11

1Huan kei ka hihleh, Mid mi Daria kum khatna kumin, amah hihkip ding leh hihhat dingin ka dinga.
1“As for me, in the first year of Darius the Mede, I stood up to confirm and strengthen him.
2Huchiin thutak ka honensak ding hi. Ngaiin, Persia ah kumpipa thum a hong dingkhe lai ding ua; huan a lina pen amaute tengteng sangin nakpi takin a hausa zo ding hi; huchia a hauhna jiaka a honghat mahmah chiangin, Grik dou dingin mi tengteng a tokthou ding hi.
2Now will I show you the truth. Behold, there shall stand up yet three kings in Persia; and the fourth shall be far richer than they all: and when he has grown strong through his riches, he shall stir up all against the realm of Greece.
3Huan kumpipa hattak a hong ding khe dinga, lalna thupi toha vaihawm ding leh, a deihdana hih ding.
3A mighty king shall stand up, who shall rule with great dominion, and do according to his will.
4Huan a hong din khiak chiangin, a gam a kek dinga, van huih lite lama hawm jak ahi ding; himahleh a suante kiangah hi louin, a vaihawmna a lalna bangin leng ahi sam kei ding hi; a gam lah boh khiaka om ding ahi ngala, hiaite lou midangtea mahmah dingin.
4When he shall stand up, his kingdom shall be broken, and shall be divided toward the four winds of the sky, but not to his posterity, nor according to his dominion with which he ruled; for his kingdom shall be plucked up, even for others besides these.
5Huchiin sim lam kumpipa a hat dinga, a lalte khat toh; amah tungah a hat dinga, lalna nei ding; a lalna lalna thupi ahi ding.
5The king of the south shall be strong, and one of his princes; and he shall be strong above him, and have dominion; his dominion shall be a great dominion.
6Huan kum bangzah hiam nungin, a kizom khawm ding ua; simlam kumpipa tanu mallam kumpipa kiangah kituahna bawl dingina hong pai dia; himahleh piak khiakin a om dia, amah honpite leh, amah suangpa, huai huntea amah hatsakpa leng.
6At the end of years they shall join themselves together; and the daughter of the king of the south shall come to the king of the north to make an agreement: but she shall not retain the strength of her arm; neither shall he stand, nor his arm; but she shall be given up, and those who brought her, and he who became the father of her, and he who strengthened her in those times.
7Ahihhangin a zungte a kipana selnou akipan a munah mi khat a hongding khe dinga; huai tuh sepaih pawl kiangah a hongpai dia; mallam kumpipa kulhpi sung ah a lut dia; amaute douin thil a hih dinga, a vualzou ding hi;
7But out of a shoot from her roots shall one stand up in his place, who shall come to the army, and shall enter into the fortress of the king of the north, and shall deal against them, and shall prevail.
8Huchiin a pathiante u leng, a milim sun te utoh. huan a dangka leh dangkaeng tuiumbelsuan hoihte utoh, Aigupta ah aman a salin a la ding hi; huan mallam kumpipa akipan kum bangzah hiam a kidang koih ding hi.
8Also their gods, with their molten images, and with their goodly vessels of silver and of gold, shall he carry captive into Egypt; and he shall refrain some years from the king of the north.
9Huan simlam kumpipa gamah a hong pai dia, himahleh amah gam lamah a kik ding hi.
9He shall come into the realm of the king of the south, but he shall return into his own land.
10Huchiin a tapaten a dou ding ua; sepaih thupi tampi a kaikhawm ding ua; huaite a hongkuan ding ua, a dimlet dingua, a pai suak ding uh; huan a kik ding ua, a dou ding ua, amah kulh tan pha hialin.
10His sons shall war, and shall assemble a multitude of great forces, which shall come on, and overflow, and pass through; and they shall return and war, even to his fortress.
11Huchiin simlam kumpipa a heh mahmah dinga, a hongkuan khe dia amah a kidou pih dia, mallam kumpipa mahmah toh; huchiin mipi atama tam a hon tungkhe dia, mipi a khuta piakin a om ding hi.
11The king of the south shall be moved with anger, and shall come forth and fight with him, even with the king of the north; and he shall set forth a great multitude, and the multitude shall be given into his hand.
12Huan mipi pimangin a om ding ua, a lungtang sansakin a om ding hi; huchiin sang sawm tampi a puk sak dinga, himahleh a vualzou kei ding hi.
12The multitude shall be lifted up, and his heart shall be exalted; and he shall cast down tens of thousands, but he shall not prevail.
13Huan mallam kumpipa a hongkik dia, ama sanga thupi jaw mipi a hontung khe dia; hunte tawpin a hong kuan dia, kumte mahmah, sepaihte hon thupi leh van tampi toh.
13The king of the north shall return, and shall set forth a multitude greater than the former; and he shall come on at the end of the times, even of years, with a great army and with much substance.
14Huan huai hunte ah simlam kumpipa douin mi tampi a ding khe ding uh; na mite laka hiamgam tate leng mengmuhna hihkip dingin a hongki domkang ding uh; himahleh a puk ding uh.
14In those times there shall many stand up against the king of the south: also the children of the violent among your people shall lift themselves up to establish the vision; but they shall fall.
15Huchibangin mallam kumpipa a hong dia, mualvum a bawldia, khopi hoihtaka um a lading; huan simlam banten a nang kei ding ua, a mi telten leng; nanna dingin hatna himhim leng a om sam kei ding.
15So the king of the north shall come, and cast up a mound, and take a well-fortified city: and the forces of the south shall not stand, neither his chosen people, neither shall there be any strength to stand.
16Himahleh amah dou dia hongpaipan amah deihlam bangin a hih dinga, a ma ah kuamah a ding kei ding; gam thupi ah a ding dinga, huan a khut ah siatna a om ding hi.
16But he who comes against him shall do according to his own will, and none shall stand before him; and he shall stand in the glorious land, and in his hand shall be destruction.
17Huan a gam pumpi hatna toh hongpai dingin a tum chiltel dia, mi diktatte amah hihse dingin, numeite tanunu a kiangah a pe ding; himahleh a ding kei dia, amaha ding a phattuamna ahi sam kei ding hi.
17He shall set his face to come with the strength of his whole kingdom, and with him equitable conditions; and he shall perform them: and he shall give him the daughter of women, to corrupt her; but she shall not stand, neither be for him.
18Hiai khitin tuikulh lam a nga dia, tampi a la ding hi; himahleh lalin a misimmoh na a tawp sak ding; ahi, huai bangah, a misimmohna a mah tungah a kibung sak ding hi.
18After this shall he turn his face to the islands, and shall take many: but a prince shall cause the reproach offered by him to cease; yes, moreover, he shall cause his reproach to turn on him.
19Huai hun chiangin amah gam kulhpi lam a ngata dia; himahleh a kisui dia a puk dia, muhin a omta kei ding.
19Then he shall turn his face toward the fortresses of his own land; but he shall stumble and fall, and shall not be found.
20Huai hun chiangin a mun ah mi khat a hongding khe dia, aman leiman khonpa gam thupina a pal suak sak dia; himahleh ni tamlou sungin hihsiatin a om dia, hehna ah hilouin, kidounaah leng hisam louin.
20Then shall stand up in his place one who shall cause a tax collector to pass through the kingdom to maintain its glory; but within few days he shall be destroyed, neither in anger, nor in battle.
21Huan a mun ah mi zahpihhuai khat a hongding khe dia, gam zahtakna a piaklouhna pa uh; himahleh bit laiin a hongpai dinga, maitangphatnain gam tuh a mu ding hi.
21In his place shall stand up a contemptible person, to whom they had not given the honor of the kingdom: but he shall come in time of security, and shall obtain the kingdom by flatteries.
22Huan sepaih honte a maah taih mangin a om ding ua, a kek gawp ding uh; ahi, thukhun lalpa leng.
22The overwhelming forces shall be overwhelmed from before him, and shall be broken; yes, also the prince of the covenant.
23Huchiin amah toh pankhawmna kibawl nungin lepchiahtakin thil a hih dinga; a hongkuan tou dia, nam neu chik toh, honghat ding lah ahi ngala.
23After the treaty made with him he shall work deceitfully; for he shall come up, and shall become strong, with a small people.
24Bit hunin bial sunga mun thaupenpente tungah a hongkuan dia; a piputen a hih louh uh a honhilh dia, a piputen leng a hih louh uh; a lak uah samat ding leh gallak te a theh jak dia, vante; ahi, kulh muanhuaite dou dingin a thusawmte a sawm ding hi. ahihhangin hun khat sung kia.
24In time of security shall he come even on the fattest places of the province; and he shall do that which his fathers have not done, nor his fathers’ fathers; he shall scatter among them prey, and spoil, and substance: yes, he shall devise his devices against the strongholds, even for a time.
25Huan sepaih thupi toh simlam kumpipa dou dingin a thilhihtheihna leh a hanna a tok thou dinga; huchiin simlam kumpipan sepaih a thupi a thupi leh hatin kidounaah a dou ding; himahleh a ding kei dia, amah siatna thusawm sawm ding uh a hih jiakin.
25He shall stir up his power and his courage against the king of the south with a great army; and the king of the south shall war in battle with an exceeding great and mighty army; but he shall not stand; for they shall devise devices against him.
26A hi, a an neten amah a hihmang ding ua, a sepaihte phiat mangin a om ding uh; huchiin tampi thahsa in a puk ding uh.
26Yes, they who eat of his dainties shall destroy him, and his army shall overflow; and many shall fall down slain.
27Huan hiai kumpipate gel a hih uleh, a lungtang uh gilou hih ding ahi a, dohkan khatah juaute a gen ding uhi; himahleh a lohching kei dia; tawpna lah hun sehsaa tung ding ahi lai ngala.
27As for both these kings, their hearts shall be to do mischief, and they shall speak lies at one table: but it shall not prosper; for yet the end shall be at the time appointed.
28Huai hun chiangin van thupi toh a gam lamah a kik nawn dia; huchiin a lungtangin thukhun siangthou a dou ding; a utut a hih dinga, amah gam ngeiah a kik nawn ding.
28Then shall he return into his land with great substance; and his heart shall be against the holy covenant; and he shall do his pleasure, and return to his own land.
29Hun sehsa ah a kik nawn dia, simlam ah a hongpai dia; himahleh hunmasaa bang hun nanung ah ahi kei ding hi.
29At the time appointed he shall return, and come into the south; but it shall not be in the latter time as it was in the former.
30Amah dou dia Kittim loingte hong pai ding a hih jiakin; huaijiakin a dah dinga, a kik nawn dia; thukhun siangthou tungah thangpaihna a nei dinga, a utut a hih ding hi; a hong nawn ngeingei dia, thukhun siangthou mangngilhte a lim sak ding hi.
30For ships of Kittim shall come against him; therefore he shall be grieved, and shall return, and have indignation against the holy covenant, and shall do his pleasure: he shall even return, and have regard to those who forsake the holy covenant.
31Amah lamah sepaihte apang ding ua, mun siangthoupen a buahsak ding ua, kulhpi mahmah; halmang thillate gige a la mang ding ua hun hihgawp dingin kihhuai a tungkhe ding uhi.
31Forces shall stand on his part, and they shall profane the sanctuary, even the fortress, and shall take away the continual burnt offering , and they shall set up the abomination that makes desolate.
32Huan thukhun kalah giloutaka hih huchibangte aman mai tangphatnatein a hekkawi dia; himahleh mi a Pathian uh theite bel a hat ding ua, thilhih minthangpente a hih ding uhi.
32Such as do wickedly against the covenant shall he pervert by flatteries; but the people who know their God shall be strong, and do exploits .
33Huchiin mite laka pilten tampi a thuhilh ding ua; himahleh, ni tampi, namsau leh meikuang, saltanna leh lohin a puk ding uhi.
33Those who are wise among the people shall instruct many; yet they shall fall by the sword and by flame, by captivity and by spoil, many days.
34Huan a puk chiang un, panpihna tawma panpih ahi ding uh; himahleh maitangphatnate toh mi tampiin amau a kizoppih ding uh.
34Now when they shall fall, they shall be helped with a little help; but many shall join themselves to them with flatteries.
35A lak ua pilte a puk ding ua, amaute bawlhoih ding leh, siangthou sak ding leh, amaute ngou sak dingin, tawp hun tan pha hialin; hun sehsaa ding a hih lai jiakin.
35Some of those who are wise shall fall, to refine them, and to purify, and to make them white, even to the time of the end; because it is yet for the time appointed.
36Huan kumpipan a deihlam bangin a hih dia; a kilian sak dinga, pathian chiteng tungah a kikoih lian dia, pathiante Pathian demin thil lamdangte a gen ding hi; thangpaihna a pichinmatan a loh ching ding; tup chintensa lah hih ding ahi ngala.
36The king shall do according to his will; and he shall exalt himself, and magnify himself above every god, and shall speak marvelous things against the God of gods; and he shall prosper until the indignation be accomplished; for that which is determined shall be done.
37A pipute pathiante lah a zahtak kei dia, numeite lunggulh leng, pathian himhim leng a zahtak kei ding; mi tengteng tunga amah kilian sak ding ahi ngala.
37Neither shall he regard the gods of his fathers, nor the desire of women, nor regard any god; for he shall magnify himself above all.
38Himahleh a mun ah kulhte pathian a zahtak dia; pathian a pipute a theih louh na aman dangkaeng leh, dangka leh, suang mantamte leh, thil nuamtein a zahtak ding hi.
38But in his place shall he honor the god of fortresses; and a god whom his fathers didn’t know shall he honor with gold, and silver, and with precious stones, and pleasant things.
39Huan pathian lamdang panpihnain kulh muanhuaipen pente a sual dinga; kuapeuh amah hihna pom thupinain a pung ding; tampi tunga vaihawm dingin a bawl dia, man neiin gam tuh a hawm ding hi.
39He shall deal with the strongest fortresses by the help of a foreign god: whoever acknowledges him he will increase with glory; and he shall cause them to rule over many, and shall divide the land for a price.
40Huan tawpna hun chiangin sim lam kumpipan amah a kidou pih ding; huan mallam kumpipa amah dou dingin pingpei bangin, kangtalaite toh, sakol tung tuangmite toh, long tampi toh a hong ding; huchiin gamte ah a lut dia, a dimlet dia a pai suak ding hi.
40At the time of the end shall the king of the south contend with him; and the king of the north shall come against him like a whirlwind, with chariots, and with horsemen, and with many ships; and he shall enter into the countries, and shall overflow and pass through.
41Gam thupi leng a lut dinga, huchiin gam tampi zohin a om ding hi; himahleh hiaite a khuta kipan suahtaksakin a om ding hi, Edom leh Moab leh Ammon tate hausapa.
41He shall enter also into the glorious land, and many countries shall be overthrown; but these shall be delivered out of his hand: Edom, and Moab, and the chief of the children of Ammon.
42Gamt tungah leng a khut a zan dinga; huan Aigupta gam a suakta kei ding hi.
42He shall stretch forth his hand also on the countries; and the land of Egypt shall not escape.
43Himahleh dangkaeng leh dangka goute tung leh, Aigupta thil manphate tengteng tungah thilhihtheihna a nei dia; huan Libia mite leh Ethiopia mite a kalsuanna ah a om ding uhi.
43But he shall have power over the treasures of gold and of silver, and over all the precious things of Egypt; and the Libyans and the Ethiopians shall be at his steps.
44Himahleh suahlam akipan leh mallam akipana tanchinten amah a hihbuai dia; thangpaihna thupi mi tampi suse ding leh hih mang dingin a kuan khe ding.Huan thupi leh mual siangthou thupi kikalah a inpi puaninte a kai dinga, hiamhleh a tawpna a hongtung dia, kuamahin amah a panpih kei ding uh.
44But news out of the east and out of the north shall trouble him; and he shall go forth with great fury to destroy and utterly to sweep away many.
45Huan thupi leh mual siangthou thupi kikalah a inpi puaninte a kai dinga, hiamhleh a tawpna a hongtung dia, kuamahin amah a panpih kei ding uh.
45He shall plant the tents of his palace between the sea and the glorious holy mountain; yet he shall come to his end, and none shall help him.
