¹Huan TOUPA thu ka kiangah a hongtung nawna,

¹The word of Yahweh came to me, saying,

²Mihing tapa, Israel jawlnei, mah lungtang kia akipana gen chingte tungah thu gen inla, TOUPA thu ngai un, TOUPA PATHIANIN hichiin a chi ahi.

²Son of man, prophesy against the prophets of Israel who prophesy, and say to those who prophesy out of their own heart, Hear the word of Yahweh:

³Jawlnei hai, amau ngaihdan juia, bangmah lah mu ngal loute a tung uh a gik hi:

³Thus says the Lord Yahweh, Woe to the foolish prophets, who follow their own spirit, and have seen nothing!

⁴Aw Israel, na jawlneite kho Tulsa sehal bang lel a hita uh.

⁴Israel, your prophets have been like foxes in the waste places.

⁵TOUPA nia kidounaa ding zou dingin a vana tak na phu ngam kei ua, Israel inkote human ah lah n aphatuam sam kei uh.

⁵You have not gone up into the gaps, neither built up the wall for the house of Israel, to stand in the battle in the day of Yahweh.

⁶TOUPA thu pawt ahi chimiten bangmah lou lel leh gen kholhna lim lel a tang ua, TOUPA sawl ahi kei himhim uhi; a thu uh hi ngei ding bangin mite a gingta sak ua.

⁶They have seen falsehood and lying divination, who say, Yahweh says; but Yahweh has not sent them: and they have made men to hope that the word would be confirmed.

⁷Kilakna hongvuaksuak lel na mu un, thu gen kholh dik lou na gen uh ahi kei maw? TOUPA thupawt ahi na chi nawn ngal ua, kenlah ka gen het kei a.

⁷Haven’t you seen a false vision, and haven’t you spoken a lying divination, in that you say, Yahweh says; but I have not spoken?

⁸Huaijiakin TOUPA PATHIANIN hichiin a chi ahi: Bangmah lou phet na gen ua juau lel na muh jiak un, ngai un, ka hon nang ahi, chih TOUpa thu pawt ahi.

⁸Therefore thus says the Lord Yahweh: Because you have spoken falsehood, and seen lies, therefore, behold, I am against you, says the Lord Yahweh.

⁹Huan ka khutin bangmahlou mute leh juau gen kholmite a nang dinga, ka mite kidot khawmna ah a tel kei ding ua, Israel innkuante min gelhna ah gelhin a om sam kei ding; huchiin TOUPA PATHIANIN ka hi chih na thei ding uh.

⁹My hand shall be against the prophets who see false visions, and who divine lies: they shall not be in the council of my people, neither shall they be written in the writing of the house of Israel, neither shall they enter into the land of Israel; and you shall know that I am the Lord Yahweh.

¹⁰Galmuan om lou pia, Muan huai e, chia mite a pi mang jiak un leh mi bang bawla, sunu nuhmiten,

¹⁰Because, even because they have seduced my people, saying, Peace; and there is no peace; and when one builds up a wall, behold, they plaster it with whitewash:

¹¹A ke nawn mai ding, vuahpi a hongzu dinga, nou gial lian pite aw, na hongke ding ua, huih thupiin a hihse ding, chiin.

¹¹tell those who plaster it with whitewash, that it shall fall: there shall be an overflowing shower; and you, great hailstones, shall fall; and a stormy wind shall tear it.

¹²Huan, Ngai un, bang a chip khit chiangin, Na sunu nuh uh koiah, a honchi kei ding ua hia?

¹²Behold, when the wall has fallen, shall it not be said to you, Where is the plaster with which you have plastered it?

¹³Huaijiakin TOUPA PATHIANIN hichiin a chi ahi: Ka hehin huihpi thupiin ka hihsevek ding, ka hehin gial thupi tak hihmang dingin a hongke ding.

¹³Therefore thus says the Lord Yahweh: I will even tear it with a stormy wind in my wrath; and there shall be an overflowing shower in my anger, and great hailstones in wrath to consume it.

¹⁴Huchiin sunu na nuh ngou bang uh ka chim sak dinga, lei phain a chim dia, huchiin a suangphumte a dawk hial ding hi: huan a chim dinga, bang chim ah hihmangin na om ding uh; huchiin TOUPA ka hi chih na thei ding uh.

¹⁴So will I break down the wall that you have plastered with whitewash, and bring it down to the ground, so that its foundation shall be uncovered; and it shall fall, and you shall be consumed in its midst: and you shall know that I am Yahweh.

¹⁵Hichibangin bang tungah leh sunu nuhmite tungah ka hehna ka lungdam sak ding; huan, Bang a om nawn keia, a belmite leng a om nawn ta kei uh, ka honchi ding hi.

¹⁵Thus will I accomplish my wrath on the wall, and on those who have plastered it with whitewash; and I will tell you, The wall is no more, neither those who plastered it;

¹⁶Huai bel Israel jawlnei Jerusalem tung thu gena, galmuanna om lou pia galmuanna musakmite ngei, a om nawn kei uh, chih TOUPA PATHIAN thu pawt ahi.

¹⁶to wit, the prophets of Israel who prophesy concerning Jerusalem, and who see visions of peace for her, and there is no peace, says the Lord Yahweh.

¹⁷Huan, nang mihing tapa, na mite tanute, a lungtang lel ua genmite masuan inla, amau kalhin thu genin, TOUPA PATHIANIN hichiin a chi ahi:

¹⁷You, son of man, set your face against the daughters of your people, who prophesy out of their own heart; and prophesy against them,

¹⁸Numei, mite bana sik bunsak lehmi hinnate mat belhna dinga mi lian mite lu khuhna khuimite a tung uh a gik hi: Nou hinna dingin ka mite hinna na man ding uh maw?

¹⁸and say, Thus says the Lord Yahweh: Woe to the women who sew pillows on all elbows, and make kerchiefs for the head of persons of every stature to hunt souls! Will you hunt the souls of my people, and save souls alive for yourselves?

¹⁹Buhman tawmchik leh tanghou them mu dinga si lou ding sisak ding leh hing lou ding hingsak dingin na juau gen uh ka miten a up jiak un ka mite lakah ka min a thanghuai ahi.

¹⁹You have profaned me among my people for handfuls of barley and for pieces of bread, to kill the souls who should not die, and to save the souls alive who should not live, by your lying to my people who listen to lies.

²⁰Huaijiakin TOUPA PATHIANIN hichiin a chi a: Ngai un, mi hinna, vasa banga man dinga na thil but sakte uh k amudah ahi; na bante uh ka bot dinga, na mi mat dingte uh hinna ka pawt sak vek ding; vasa banga na mat dingte uh hinna.

²⁰Therefore thus says the Lord Yahweh: Behold, I am against your pillows, with which you there hunt the souls to make them fly, and I will tear them from your arms; and I will let the souls go, even the souls whom you hunt to make them fly.

²¹Na lukhuhnate uh leng ka botkek dinga, ka mite na khut ua kipan ka suakta sak ding, na mat theih ding un na khut uah a omta kei ding uh; huchiin TOUPA ka hi chih na thei ding uh.

²¹Your kerchiefs also will I tear, and deliver my people out of your hand, and they shall be no more in your hand to be hunted; and you shall know that I am Yahweh.

²²Kei lungkham sak hi loua, mi diktatte lungtang juaua na hihnat jiak un leh mi gilou hingdama a omna dinga a khelhna lampia kipan kilehhei louhna dingin mi gilou khutte na hihhat ua,Huaijiakin bangmahlou lel, thu genkhawl diklou hiam jaw na mu nawn himhim kei ding uh; huan ka mite na khut ua kipan ka hun khe dinga, TOUPA ka hi chih na thei ding uh, a chi, chiin gen in, achi a.

²²Because with lies you have grieved the heart of the righteous, whom I have not made sad; and strengthened the hands of the wicked, that he should not return from his wicked way, and be saved alive:

²³Huaijiakin bangmahlou lel, thu genkhawl diklou hiam jaw na mu nawn himhim kei ding uh; huan ka mite na khut ua kipan ka hun khe dinga, TOUPA ka hi chih na thei ding uh, a chi, chiin gen in, achi a.

²³Therefore you shall no more see false visions, nor practice divination. I will deliver my people out of your hand; and you shall know that I am Yahweh.
