1Then six days before the Passover, Jesus came to Bethany, where Lazarus was, who had been dead, whom he raised from the dead.
2Huan, huaiah amaha din nitakan a bawl ua, Marthain nek a bawl hi, Lazar bel a ankuang umpih khat ahi a.
2So they made him a supper there. Martha served, but Lazarus was one of those who sat at the table with him.
3Huan, Mariin buk kimkhat spiknardi that namtui manpha tak a hontawia, Jesu khete a nuih a, a samin a khete a nula, huchiin huai thau gimin in tuh a dimta hi.
3Mary, therefore, took a pound a Roman pound of 12 ounces, or about 340 grams of ointment of pure nard, very precious, and anointed the feet of Jesus, and wiped his feet with her hair. The house was filled with the fragrance of the ointment.
4Himahleh, Iskariot, Juda, a nungjui khat, a mansak dingpan,
4Then Judas Iscariot, Simon’s son, one of his disciples, who would betray him, said,
5Hiai thau namtui bangdia makhai zathuma juaka mi gentheite kianga pe zolou uh ahia? a chi a.
5“Why wasn’t this ointment sold for three hundred denarii, 300 denarii was about a year’s wages for an agricultural laborer. and given to the poor?”
6Mi gentheite a khotuah jiaka huai theu gen ahi kei; guta ahi a, dangka ip a kem a, a sunga koih a lak jel jiak ahi jaw.
6Now he said this, not because he cared for the poor, but because he was a thief, and having the money box, used to steal what was put into it.
7Huan, Jesun, Hih hen aw. Ka kivui ni-a dinga a sit a zang ahi, sen hen aw.
7But Jesus said, “Leave her alone. She has kept this for the day of my burial.
8Mi gentheite na kiang ua om gige ahi ua, kei bel na kiang ua om gige ding ka hi kei, a chi a.
8 For you always have the poor with you, but you don’t always have me.”

9A large crowd therefore of the Jews learned that he was there, and they came, not for Jesus’ sake only, but that they might see Lazarus also, whom he had raised from the dead.
10Huan, siampu liante Lazar leng hihlum dingin a kikou ua;
10But the chief priests conspired to put Lazarus to death also,
11amah jiaka Judate tampiin a langkai san ua, Jesun a gintak jiakun.
11because on account of him many of the Jews went away and believed in Jesus.
12A jingin, ankuangluinaa hong mipi tampiin, Jesu Jerusalem khua ah a hong ding chih a jak un,

13they took the branches of the palm trees, and went out to meet him, and cried out, “Hosanna “Hosanna” means “save us” or “help us, we pray.” ! Blessed is he who comes in the name of the Lord, Psalm 118:25-26 the King of Israel!”
14Huan, Jesun sabengtung nou a mu a, a tungah a tuang a.
14Jesus, having found a young donkey, sat on it. As it is written,
15Lau ken, Zion tanu; en in, na Kumpipa, sabengtung nou tunga tuangin, a hongding, chih gelh bangin.
15“Don’t be afraid, daughter of Zion. Behold, your King comes, sitting on a donkey’s colt.” Zechariah 9:9

16His disciples didn’t understand these things at first, but when Jesus was glorified, then they remembered that these things were written about him, and that they had done these things to him.
17Huan, Lazar hana kipana a sapkhiakpa, misi laka kipan a kaihthoh laia a kianga mipi omten, a thu a theihpih uhi.
17The multitude therefore that was with him when he called Lazarus out of the tomb, and raised him from the dead, was testifying about it.
18Huaijiakin ahi, mipiten leng amah a vadawn uh, huai thillamdang a hih chih a thei ngal ua.
18For this cause also the multitude went and met him, because they heard that he had done this sign.

19The Pharisees therefore said among themselves, “See how you accomplish nothing. Behold, the world has gone after him.”
20Huan, ankuangluinaa Pathian be dinga hohtoute lakah Grik kuate hiam a om ua;
20Now there were certain Greeks among those that went up to worship at the feast.

21These, therefore, came to Philip, who was from Bethsaida of Galilee, and asked him, saying, “Sir, we want to see Jesus.”
22Philipin Andru a honghilha; huan, Andru leh Philipin Jesu a honghilh uh.
22Philip came and told Andrew, and in turn, Andrew came with Philip, and they told Jesus.
23Huan, Jesun a dawnga, a kiang uah, Mihing Tapa pahtawia a omna ding hun a tungta.
23Jesus answered them, “The time has come for the Son of Man to be glorified.
24Chihtaktakin, chihtaktakin kon hilh ahi, Buh tang leia a kiak a, a sih kei leh, amah kiain a om tawntung hi; a sihin bel, tampiin a gah nak hi.
24 Most certainly I tell you, unless a grain of wheat falls into the earth and dies, it remains by itself alone. But if it dies, it bears much fruit.
25Kuapeuh a hinna itin a magsak a; kuapeuh hiai khovela a hinna ngaineuin khantawna hinna ah a vom gige ahi.
25 He who loves his life will lose it. He who hates his life in this world will keep it to eternal life.

28Pa na min pahtawi in, a chi a. Huchiin vana kipanin aw hongsuaka, Ka pahtawita, ka pahtawi lai ding achia a.
28 Father, glorify your name!” Then there came a voice out of the sky, saying, “I have both glorified it, and will glorify it again.”
29Huan, mipi a kianga dingten huai a ja ua, Vanpi ging ahi, a chi ua; midangten, Angelin amah a houpih ahi, a chi ua.
29The multitude therefore, who stood by and heard it, said that it had thundered. Others said, “An angel has spoken to him.”
30Jesun a dawnga, Huai aw keia dia hongsuak ahi kei, noumaua ding ahi jaw.
30Jesus answered, “This voice hasn’t come for my sake, but for your sakes.
31Tu tuh hiai khovel vaihawmsakna hun ahi; tuin hiai khovel lal paih khiak ahi ding.
31 Now is the judgment of this world. Now the prince of this world will be cast out.
32Huan, leia kipana khai kanga ka om leh, mi tengteng kei mah kiangah ka hip ding, a chi a.
32 And I, if I am lifted up from the earth, will draw all people to myself.”
33Huai thu tuh a sih dingdan theihsakna dia a gen ahi.
33But he said this, signifying by what kind of death he should die.
34Huan, mipin a kiangah, Kris khantawnin a om ding chih dan bu ah ka thei uh, Nang, Mihing Tapa khaikanga om ding ahi, bangchi chiha chi na hia? Huai Mihing Tapa tuh kua ahia? a chi ua, adawng ua.
34The multitude answered him, “We have heard out of the law that the Christ remains forever. Isaiah 9:7; Daniel 2:44 (but see also Isaiah 53:8) How do you say, ‘The Son of Man must be lifted up?’ Who is this Son of Man?”
35Huan, Jesun a kianguah, Vak na lak uah sawt lou a omtadih hi. Vak na neih lai un vak ah khosa un, huchilouin jaw mialin honlap ding hi. Kuapeuh miala khosain a paina a theikei.
35Jesus therefore said to them, “Yet a little while the light is with you. Walk while you have the light, that darkness doesn’t overtake you. He who walks in the darkness doesn’t know where he is going.
36Vak na neih lai un vak gingta un, vak tate na honghih theihna dingun, a chi a. Huai thute Jesun a gena; huan, apaia, amuh louh dingun a buta.
36 While you have the light, believe in the light, that you may become children of light.” Jesus said these things, and he departed and hid himself from them.
37A ma uah huchi tela tam thillamdang hih mahleh, amah a gingta tuan kei ua:
37But though he had done so many signs before them, yet they didn’t believe in him,

38that the word of Isaiah the prophet might be fulfilled, which he spoke, “Lord, who has believed our report? To whom has the arm of the Lord been revealed?” Isaiah 53:1
39Hiai jiakin ahi a gintak theih louh uh, Isaiin.
39For this cause they couldn’t believe, for Isaiah said again,
40Aman a mit uh a hihtaw a, a lung tang uh a hihkhauh a; huchilou injaw a mit un a mu khading ua, a lungtang un a thei kha ding uh, huan, hongkihei nawn khading ua, ken amau ka hihdam khading hi, chih, a gen nawn jiakin.
40“He has blinded their eyes and he hardened their heart, lest they should see with their eyes, and perceive with their heart, and would turn, and I would heal them.” Isaiah 6:10
41Isaiin a thupina a muh leh a tanchin thu agen jiakin huai thu a gen hi.
41Isaiah said these things when he saw his glory, and spoke of him. Isaiah 6:1
42Himahleh, heutute laka nangawn tampiin Jesu a gingta ua; a hihhangin Pharisaite jiakin a kipulak nuam kei uh, huchilou injaw kikhopna in ah a nong kha ding uh:
42Nevertheless even of the rulers many believed in him, but because of the Pharisees they didn’t confess it, so that they wouldn’t be put out of the synagogue,
43Pathian pahtawina sangin mihing pahtawina a deih zo ngal ua.
43for they loved men’s praise more than God’s praise.
44Huan, Jesu a kikou a, Kuapeuh hon gingta tuh kei gingta ahi kei, honsawlpa gingta ahi jaw.
44Jesus cried out and said, “Whoever believes in me, believes not in me, but in him who sent me.

45 He who sees me sees him who sent me.
46Vak dia khovela hong ka hi a, kuapeuh kei hon gingta tuh miala a om louhna ding in.

47 If anyone listens to my sayings, and doesn’t believe, I don’t judge him. For I came not to judge the world, but to save the world.
48Kuapeuh kei hondeih lou a, ka thu gente pom louin, siamlouh tangsak khat a nei ahi, ka thu gen, huai thu mahmahin, ni tawpni chiah amah siamlouh a tang sak ding hi.
48 He who rejects me, and doesn’t receive my sayings, has one who judges him. The word that I spoke, the same will judge him in the last day.
49Keimah phuahtawmin ka gen ngal keia; Pa honsawlpan ka gen ding leh ka hih ding thu a honpe jaw ahi.Amah thupiak khantawna hinna ahi chih ka thei; huaijiakin thu ka gen, Pa honhilh bang jelin ka gen ahi, a chi a.
49 For I spoke not from myself, but the Father who sent me, he gave me a commandment, what I should say, and what I should speak.
50Amah thupiak khantawna hinna ahi chih ka thei; huaijiakin thu ka gen, Pa honhilh bang jelin ka gen ahi, a chi a.
50 I know that his commandment is eternal life. The things therefore which I speak, even as the Father has said to me, so I speak.”
