Paite

King James Version

Romans

11

1Ahihleh, Pathianin a mite a pai khia ahia? Pai khelou hial. Kei leng Israel mi, Abraham suan, Benjamin nam ka hi ngala.
1I say then, Hath God cast away his people? God forbid. For I also am an Israelite, of the seed of Abraham, of the tribe of Benjamin.
2Pathianin a mi a theihkholhte a pai khe kei hi. Laisiangthouin Elija thu a gen na theikei ua hia? Aman Israel mite tungthu Pathian kiangah a tuna,
2God hath not cast away his people which he foreknew. Wot ye not what the scripture saith of Elias? how he maketh intercession to God against Israel saying,
3Toupa, na jawlneite a hihlum ua, na maitamte a hihchim ua; keimah kia nutsiatin ka om, kei leng honhihlup a hontum uhi, a chih.
3Lord, they have killed thy prophets, and digged down thine altars; and I am left alone, and they seek my life.
4Himahleh, Pathianin bangchin a dawnga? Baal maa khukdin ngeilou mi sang sagih keimah adingin ka hawi ahi, chiin, a dawng hi.
4But what saith the answer of God unto him? I have reserved to myself seven thousand men, who have not bowed the knee to the image of Baal.
5Huchibangin, tulaiin leng a sibang, hehpihna a tel a om.
5Even so then at this present time also there is a remnant according to the election of grace.
6Hehpihnajiak a hih leh, nasep jiak a hita kei, huchi ahihkeileh, hehpihna tuh hehpihna a hita kei ding.
6And if by grace, then is it no more of works: otherwise grace is no more grace. But if it be of works, then it is no more grace: otherwise work is no more work.
7Bang chi a hita dia leh? Israel miten a zon uh a mu kei uh. Telten bel a mu uh, a dangte tengteng a nanggawpta uhi.
7What then? Israel hath not obtained that which he seeketh for; but the election hath obtained it, and the rest were blinded.
8Pathianin tuni tanin a kiang uah lusukna kha a pia a, muh theihlouhna mitte, jak theihlouhna bilte toh, chih gelh bangin.
8(According as it is written, God hath given them the spirit of slumber, eyes that they should not see, and ears that they should not hear;) unto this day.
9Huan, Davidin, A dohkan uh amau adingin thang leh pial leh, pukna leh, phulakna honghi heh;
9And David saith, Let their table be made a snare, and a trap, and a stumblingblock, and a recompence unto them:
10A theihlouhna ding un a mitte uh hongmial heh, nanga a nungjang uh kun sak gige in, a chi a.
10Let their eyes be darkened, that they may not see, and bow down their back alway.
11Ahihleh, a kisuih uh a kipuk denna ding uhia? Hilou hial ding. A puk jiak un Jentelte kiangah hotdamna a hong tungzota ahi, Israel mite hajat dingin.
11I say then, Have they stumbled that they should fall? God forbid: but rather through their fall salvation is come unto the Gentiles, for to provoke them to jealousy.
12Huchiin, a pukna u bawn khovel hihhauhsakna a hiha, a kiamna uh bawn Jentelte hauhsakna leng a hih leh, a buchin nawn na uh bangchi pheta hamphatna lianjawin a jui de aw!
12Now if the fall of them be the riches of the world, and the diminishing of them the riches of the Gentiles; how much more their fulness?
13Huchiin, nou Jentelte kiangah ka gen ahi. Kei Jentelte kianga sawltak ka hih jiakin, ka nasepna pen ka pahtawi ahi,
13For I speak to you Gentiles, inasmuch as I am the apostle of the Gentiles, I magnify mine office:
14Huchi-a ka chipihte ka hajat sak theih teiteina ding leh a lak ua khenkhatte ka hotdam theihna dingin.
14If by any means I may provoke to emulation them which are my flesh, and might save some of them.
15Amau paih khiakna bawn khovel toh kituah nawn na ahihleh, amau deih nawn na ding sihna akipan hin nawna loungal bang ahi dia?
15For if the casting away of them be the reconciling of the world, what shall the receiving of them be, but life from the dead?
16Huan, gah masa thillat, tangbuang mek them a sianthou leh huchimah bangin a beupi a siangthou hi; huan, a zungpi a siangthou leh ahiangte leng huchi mahbang ahi uh.
16For if the firstfruit be holy, the lump is also holy: and if the root be holy, so are the branches.
17Huan, ahiang khenkhat te hih tana a om in, nang, oliv taklou, amau laka phuhlutin na oma, oliv singa hauhna zung kikoppih sam na hih manin,
17And if some of the branches be broken off, and thou, being a wild olive tree, wert graffed in among them, and with them partakest of the root and fatness of the olive tree;
18Hiang dangte lakah kisathei ken. Kisathei mahle chin, nang a zung vakpa na hi keia, huai a zung tuh nang honvakpa ahi jaw hi.
18Boast not against the branches. But if thou boast, thou bearest not the root, but the root thee.
19Huan, nang, Phutluta ka om theihna dingin hiangte hihtanin a om khinta vo oi, nachi dia.
19Thou wilt say then, The branches were broken off, that I might be graffed in.
20Ahi, a gintak louhna jiak un hihtanin a om ua, nang na ginna jiakin na ding ahi, Uang kenla, lau jaw in:
20Well; because of unbelief they were broken off, and thou standest by faith. Be not highminded, but fear:
21Pathian in hiang taktepen bawn a hawi keingal leh, nang leng a honhawi tuan kei ding hi.
21For if God spared not the natural branches, take heed lest he also spare not thee.
22Huchiin, Pathian hoihna leh a thukhauhna ngaihtuah i: a pukte adingin a thukhauhna; nang adingin bel a hoihna, hoihnaa na om gige leh; huchi a hihkeileh, nang leng sat khiakin na om sam ding.
22Behold therefore the goodness and severity of God: on them which fell, severity; but toward thee, goodness, if thou continue in his goodness: otherwise thou also shalt be cut off.
23Huan, amau leng, gingta loua a om nilouh kei uleh, phuhlutin a om ding uh; Pathian in amau a phutlut nawn thei ngala.
23And they also, if they abide not still in unbelief, shall be graffed in: for God is able to graff them in again.
24Nang piandana oliv taklou akipana sat sup bawn, pian dan lou banga oliv sing hoiha phutluta na om leh, tua ahiang taktakte pen, amau oliv sing ngeingeiah phutlut ding nak hih natel unchia!
24For if thou wert cut out of the olive tree which is wild by nature, and wert graffed contrary to nature into a good olive tree: how much more shall these, which be the natural branches, be graffed into their own olive tree?
25Unaute aw, hiai thuguk na theih louh uh ka ut keia, huchilou injaw na kipil sak ding uh: Jentelte buchinna a hongtun matan Israel mi khenkhatte tungah siatna a hongtung tadih ahi,
25For I would not, brethren, that ye should be ignorant of this mystery, lest ye should be wise in your own conceits; that blindness in part is happened to Israel, until the fulness of the Gentiles be come in.
26Huchiin, Israel mi tengteng hotdamin a om ding uh; Zion akipanin Hondampa a hong suak dinga, Jakob kianga kipan Pathian limsaklouhna a hihmang ding;
26And so all Israel shall be saved: as it is written, There shall come out of Sion the Deliverer, and shall turn away ungodliness from Jacob:
27Huan, hiai a kiang ua ka thu khun ding ahi, a khelhnate uh ka lakmang chiangin, chih gelh bangin.
27For this is my covenant unto them, when I shall take away their sins.
28Tanchin Hoih lam ngaihtuah in, nou jiakin melma ahi ua; tel thu lam ngaihtuahin bel a pipute uh jiakin deihtakte ahi uhi.
28As concerning the gospel, they are enemies for your sakes: but as touching the election, they are beloved for the father's sakes.
29Pathianin a thilthawnpiak ah leh a sapna ah a lungsim a khel ngei kei hi.
29For the gifts and calling of God are without repentance.
30Nidanglaiin Pathian thu na ging kei ua, himahleh tuin amau a gin louh jiak un zahngaihna na mu ngal ua.
30For as ye in times past have not believed God, yet have now obtained mercy through their unbelief:
31Huchi mahbangin, tuin, Pathian in nou a honhehpihna jiak a, zahngaihna a muh theihna ding un amau leng ging lou eita ve ua.
31Even so have these also now not believed, that through your mercy they also may obtain mercy.
32Pathianin a hehpih vek theihna dingin mi tengteng ginlouhnaah a khum vekta ngala.
32For God hath concluded them all in unbelief, that he might have mercy upon all.
33Pathian pilna leh theihna hauhdan thuk hina tele! A vaihawmnate theihtheih vual leh, a lampite sui theih vual hi keina tele!
33O the depth of the riches both of the wisdom and knowledge of God! how unsearchable are his judgments, and his ways past finding out!
34Toupa lungsim kuan ahia thei? Kuan a vaihawm saka?
34For who hath known the mind of the Lord? or who hath been his counsellor?
35A dit nawn dingin leng a kiangah kuan ahia thil pe masa?Amah akipan leh, amah jiak leh, amah adingin thil tengteng a hongom ahi ngal a; amah kiangah khantawnin thupina om hen. Amen.
35Or who hath first given to him, and it shall be recompensed unto him again?
36Amah akipan leh, amah jiak leh, amah adingin thil tengteng a hongom ahi ngal a; amah kiangah khantawnin thupina om hen. Amen.
36For of him, and through him, and to him, are all things: to whom be glory for ever. Amen.
