1Galatia gama mihaite aw, kuan honbumhai a maijena? na mitmuh ngei ua Jesu Kris kilhdena kichian taka latsak a hihhih toh.
1Foolish Galatians, who has bewitched you not to obey the truth, before whose eyes Jesus Christ was openly set forth among you as crucified?
2Hiai leltak kon dong ding: Dan thilhihte jiakin hia Kha tuh na muh uh, na ngaihkhiak ua na gintak jiak un?
2I just want to learn this from you. Did you receive the Spirit by the works of the law, or by hearing of faith?
3Hichitelin na hai umaw? Khaa pan khinta ngalin, sain na khin ding ua hia?
3Are you so foolish? Having begun in the Spirit, are you now completed in the flesh?
4Thil huchi zahzah a thawna thuak na hi umaw? -a thawn hi taktak hita leh.
4Did you suffer so many things in vain, if it is indeed in vain?
5Huan, na kiang ua Kha honpepa leh na lak ua thillamdang hihpan dan thilhihte jiakin hia a hih, na ngaihkhiak ua na gintak jiak un.
5He therefore who supplies the Spirit to you, and works miracles among you, does he do it by the works of the law, or by hearing of faith?
6Abrahamin Pathian a gingtaa, huan, huai ginna tuh diktatnaa simsak a hihtak mahbangin.
6Even as Abraham “believed God, and it was counted to him for righteousness.”
7Huchiin thei un, ginnaa omte, huaite mah tuh Abram tate ahi uhi.
7Know therefore that those who are of faith, the same are children of Abraham.
8Huan, laisiangthouin, Pathianin ginna jiakin Jentelte siamtangsak dingin a kisa chih theikholin, Nangmah ah namte vualjawl sakin a om ding uh, chiin, Abraham kiangah tanchin hoih tuh a nagenkholta hi.
8The Scripture, foreseeing that God would justify the Gentiles by faith, preached the Good News beforehand to Abraham, saying, “In you all the nations will be blessed.” Genesis 12:3; 18:18; 22:18
9Huchiin ginnaa omte tuh ginna nei Abraham toh vualjawl sakin a om sam nak uhi.
9So then, those who are of faith are blessed with the faithful Abraham.
10Dan thilhiha kinga peuhmahte tuh hamse nuaiah a om ngal ua; Dan laibua thugelh tengteng banga hih gige lou peuhmah tuh hamsiatin om hen, chia, gelh ahi ngala.
10For as many as are of the works of the law are under a curse. For it is written, “Cursed is everyone who doesn’t continue in all things that are written in the book of the law, to do them.” Deuteronomy 27:26
11Tuin Pathian mitmuhin kuamah dana siamtang a om kei chih a lang kilkel hi. Ginnaa mi diktat tuh a hing ding, chih a hih jiakin.
11Now that no man is justified by the law before God is evident, for, “The righteous will live by faith.” Habakkuk 2:4
12Himahleh dan tuh ginnaa kinga ahi kei; Huchibanga hihpa tuh huaitein a hing ding, chih ahi jaw.
12The law is not of faith, but, “The man who does them will live by them.” Leviticus 18:5
13Kris tuh ei sika hamsiatin a hongoma, dan hamsiatna akipanin a hontan kheta-Singa khailup peuhmah jaw hamsiat hi hen, chih gelh ahi ngala-
13Christ redeemed us from the curse of the law, having become a curse for us. For it is written, “Cursed is everyone who hangs on a tree,” Deuteronomy 21:23
14Huchia Abraham tunga vulajawlna tuh Kris Jesu jiaka Jentelte tunga hongtun theiha, hucia kha chiam tuh ginna jiaka i muh theih nadingin.
14that the blessing of Abraham might come on the Gentiles through Christ Jesus; that we might receive the promise of the Spirit through faith.
15Unaute aw, mihing hih dan gen leng: mihing thukhun lel leng, hihkipsa nung a phel kei ua, behlap leng a behlap ngeikei uhi.
15Brothers, speaking of human terms, though it is only a man’s covenant, yet when it has been confirmed, no one makes it void, or adds to it.
16Huan, Abraham kiangah ahi, thuchiamte piak a nahih, a chisuan kiangah leng. Mi tampi tungthu gen bangin, Chisuante kiangah leng, a chi keia; mi khat tungthu gen bangin, Nang chisuan kiangah leng, a chi ahi jaw, huai tuh Kris ahi.
16Now the promises were spoken to Abraham and to his seed. He doesn’t say, “To seeds,” as of many, but as of one, “To your seed,” Genesis 12:7; 13:15; 24:7 which is Christ.
17Huan, huchiin ka chi ahi: huai thuchiam tuh bangmahlou suaksaka hihmang dingin, thukhun Pathianin ana hihkipsa tuh, anung kum za li leh kum sawnthum khita hongom danin a hihmang theikei hi.
17Now I say this. A covenant confirmed beforehand by God in Christ, the law, which came four hundred thirty years after, does not annul, so as to make the promise of no effect.
18Gouluah ding tuh dan jiak a hih leh, thuchiam jiak a nahita kei dinga; himahleh, Pathianin thuchiam jiakin ahi, Abraham kiangah a napiak.
18For if the inheritance is of the law, it is no more of promise; but God has granted it to Abraham by promise.
19Ahihkeileh, bangchithua dan tuh om ahia leh? Chisuan, thuchiamna tuh, a hongom masiah tatleknate jiakin behlapin a oma, angelte zanga palai khuta hihkip ahi.
19What then is the law? It was added because of transgressions, until the seed should come to whom the promise has been made. It was ordained through angels by the hand of a mediator.
20Huan palai himhim mi khat lakah palai ahi ngei kei hi; Pathian bel khat ahi.
20Now a mediator is not between one, but God is one.
21Ahihkeileh, danin Pathian thuchiam te a kalh ahia? Kalh lou hial, dan mi hihhingthei himhim piaka omkhin hita leh, diktanna tuh dan jiakin a om ngei ding hi.
21Is the law then against the promises of God? Certainly not! For if there had been a law given which could make alive, most certainly righteousness would have been of the law.
22Himahleh, Jesu Kris gin jiaka thilchiam tuh a gingtate kianga piak a hih theihna dingin laisiangthouin khelhna nuaiah bangkim a khakkhum vekta ahi.
22But the Scriptures imprisoned all things under sin, that the promise by faith in Jesus Christ might be given to those who believe.
23Himahleh, ginna a hongtun main, ginna hongkilang ding ah khakkhumin, dan nuaia ven i nahi uhi.
23But before faith came, we were kept in custody under the law, confined for the faith which should afterwards be revealed.
24Huchiin ginna jiaka siam i tan theihna dingin dan tuh Kris kiang lama honna chilpa ahi hi.
24So that the law has become our tutor to bring us to Christ, that we might be justified by faith.
25Himahleh, tua ginna a hongtun nungin, honchilpa nuaiah i omta kei uhi.
25But now that faith has come, we are no longer under a tutor.
26Kris Jesu gin jiakin Pathian tate na hi vek ngal ua.
26For you are all children of God, through faith in Christ Jesus.
27Na lak ua Krisa baptisluta om peuhmah tuh Krisin na kithuamta ngal ua.
27For as many of you as were baptized into Christ have put on Christ.
28Huaiah tuh Juda mi a om theikeia, Grik mi leng a om theikei; huaiah tuh bawi a om theikeia, bawi lou leng a om theikei; huaiah tuh pasal leh numei leng a om theikei hi. kris Jesu ah na vek un pumkhat na hi ngal ua.Huan, Krisa na hih uleh, Abraham suan, thuchiam banga gouluah dingte na hi uhi.
28There is neither Jew nor Greek, there is neither slave nor free man, there is neither male nor female; for you are all one in Christ Jesus.
29Huan, Krisa na hih uleh, Abraham suan, thuchiam banga gouluah dingte na hi uhi.
29If you are Christ’s, then you are Abraham’s seed and heirs according to promise.
