1Anungin Jesu a paipaha, thu hilh leh Pathian gam Tanchin Hoih tun kawmin kho lian leh kho neute a tawn vialviala; a kiangah sawm leh nihte a om ua,
1It happened soon afterwards, that he went about through cities and villages, preaching and bringing the good news of the Kingdom of God. With him were the twelve,
2Numei kuate hiam dawi jawl dam nawnte leh china dam nawnte toh. Huai numeite tuh Mari a sunga pat dawi sagih pawtna Magdalini a chih uh,
2and certain women who had been healed of evil spirits and infirmities: Mary who was called Magdalene, from whom seven demons had gone out;
3Herod sumkempa Chuza ji Jonna, Sussana leh mi dang tampite toh ahi uh; huaiten amau neihsain amah a khotuah jel uh.
3and Joanna, the wife of Chuzas, Herod’s steward; Susanna; and many others; who served them from their possessions.
4Huan, mipi tampitak a hongkikhawm ua, kho chiha mi a kianga a hong un, gentehnain thu a gena:
4When a great multitude came together, and people from every city were coming to him, he spoke by a parable.
5Buhchithehpa a buh chi theh din a kuana; huan, a theh lain a khen lampi sikah a kia a, min a sik ua, tungleng vasaten a ne zouta uh.
5 “The farmer went out to sow his seed. As he sowed, some fell along the road, and it was trampled under foot, and the birds of the sky devoured it.
6Huan, a khen suang tungah a kia a; huan a pout akin a kawt louh jiakin a vuai pah a.
6 Other seed fell on the rock, and as soon as it grew, it withered away, because it had no moisture.
7Huan, a khen loulingnei lakah a kia a, louin a pou tonpiha, a dep mangta.
7 Other fell amid the thorns, and the thorns grew with it, and choked it.
8Huan, a khen lei hoih ah a kia a, a hongpou a, a leh jain a gahta a, a chi a. Huan, huai thu a gen lain a kikou a, Kuapeuh jakna dinga bilneiin ja uheh, a chi hi.
8 Other fell into the good ground, and grew, and brought forth fruit one hundred times.” As he said these things, he called out, “He who has ears to hear, let him hear!”
9Huan, a nungjuiten a kiang ah, Hiai gentehna thu bang chihna ahia? chiin, a dong ua.
9Then his disciples asked him, “What does this parable mean?”
10Huan, Pathian gam thugukte nou theih dia piak ahia, mi dang kiangah bel gentehna kiaa gen ahi; mu napia a muh theihlouhna ding uleh za napi-a a theihsiam louhna ding un.
10He said, “To you it is given to know the mysteries of the Kingdom of God, but to the rest in parables; that ‘seeing they may not see, and hearing they may not understand.’
11Huai gentehna thu hiai ahi: Buh chi tuh Pathian thu ahi.
11 Now the parable is this: The seed is the word of God.
12Huan, lampi sika te tuh thu zasate ahi uh; huan, diabol a hongpaia, a gin louh ua, hotdam a hih theih louhna ding un a lungtang ua kipan thu tuh a lak mangsak jel.
12 Those along the road are those who hear, then the devil comes, and takes away the word from their heart, that they may not believe and be saved.
13Huan, suang tunga te tuh a jak tak ua thu kipak taka pom pahte ahi ua; himahleh zung himhim a neikei ua, sawtlou chik kia a ging ua, khem hunin a tawp san nak uh.
13 Those on the rock are they who, when they hear, receive the word with joy; but these have no root, who believe for a while, then fall away in time of temptation.
14Huan, loulingnei laka kiate tuh thu zate ahi ua; himahleh a khosak jelna uah damsung khosak ngaihtuahnate, hauhsaknate, nuamsaknaten a depa, a gah piching kei nak uh.
14 That which fell among the thorns, these are those who have heard, and as they go on their way they are choked with cares, riches, and pleasures of life, and bring no fruit to maturity.
15Lei hoih ate bel thu jaa lungtang kizen leh hoih a kem kinken a, kuhkaltaka gah suahte ahi uh.
15 That in the good ground, these are such as in an honest and good heart, having heard the word, hold it tightly, and bring forth fruit with patience.
16Kuamahin khawnvak dein belin a khuh kei uh, lupna nuaiah leng a koih kei uh; a lut peuhmahin a vak a muh theihna dingun a koihna ah a koih jaw uh.
16 “No one, when he has lit a lamp, covers it with a container, or puts it under a bed; but puts it on a stand, that those who enter in may see the light.
17Thang lou ding a im bangmah a om ngal kei a, theih louh ding leh lang lou dinga selguk bangmah a om sam kei.
17 For nothing is hidden, that will not be revealed; nor anything secret, that will not be known and come to light.
18Huchiin, bangchibangin ahia na jak uh pilvang un; kuapeuh a nei tuh piak behlap ahi ding a, kuapeuh a neilou tuh, nei a kichih sun leng lak sak ahi ding, a chi hi.
18 Be careful therefore how you hear. For whoever has, to him will be given; and whoever doesn’t have, from him will be taken away even that which he thinks he has.”
19Huan, a nu leh a unauten Jesu lam a honnaih ua, himahleh mipi jiakin a kiang a hongtung theikei ua.
19His mother and brothers came to him, and they could not come near him for the crowd.
20Huan, Na nu leh na unaute nangmah muh tumin inpua ah ding nilouh ve uh, chiin, a hilh ua.
20It was told him by some saying, “Your mother and your brothers stand outside, desiring to see you.”
21Huan, aman a kiang uah, Hiai Pathian thu jaa gingtate ka nu leh ka unaute ahi uh, a chi a, a dawnga.
21But he answered them, “My mother and my brothers are these who hear the word of God, and do it.”
22Huan, hichi ahi a, huailaiin ni khat tuh longah a tuanga, a nungjuite toh; huan, a kiang uah, Dil gal khat lamah I kai ding, a chi a. Huchiin long a phel ua, a paita ua.
22Now it happened on one of those days, that he entered into a boat, himself and his disciples, and he said to them, “Let’s go over to the other side of the lake.” So they launched out.
23Huan, a pai lai un Jesu a ihmutaa; huan, dilah huihpi a hongnung suka, a long uh tuiin a dim dekdeka, lauhuai piin a omta uh.
23But as they sailed, he fell asleep. A wind storm came down on the lake, and they were taking on dangerous amounts of water.
24Huan, a kiangah a vahoh ua, a phawng ua, Heutupa, Heutupa, mangthang ding ka kei umaw, a chi ua. Huan amah a khanglou-a huih leh tuikihot a taita a; huan, a tawp ua, a daita mai uhi.
24They came to him, and awoke him, saying, “Master, master, we are dying!” He awoke, and rebuked the wind and the raging of the water, and they ceased, and it was calm.
25Huan, a kiang uah, Na ginna uh kaw om ahia? a chi a. Huan, a lau ua, lamdang a sa mahmah ua, Hiai mi kua ahia leh? huih leh tui nangawn thu a piaka, a thu a man uh? a kichi uhi.
25He said to them, “Where is your faith?” Being afraid they marveled, saying one to another, “Who is this, then, that he commands even the winds and the water, and they obey him?”
26Huan, Gaili gam jawn Gerasinte gam a tung ua.
26They arrived at the country of the Gadarenes, which is opposite Galilee.
27Huan, gama a pai khiakin, khuaa mi dawi mat kuahiamin a nadawna; huai mi tuh sawtpi puan himhim silh louin a oma, in himhim ah leng a om keia, han khawng ngen ah a om jaw a.
27When Jesus stepped ashore, a certain man out of the city who had demons for a long time met him. He wore no clothes, and didn’t live in a house, but in the tombs.
28Huan, Jesu a muh takin a kikou a, a maah a khupboha, aw ngaih piin, Jesu, Pathian Tungnungpen Tapa, kei leh nang bang i kizolhna a om a? honhihgim mahmah lou dingin ka honngen ahi, a chi a.
28When he saw Jesus, he cried out, and fell down before him, and with a loud voice said, “What do I have to do with you, Jesus, you Son of the Most High God? I beg you, don’t torment me!”
29Jesun dawi nin tuh huai mi sunga kipana pawt dingin thu a nape khin ngala. Huai mi tuh dawiin a man gige ahi; min khainiang leh kol a bun sak ua, a ching ngitnget ua; himahleh a gakna uh a hihtata, dawiin gamkeu khawngah a delhkhe jel hi.
29For Jesus was commanding the unclean spirit to come out of the man. For the unclean spirit had often seized the man. He was kept under guard, and bound with chains and fetters. Breaking the bands apart, he was driven by the demon into the desert.
30Huan, Jesun, Na min bang ahia? chiin, a donga. Huan, aman, Nuai, a chi a, a sunga dawi tampi a lut jiakin.
30Jesus asked him, “What is your name?” He said, “Legion,” for many demons had entered into him.
31Huan, kokhuk toneiloua pai thu a kiang ua pe lou dingin Jesu kiangah a ngen uh.
31They begged him that he would not command them to go into the abyss.
32Huan, huailaiah tangah vok hon tampi a ta ua; huan, vok sunga lut theihna thu a kiangah a ngen ua. Huan, aman thu a pia a.
32Now there was there a herd of many pigs feeding on the mountain, and they begged him that he would allow them to enter into those. He allowed them.
33Huan, Dawite tuh huai mi sung akipan a pawt ua, vok sungah a lut ua; huan, vok hon tuh tuigei ken ah a tai suk duamduam ua, dil ah a tai lut ua, tuihakin a sita uh.
33The demons came out from the man, and entered into the pigs, and the herd rushed down the steep bank into the lake, and were drowned.
34Huan, a vulten huai thil omdan a mu ua, a tai ua, khuaah leh gamahte khawng a gen ua.
34When those who fed them saw what had happened, they fled, and told it in the city and in the country.
35Huan, Bang a hita a? chia, en dingin a pawt chiat ua; huan, Jesu kiang a hongtun un, dawi pawtsan nung puan silha, lungsim ngeingei puin, Jesu khe bula tu a hongmu ua, huchiin a lauta ua.
35People went out to see what had happened. They came to Jesus, and found the man from whom the demons had gone out, sitting at Jesus’ feet, clothed and in his right mind; and they were afraid.
36Huan, a theiten dawi mat a hihdamdan thu a maute a na hilh ua.
36Those who saw it told them how he who had been possessed by demons was healed.
37Huan a kim Gerasinte gama mi tengtengin, a lau mahmah jiak un, amah tuh a kiang ua kipan pai mang dingin a ngen ua; huan, longah a tuanga, a kik nawnta.
37All the people of the surrounding country of the Gadarenes asked him to depart from them, for they were very much afraid. He entered into the boat, and returned.
38Huan, dawi pawtsan miin Jesu kianga om den a ngena.
38But the man from whom the demons had gone out begged him that he might go with him, but Jesus sent him away, saying,
39Himahleh, Jesun, Na in ah pai inla, Pathianin nang dia thil a honhihsak a thupidan vahilh in, chiin a sawl khia hi. Huchiin, a paia, khopi sung tengteng ah Jesun amah adia thil a hihsak thupidan a tangkou pihta hi.
39 “Return to your house, and declare what great things God has done for you.” He went his way, proclaiming throughout the whole city what great things Jesus had done for him.
40Huan, Jesu a hongkik nawnin Mipiin amah a kipahpih ua; amah a nangak nilouh ngal ua.
40It happened, when Jesus returned, that the multitude welcomed him, for they were all waiting for him.
41Huan, ngai dih, mi khat a min Jaira kikhopna in vaihawmpa a hongpaia, Jesu khebul ah a khupboha, a ina hoh dingin a ngen ngutnguta.
41Behold, there came a man named Jairus, and he was a ruler of the synagogue. He fell down at Jesus’ feet, and begged him to come into his house,

42for he had an only daughter, about twelve years of age, and she was dying. But as he went, the multitudes pressed against him.
43Huan, numei khat kum sawm leh kum nih si pawt a china a sum neih tengteng daktorte lakah zang khintaa, kuamahin a hihdam theih tuan;

44came behind him, and touched the fringe of his cloak, and immediately the flow of her blood stopped.

45Jesus said, “Who touched me?” When all denied it, Peter and those with him said, “Master, the multitudes press and jostle you, and you say, ‘Who touched me?’
46Himahleh, Jesun, Kua hiam in jaw honkhoih ve aw, thilhihtheihna ka sung akipan a pawt chih ka theih jiakin, a chi a.
46But Jesus said, “Someone did touch me, for I perceived that power has gone out of me.”
47Huan, numeiin a kisel theih louh a theihin, ling kawmin a hongpaia, a maah khupbohin a khoih san leh thakhata a damtak dan mi tengteng maah a genkhe ta.
47When the woman saw that she was not hidden, she came trembling, and falling down before him declared to him in the presence of all the people the reason why she had touched him, and how she was healed immediately.
48Huan, aman, a kiangah, Tanu, na ginna dampih hi chia, khamuangtakin pai in, a chi a.
48He said to her, “Daughter, cheer up. Your faith has made you well. Go in peace.”

49While he still spoke, one from the ruler of the synagogue’s house came, saying to him, “Your daughter is dead. Don’t trouble the Teacher.”
50Jesun huai thu a jakin, Lau ken, gingta mai in, huchiin a dam nawn ding, a chi a, a dawnga.
50But Jesus hearing it, answered him, “Don’t be afraid. Only believe, and she will be healed.”
51Huan, in a vatunin, Peter, Johan, Jakob leh naupang nu leh pate kia chih louhngal kuamah lut a phal keia.
51When he came to the house, he didn’t allow anyone to enter in, except Peter, John, James, the father of the child, and her mother.

53They were ridiculing him, knowing that she was dead.

56Her parents were amazed, but he commanded them to tell no one what had been done.
