8

1Huan, kum gukna, kha gukna, huai kha ni nga niin hichi ahi a, ka in a ka tuta, Juda upate ka maa a tut lai un TOUPA PATHIAN khut ka tungah a hongom a.
1It happened in the sixth year, in the sixth month, in the fifth day of the month, as I sat in my house, and the elders of Judah sat before me, that the hand of the Lord Yahweh fell there on me.
2Huchiin ka ena, ngaiin, mi mei banga kimu a hongoma; a kawng chiang nuai lam hi dia kilawm mei bang ahi a; a kawng chiang tunglam bel khina banga, vak tak ahi.
2Then I saw, and behold, a likeness as the appearance of fire; from the appearance of his waist and downward, fire; and from his waist and upward, as the appearance of brightness, as it were glowing metal.
3Huan khut bang a hon sawk khiaa, ka tal samin a honmanta hi, khain lei leh van kalah a hondom kang taa, Pathian kilaknain Jerusalemah a honpi hi, Jerusalem mallam huang sungnung kongpi khakna chinah a hontuntaa, huailaiah mullitna lim tutna mun a oma, huaiin a mullit sak sek hi.
3He put forth the form of a hand, and took me by a lock of my head; and the Spirit lifted me up between earth and the sky, and brought me in the visions of God to Jerusalem, to the door of the gate of the inner court that looks toward the north; where there was the seat of the image of jealousy, which provokes to jealousy.
4Huan, ngaiin, phaijanga ka muh bangjelin huaiah Israel Pathian thupina a om hi.
4Behold, the glory of the God of Israel was there, according to the appearance that I saw in the plain.
5Huchiin aman ka kiangah, Mihing tapa, mallam ngain na mit suan dih ve leh, a chi a. Huchiin mallam ngain ka mit ka suana, ngaiin, maitam kongpi mallam lutna ah hiai mullitna lim a naoma.
5Then he said to me, Son of man, lift up your eyes now the way toward the north. So I lifted up my eyes the way toward the north, and see, northward of the gate of the altar this image of jealousy in the entry.
6Huan aman ka kiangah, Mihing tapa, a thilhih uh na mu hia? Israel inkoten thil kihhuai mahmah, hiaia a hih ngei uh, ka in siangthou akipana gamlaa ka pai mangna dia a hih uh? ahihhangin thildang kihhuai jaw na mu nawn lai ding, a chi a.
6He said to me, Son of man, do you see what they do? even the great abominations that the house of Israel do commit here, that I should go far off from my sanctuary? But you shall again see yet other great abominations.
7Huan um sung lutnaah a honpi a; huan ka ena, bangah vang a naom a.
7He brought me to the door of the court; and when I looked, behold, a hole in the wall.
8Huchiin ka kiangah, Mihing tapa, huai bang honkhuak dih, a chi a. Huan ka khuak leh kongkhak a naom zen houh a.
8Then he said to me, Son of man, dig now in the wall: and when I had dug in the wall, behold, a door.
9Huan aman ka kiangah, Lut inla, hiaia khelhna kihhuai tak a hih uh en dih, a chi a.
9He said to me, Go in, and see the wicked abominations that they do here.
10Huchiin ka luta, ka mua, ngai in, thil hing chi chih limte, gamsa kihhuai limte, Israel inkote milim tengtengte bangah a kimvelin a natuang hi.
10So I went in and saw; and see, every form of creeping things, and abominable animals, and all the idols of the house of Israel, portrayed around on the wall.
11Huan a ma uah Israel inkuan, upate laka mi sawmsagihte a ding ua, a lai tak uah Sephan tapa Jaazania a dinga, mi chihin belhbu a tawi chiat ua; huan gimlim khu gim a jam tou ngoingoi hi.
11There stood before them seventy men of the elders of the house of Israel; and in their midst stood Jaazaniah the son of Shaphan, every man with his censer in his hand; and the odor of the cloud of incense went up.
12Huchiin ka kiangah, Mihing tapa, Israel inkuan upate mial nuaia thilhih na mu hia? Michihin milim dantana a hih uh? TOUPAN a honmu keia, TOUPAN gam a paisanta aka, a chi ngal ua.
12Then he said to me, Son of man, have you seen what the elders of the house of Israel do in the dark, every man in his rooms of imagery? for they say, Yahweh doesn’t see us; Yahweh has forsaken the land.
13A thilhih uh kihhuai sem dang leng na mu nawn lai ding, ka kiangah a chi lai hi.
13He said also to me, You shall again see yet other great abominations which they do.
14Huchiin TOUPA in mallam panglutna kongkhak ah a hon pia, huan, ngai dih, huaiah numeite Tamus ngaiin kapin a tu ua.
14Then he brought me to the door of the gate of Yahweh’s house which was toward the north; and see, there sat the women weeping for Tammuz.
15Huan aman ka kiangah, Aw mihing tapa, hiai na mu hia? hiai sanga kihhuai zo sem na mu nawn lai ding, a chi a.
15Then he said to me, Have you seen this, son of man? You shall again see yet greater abominations than these.
16Huan, TOUPA in um sungnungjaw ah a honpi luta, ngaiin, TOUPA in siangthou kongkhak ah inlim leh maitam kikalah mi sawmnih leh nga TOUPA in siangthou lam nungngata, a maite uh suahlam ngain a naom ua, suahlam ah ni a na bia uhi.
16He brought me into the inner court of Yahweh’s house; and see, at the door of Yahweh’s temple, between the porch and the altar, were about twenty-five men, with their backs toward Yahweh’s temple, and their faces toward the east; and they were worshipping the sun toward the east.
17Huchiin, aman ka kiangah, Hiai na mu hia, aw mihing tapa, a thil kihhuai hih uh, hiaia a hih uh Juda inkote dingin thil neu tham hia? gam lah hiamgamnain a hihdim ua, honhihsak nawn sem ua, a nak uh sawlin ahum ua;Huaijiakin ken leng heh takin ka hih sin ahi; ka mitin a maih kei dia, ka hehpih sam kei ding; aw ngaihtakin ka bilah hong kikou mahle uh ka ngaikhe kei ding, a chi a.
17Then he said to me, Have you seen this, son of man? Is it a light thing to the house of Judah that they commit the abominations which they commit here? for they have filled the land with violence, and have turned again to provoke me to anger: and behold, they put the branch to their nose.
18Huaijiakin ken leng heh takin ka hih sin ahi; ka mitin a maih kei dia, ka hehpih sam kei ding; aw ngaihtakin ka bilah hong kikou mahle uh ka ngaikhe kei ding, a chi a.
18Therefore will I also deal in wrath; my eye shall not spare, neither will I have pity; and though they cry in my ears with a loud voice, yet will I not hear them.
