¹Bow down thine ear, O LORD, hear me: for I am poor and needy.

²Ka hinna vom hoih inla; Pathian limsak mi ka hi ngala: ka Pathian aw, nangmah muang na sikha, hondamin.

²Preserve my soul; for I am holy: O thou my God, save thy servant that trusteth in thee.

³TOUPA aw, honhehpih inla; nitumin ka honsam ngala.

³Be merciful unto me, O Lord: for I cry unto thee daily.

⁴Na sikha hinna hihnuam in; TOUPA aw, ka lungsim na kiangah ka koih det jiakin.

⁴Rejoice the soul of thy servant: for unto thee, O Lord, do I lift up my soul.

⁵TOUPA, nang, na hoiha, ngaihdam na ngapa, a honsam peuhmah tungah chitna na hau ngal hi.

⁵For thou, Lord, art good, and ready to forgive; and plenteous in mercy unto all them that call upon thee.

⁶TOUPA aw, ka thumna ah na bil na dohin; hehpih kon ngetna aw ngaikhia in.

⁶Give ear, O LORD, unto my prayer; and attend to the voice of my supplications.

⁷Ka mangbatna niin kon sam dinga a, lah non dawng ding hi,

⁷In the day of my trouble I will call upon thee: for thou wilt answer me.

⁸TOUPA aw, pathiante lakah nang bang himhim a om kei ua; na thilhihte bang thilhih himhim leng a om kei hi.

⁸Among the gods there is none like unto thee, O Lord; neither are there any works like unto thy works.

⁹TOUPA aw, na siam nam chihte a hongpai ding ua, na maah a hongkun ding ua, na min a honpahtawi ding uhi.

⁹All nations whom thou hast made shall come and worship before thee, O Lord; and shall glorify thy name.

¹⁰Nang na thupi ngala, thillamdangte leng na hihjela; nangmah kia Pathian na hi hi.

¹⁰For thou art great, and doest wondrous things: thou art God alone.

¹¹TOUPA aw, na lampi tuh honensak inla, na thutak ah ka omding hi. Na min lau dingin lungtang khat honpu sakin.

¹¹Teach me thy way, O LORD; I will walk in thy truth: unite my heart to fear thy name.

¹²TOUPA ka Pathian aw, ka lungtang tengtengin ka honphat dinga; na min khantawnin ka pahtawi ding hi.

¹²I will praise thee, O Lord my God, with all my heart: and I will glorify thy name for evermore.

¹³Ka tunga na chitna a thupi jiakin, ka hinna kokhuk nuainungpen akipan na humbit ngala.

¹³For great is thy mercy toward me: and thou hast delivered my soul from the lowest hell.

¹⁴Pathian aw, mi kisatheiten honsual ua, mi ngongtat omkhawmten ka hinna hihmang tumin a zong ua, nang tuh a ma uah a honkoih kei nak uhi.

¹⁴O God, the proud are risen against me, and the assemblies of violent men have sought after my soul; and have not set thee before them.

¹⁵Himahleh, TOUPA aw, nang tuh Pathian, lainatnaa dim, mi hehpihthei, lungnel, chitna leh thutak hau, na hi.

¹⁵But thou, O Lord, art a God full of compassion, and gracious, longsuffering, and plenteous in mercy and truth.

¹⁶Keilam hongnga inla, aw, honhehpihin, na sikha kiangah na hatna pia inla, na sikhanu ta hondam in.Hoihna ding chiamtehna honlak in; honhoten huai tuh a muh ua, a zahlakna ding un, TOUPA, nang non panpih-a, non khamuan jiakin.

¹⁶O turn unto me, and have mercy upon me; give thy strength unto thy servant, and save the son of thine handmaid.

¹⁷Hoihna ding chiamtehna honlak in; honhoten huai tuh a muh ua, a zahlakna ding un, TOUPA, nang non panpih-a, non khamuan jiakin.

¹⁷Shew me a token for good; that they which hate me may see it, and be ashamed: because thou, LORD, hast holpen me, and comforted me.
