24

1Huan, TOUPAN a honensaka, ngaidih, thipi bawm nih TOUPA biakin maah a nakitunga, Babulon kumpipa Nebukadnezzarin Judate kumpipa Jekonia, Jehoiakimtapa leh Juda heutute, mi khutsaimte leh siksekmite toh Jerusalem akipana Babulon sal dia a pi nungin.
1Yahweh showed me, and behold, two baskets of figs set before Yahweh’s temple, after that Nebuchadnezzar king of Babylon had carried away captive Jeconiah the son of Jehoiakim, king of Judah, and the princes of Judah, with the craftsmen and smiths, from Jerusalem, and had brought them to Babylon.
2Bawm khat ah theipi hoihtek, theipi min masa bang tak, a oma; bawm dangah bel theipi hoihlou hial, nek tak louh khopa sia a om hi.
2One basket had very good figs, like the figs that are first-ripe; and the other basket had very bad figs, which could not be eaten, they were so bad.
3Huan, TOUPAN ka kiangah, Bang ahia na muh, Jeremia? a chi a. Ken, Theipi, theipi hoih, hoih mahmah; leh a hoihlou, nek tak louh khopa sia, ka chi a.
3Then Yahweh said to me, What do you see, Jeremiah? I said, Figs; the good figs, very good; and the bad, very bad, that can’t be eaten, they are so bad.
4Huan, TOUPA thu ka kiangah a hongtung.
4The word of Yahweh came to me, saying,
5TOUPA Israelte Pathianin hichiin a chi: Juda sal tangte, Kaldaite gama a thatna ding ua ka sawl khiakte, hiai theipi hoih bangin ka en sin hi.
5Thus says Yahweh, the God of Israel: Like these good figs, so will I regard the captives of Judah, whom I have sent out of this place into the land of the Chaldeans, for good.
6A hoihna ding un a tunguah kamit ka tusak dinga, hiai gamah ka pikik nawn ding: amau ka dingsak dinga, ka phel kei ding; ka suan dinga, ka bot kei ding.
6For I will set my eyes on them for good, and I will bring them again to this land: and I will build them, and not pull them down; and I will plant them, and not pluck them up.
7Huan, TOUPA ka hi chih na hontheihna dingin lungtang ka honpe dinga: ka mite ahi ding ua, a Pathian uh ka hi ding: a lungtang tengteng utoh ka kiangah a hongkik sin ngal ua.
7I will give them a heart to know me, that I am Yahweh: and they shall be my people, and I will be their God; for they shall return to me with their whole heart.
8TOUPAN hichiin a chi: Theipi sia, nek tak louh khopa sia bangin Juda kumpipa. Zedekia leh a heutute uh leh Jerusalema nituang hiai gama om laite leh Aigupta gama tengte, ka lehngatsan ngeingei ding:
8As the bad figs, which can’t be eaten, they are so bad, surely thus says Yahweh, So will I give up Zedekiah the king of Judah, and his princes, and the residue of Jerusalem, who remain in this land, and those who dwell in the land of Egypt,
9Haksa taka leitung gam tengteng laka sep lenlen dingin, ka delhmangna tengtenga gensiat leh tehpih leh tai leh hamsiat khum hi dingin ka tawpsan ding.Amau leh a pate uh kianga ka piak gam akipan valh khit a hih pha un a lak uah namsaute, kialte, a kianga ka piak gam akipan valh khit a hih pha un a lak uah namsaute, kialte, hite, ka sawl ding.
9I will even give them up to be tossed back and forth among all the kingdoms of the earth for evil; to be a reproach and a proverb, a taunt and a curse, in all places where I shall drive them.
10Amau leh a pate uh kianga ka piak gam akipan valh khit a hih pha un a lak uah namsaute, kialte, a kianga ka piak gam akipan valh khit a hih pha un a lak uah namsaute, kialte, hite, ka sawl ding.
10I will send the sword, the famine, and the pestilence, among them, until they be consumed from off the land that I gave to them and to their fathers.
