24

1Kum kuana, kha sawmna, huai kha, ni sawm niin TOUPA thu ka kiangah a hongtung nawna,
1Again, in the ninth year, in the tenth month, in the tenth day of the month, the word of Yahweh came to me, saying,
2Mihing tapa, ni min, tuni ni min ngei gelhin; hiai ni ngeiin Babulon kumpipan Jerusalem a hongsual pana.
2Son of man, write the name of the day, even of this same day: the king of Babylon drew close to Jerusalem this same day.
3Huan helhat inko kiangah gentehna thu gen inla, a kiang uah, TOUPA PATHIANIN hichiin a chi ahi;
3Utter a parable to the rebellious house, and tell them, Thus says the Lord Yahweh, Set on the caldron, set it on, and also pour water into it:
4Sa-ui bel suang inla, suang thek inla, a sungah tui sung inla: sabakte kha inla, a sa hoih tengteng, a phei te, a liang te, a guhbawk hoih tatain hih dim in.
4gather its pieces into it, even every good piece, the thigh, and the shoulder; fill it with the choice bones.
5Gan honte laka a hoih tata la inla, a nuaiah singkhuah khul ek inla, sou bobolh heh; ahi, a guhbomte kiui heh.
5Take the choice of the flock, and also a pile of wood for the bones under the caldron; make it boil well; yes, let its bones be boiled in its midst.
6Huaijiakin TOUPA PATHIANIN hichiin a chi ahi: Sisan suah hat khopi, saui bel, a sung kang gem, a gem dai ngei nai lou a tung a gik hi: tel tuanlouin, a sa bak khatkhatin thukin.
6Therefore thus says the Lord Yahweh: Woe to the bloody city, to the caldron whose rust is therein, and whose rust is not gone out of it! take out of it piece after piece; No lot is fallen on it.
7A sisan suah lah amah tungah a om ngala, leivui vuh theihna dia leia sun buak gentak louhin suangpi keu tungah a sungbo zota.
7For her blood is in the midst of her; she set it on the bare rock; she didn’t pour it on the ground, to cover it with dust.
8Phu la dinga hehna a hongkisak theihna dingin vuh louhin a sisan suah suangpi keu tungah ka sung ahi.
8That it may cause wrath to come up to take vengeance, I have set her blood on the bare rock, that it should not be covered.
9Huaijiakin TOUPA PATHIANIN hichiin a chi ahi: Sisan suahhat khopi a tung a gik hi: Kei mahmah in ka vum venvon ding.
9Therefore thus says the Lord Yahweh: Woe to the bloody city! I also will make the pile great.
10Sing vum venvon unla, mei chih sa unla, sate ui min unla, sa tui chik takin, a guhte leng kang mang hen.
10Heap on the wood, make the fire hot, boil well the flesh, and make thick the broth, and let the bones be burned.
11Huchiin bel a vuakin meivu tungah suan hi nilouh henla, a hongsa dinga, a dal a hongam dinga, a nitna a hongzul mang dinga, a kang khem a kat mang theihna dingin.
11Then set it empty on its coals, that it may be hot, and its brass may burn, and that its filthiness may be molten in it, that its rust may be consumed.
12Chimtak khopa sualin leng a kang khem a siang tuan keia, meiin leng akang siang sam kei.
12She has wearied herself with toil; yet her great rust doesn’t go forth out of her; her rust doesn’t go forth by fire.
13Na nitna hukna ahi a, ka honkhuaha, na sian tuan louh jiakin na tungah ka hehna ka lungdam sak ma teng chikchiang mah inleng na nitna akipan khuahsiang na hi nawnta kei ding hi.
13In your filthiness is lewdness: because I have cleansed you and you weren’t cleansed, you shall not be cleansed from your filthiness any more, until I have caused my wrath toward you to rest.
14Kei TOUPAN ka chita ahi, a hong tung mahmah ding, ken ka hih ding, ka nungkin kei dinga, ka hawi sam kei dinga, ka lunghei sam kei ding; na omdante leh na thil hih bang zelin vai a honhawm sak ding uh, chih TOUPA PATHIAN thu pawt ahi, chi in, a chi a.
14I, Yahweh, have spoken it: it shall happen, and I will do it: I will not go back, neither will I spare, neither will I repent; according to your ways, and according to your doings, shall they judge you, says the Lord Yahweh.
15Huan, TOUPA thu ka kiangah a hongtung nawna, ka kiangah,
15Also the word of Yahweh came to me, saying,
16mihing tapa, ngai in, thakhatin na mit taina pen ka honlaksak dinga, na sun dinga hi kei dia, na kah ding leng ahi sam kei, na khitui leng a kiak dinga hikei hi.
16Son of man, behold, I will take away from you the desire of your eyes with a stroke: yet you shall neither mourn nor weep, neither shall your tears run down.
17Asimin thum inla, misi sunna himhim nei ken, na dial khim inla, na khedap bulh inla, na muk hum kenla, mite an leng ne ken, a chi a.
17Sigh, but not aloud, make no mourning for the dead; bind your headdress on you, and put your shoes on your feet, and don’t cover your lips, and don’t eat men’s bread.
18huchiin zingsang lamin mipite kiangah thu ka gena, nitak lamin ka zi a si mai maha; huan, zingsang lamin a honthu piak bangin ka hi.
18So I spoke to the people in the morning; and at even my wife died; and I did in the morning as I was commanded.
19huan miten ka kiangah, hichibang na thilhihte kou ding in bang ahia a hih nah on hilh sin ka hia? Achi ua.
19The people said to me, Won’t you tell us what these things are to us, that you do so?
20huchiin a kiang uah, TOUPA thu ka kiang ah a hong tungta.
20Then I said to them, The word of Yahweh came to me, saying,
21Israel inkote kiang ah gen inla, TOUPA PATHIANIN hichiin achi ahi: ngai unla ka mun siangthou, na hatna suan pen uh, na mit taina pen uh, na deihlam pen uh ka hih niin sin ahi; huan na tanute uh; na tapate uh, nunglam a na nutsiatte uh namsau in apuk ding uh.
21Speak to the house of Israel, Thus says the Lord Yahweh: Behold, I will profane my sanctuary, the pride of your power, the desire of your eyes, and that which your soul pities; and your sons and your daughters whom you have left behind shall fall by the sword.
22ka hih bang geihin na hih tei sin uhi; na muk uh na hum kei ding ua, mite an leng na ne sam kei ding uh.
22You shall do as I have done: you shall not cover your lips, nor eat the bread of men.
23na dialte uh leng na khim ding ua, na khedap uh na bun ding ua: na sun kei ding ua, na kap sam ke ding ua, na thulimlouhnate uah na mangthang ding ua, na kikah tuah ding uh.
23Your tires shall be on your heads, and your shoes on your feet: you shall not mourn nor weep; but you shall pine away in your iniquities, and moan one toward another.
24huchibang in Ezekiel nou ading in etsakna ahi dinga. ahih dan bang zelin na hih ding uh ahi: hiai ahong tun hun chiang in TOUPA PATHIAN kahi chih na thei ding uh, achi ahi, ka chi a.
24Thus Ezekiel shall be a sign to you; according to all that he has done, you will do. When this comes, then you will know that I am the Lord Yahweh.
25Huan, nang mihing tapa, amau a kipan ahatna te uh, athupi kipahnate uh, amit taina pente uh, alung lut pante uh, atanu uhleh atapate uh ka lak mang ni chiang in,
25You, son of man, shall it not be in the day when I take from them their strength, the joy of their glory, the desire of their eyes, and that whereupon they set their heart, their sons and their daughters,
26Huai ni mahmah chiang in a taikhia na kiang a hong pai dinga, ahong theisak sin kei dia hia?huaini chiang in tai khe kiang ah na kam na ka dinga, akiang thu na gen dinga, na dai mang maimah kei ding; huchiin amau ading in etsakna na hi dinga; huan TOUPA kahi chih a thei ding uh, a chi a.
26that in that day he who escapes shall come to you, to cause you to hear it with your ears?
27huaini chiang in tai khe kiang ah na kam na ka dinga, akiang thu na gen dinga, na dai mang maimah kei ding; huchiin amau ading in etsakna na hi dinga; huan TOUPA kahi chih a thei ding uh, a chi a.
27In that day your mouth will be opened to him who has escaped, and you shall speak, and be no more mute: so you will be a sign to them; and they shall know that I am Yahweh.
