Ezekiel

2

1Huan ka kiangah, Mihing tapa, na khein dingin na kiangah thu ka gen sin hi, a chi a.
1He said to me, Son of man, stand on your feet, and I will speak with you.
2Huan ka kianga thu a gen laiin kha keiah a hongluta, ka khein a honding saka, huan kei honhoupihpa ka ngaikhia hi.
2The Spirit entered into me when he spoke to me, and set me on my feet; and I heard him who spoke to me.
3Huan ka kiangah, Mihing tapa, Israel tate kiangah, helhat nam, ka tunga hel sekte kiangah ka honsawl hi: amau leh a pipute un leng hiai ni pha nangawnin ka tungah a talek sek uhi.
3He said to me, Son of man, I send you to the children of Israel, to a nation of rebels who have rebelled against me. They and their fathers have transgressed against me even to this very day.
4Suan paupeng leh genhakte ahi ua, a kiang uah nang ka honsawl hi; huan, a kiang uah, TOUPA Pathianin hichiin a chi, na chi ding ahi.
4The children are impudent and stiff-hearted: I am sending you to them; and you shall tell them, Thus says the Lord Yahweh.
5Huan amau a ngaikhia uhiam, a ngaikhe kei uhiam (helhat lah a hingal ua), a lak uah jawlnei a om chih a theigige ding uhi.
5They, whether they will hear, or whether they will forbear, (for they are a rebellious house), yet shall know that there has been a prophet among them.
6Huan nang, mihing tapa, amaute kihta kenla, a thu uah leng lunglel sam ken, na kiangah khaulingnei leh loulingneite omin, aikam laka teng himah lechin: helhat mi hi mah le uh, a thu uh kihta kenla, a latdan uah leng lunglel sam ken.
6You, son of man, don’t be afraid of them, neither be afraid of their words, though briers and thorns are with you, and you do dwell among scorpions: don’t be afraid of their words, nor be dismayed at their looks, though they are a rebellious house.
7Huan a ngaikhia uhiam, a ngaikhe kei uhiam, a kiang uah ka thu na gen ding ahi: helhat tak lah ahi ngal ua.
7You shall speak my words to them, whether they will hear, or whether they will forbear; for they are most rebellious.
8Himahleh nang mihing tapa, na kianga ka gen ngaikhia in; mi helhatte bangin helhat hi tei ken: na kam ka inla, ka honpiak ne in, a chi a.
8But you, son of man, hear what I tell you; don’t be rebellious like that rebellious house: open your mouth, and eat that which I give you.
9Huan ka ena ngaiin, khutin a honsawka, huan ngaiin huaiah laibu jial a oma;Ka maah a phalha, a sunglam leh a polam gelh ahi; khanate, lusunna te tunggikna te gelhna a om hi.
9When I looked, behold, a hand was put forth to me; and, behold, a scroll of a book was therein;
10Ka maah a phalha, a sunglam leh a polam gelh ahi; khanate, lusunna te tunggikna te gelhna a om hi.
10He spread it before me: and it was written within and without; and there were written therein lamentations, and mourning, and woe.
