perform our vows that we have vowed, to burn incense to the queen of heaven, and to pour out drink offerings unto her: ye will surely accomplish your vows, and surely perform your vows.

²⁶Huaiziakin, nou Juda, Aigupta gama teng tengtengte aw, TOUPA thu ngaikhia un: Ngaiun, TOUPA PATHIAN a hina a hin sung chiin Aigupta gam pumpia teng, Juda mi kua kam mah ah ka min a ging nawn ngeikei ding chiin ka min thupi louin ka kichiam ahi chih TOUPA thupawt ahi.

²⁶Therefore hear ye the word of the LORD, all Judah that dwell in the land of Egypt; Behold, I have sworn by my great name, saith the LORD, that my name shall no more be named in the mouth of any man of Judah in all the land of Egypt, saying, The Lord GOD liveth.

²⁷Ngaiin, a hoihna ding uh hilouin a siatna ding un amau ka tang thek ahi: huchiin Juda mi, Aigupta gama om tengteng te, namsau leh kialte a hihmanin a om ding uh, a manthat vek matan un.

²⁷Behold, I will watch over them for evil, and not for good: and all the men of Judah that are in the land of Egypt shall be consumed by the sword and by the famine, until there be an end of them.

²⁸Huan, namsau hihman val tawmchik Aigupta gama kipana pawtin Juda gamah a lut ding uh; huan, Juda mi omsun te tengteng, Aigupta gama teng dinga kuan miten kua thu ahia pai zaw ding, ka thu hia amau thu a thei ding uh.

²⁸Yet a small number that escape the sword shall return out of the land of Egypt into the land of Judah, and all the remnant of Judah, that are gone into the land of Egypt to sojourn there, shall know whose words shall stand, mine, or their's.

²⁹Huan, hiai nou adingin chiamtehna ahi ding: ka thu na tunguah thil hoihlou lam dingin a pai ngei sin hi chih na theihna ding un hiai munah nou ka hon gawt sin ahi chih TOUPA thupawt ahi.TOUPAN hichiin achi: Ngai un, Pharo Hophra, Aigupta kumpipa bel a melma, a hinna zong mite khut ah ka mangsak ding, Juda kumpipa Zedekia, a melma, a hinna zongmi Babulon kumpipa Nebukadnezzar khut a ka piak bang mahin, a chi a.

²⁹And this shall be a sign unto you, saith the LORD, that I will punish you in this place, that ye may know that my words shall surely stand against you for evil:

³⁰TOUPAN hichiin achi: Ngai un, Pharo Hophra, Aigupta kumpipa bel a melma, a hinna zong mite khut ah ka mangsak ding, Juda kumpipa Zedekia, a melma, a hinna zongmi Babulon kumpipa Nebukadnezzar khut a ka piak bang mahin, a chi a.

³⁰Thus saith the LORD; Behold, I will give Pharaohhophra king of Egypt into the hand of his enemies, and into the hand of them that seek his life; as I gave Zedekiah king of Judah into the hand of Nebuchadrezzar king of Babylon, his enemy, and that sought his life.
