2 Corinthians

4

1Huchi a hih jiakin hehpihna ka muh bang jel un hiai nasepna ka neih jiak un ka lungke kei uhi;
1Therefore seeing we have this ministry, even as we obtained mercy, we don’t faint.
2Thil zumhuai kiselte tuh ka pampaih zota ua, zekhemna thu ka zang kei ua, Pathian thu tuh mi khemna dingin ka zang kei ua, thutak theisakin Pathian mitmuhin mi chih sia leh pha theihna mit ka tungsak jaw uhi.
2But we have renounced the hidden things of shame, not walking in craftiness, nor handling the word of God deceitfully; but by the manifestation of the truth commending ourselves to every man’s conscience in the sight of God.
3Himahleh, ka Tanchin Hoih uh khuha a om leh, mangthang lelte ah ahi khuha a om;
3Even if our Good News is veiled, it is veiled in those who perish;
4Kris, Pathian batpih, a thupidan Tanchin Hoih vakin amau a salh vak theih louhna dingin, huaite ah hiai khovel Pathianin gingta loute lungsim a sukmial sakta hi.
4in whom the god of this world has blinded the minds of the unbelieving, that the light of the Good News of the glory of Christ, who is the image of God, should not dawn on them.
5Koumau thu ka gen ngal kei ua, Kris Jesu Toupa ka gen jaw uhi, koute leng Jesu jiakin sikha ka hih uh leng ka gen jel uhi.
5For we don’t preach ourselves, but Christ Jesus as Lord, and ourselves as your servants for Jesus’ sake;
6Jesu Kris melah Pathian thupidan theihna vak honpe dingin, miala kipan vak a vak khe ding, chi pa Pathianin I lungtangte sal vakta ngala.
6seeing it is God who said, “Light will shine out of darkness,” who has shone in our hearts, to give the light of the knowledge of the glory of God in the face of Jesus Christ.
7Himahleh, thilhihtheihna thupina koutea hi loua, Pathiana a hih theih jawkna dingin, huai gou tuh leibel peuh ah ka kem uhi.
7But we have this treasure in clay vessels, that the exceeding greatness of the power may be of God, and not from ourselves.
8Khat lam khat lama nehden in ka om ua, himahleh, ningkitelin ka om tuan kei uh; mangbangin ka om ua, himahleh ka lungke tuan kei uh;
8We are pressed on every side, yet not crushed; perplexed, yet not to despair;
9Sawiin ka om ua, himahleh, taisanin ka om tuan kei uh; khet pukin ka om ua, himahleh, hihmangin ka om tuan kei uh.
9pursued, yet not forsaken; struck down, yet not destroyed;
10Ka pumpi uah chiklai peuhin leng Jesu sihna ka pu jel ua, Jesu hinna leng ka pumpi ua a lat theihna ding-in.
10always carrying in the body the putting to death of the Lord Jesus, that the life of Jesus may also be revealed in our body.
11Koute hingdama om nalaite Jesu jiaka si dinga matsakin ka om gige ua Jesu hinna leng kasa sithei ua a lat theihna dingin.
11For we who live are always delivered to death for Jesus’ sake, that the life also of Jesus may be revealed in our mortal flesh.
12Huchiin, koute ah sihnain a sem gige a, nou ah bel hinnain a sem gige ahi.
12So then death works in us, but life in you.
13Ahihhangin, Ka ginga, huaijiakin thu ka gen ahi, chih gelhp ginna lungsim ngei pui, kou leng ka ging ua, huaijiakin thu leng ka gen uhi;
13But having the same spirit of faith, according to that which is written, “I believed, and therefore I spoke.” We also believe, and therefore also we speak;
14Toupa Jesu kaithoupan koute leng Jesu ah hon kaithou sam dinga, noumau toh amah omna munah honding sak ding chih theiin.
14knowing that he who raised the Lord Jesus will raise us also with Jesus, and will present us with you.
15Bangkim noumau hoihna ding ahi ngala, hehpihna mi tam jaw jiaka hihkhana oma, Pathian thupina dinga kipahthugenna nakpi taka a khansak theihna dingin.
15For all things are for your sakes, that the grace, being multiplied through the many, may cause the thanksgiving to abound to the glory of God.
16Huai thujiakin ka bah kei uhi; i po lam mihing jaw jawngkhal hiaihiai mahleh, i sunglam mihing pen ni tanga bawlthak jelin a om jaw ahi.
16Therefore we don’t faint, but though our outward man is decaying, yet our inward man is renewed day by day.
17Ka gimthuakna neukha uh, tu mitphiatkal sung kia om dingin, thupina thupitak khawntawna dingin a honbawl sak hulhul ahi;Thil muh theihte en louin, thil muhtheihlouhte ka en zo ngal ua; thil muhtheihte jaw sawtlou kal ading ahi a, thilmuhtheihlouhte bel khantawn ading ahi ngala.
17For our light affliction, which is for the moment, works for us more and more exceedingly an eternal weight of glory;
18Thil muh theihte en louin, thil muhtheihlouhte ka en zo ngal ua; thil muhtheihte jaw sawtlou kal ading ahi a, thilmuhtheihlouhte bel khantawn ading ahi ngala.
18while we don’t look at the things which are seen, but at the things which are not seen. For the things which are seen are temporal, but the things which are not seen are eternal.
