1Toupa phat un! I Pathian phata lasak a hoih ngal; amah jaw mi deihsak a siama, phat a kilawm him ahi.
1Praise Yah, for it is good to sing praises to our God; for it is pleasant and fitting to praise him.
2Toupan Jerusalem a dingsak nawna; Israel delh khiakte a pi khawm nawn hi.
2Yahweh builds up Jerusalem. He gathers together the outcasts of Israel.
3Khasiate a hihdama, a liamnate utuh a tuam jel hi.
3He heals the broken in heart, and binds up their wounds.
4Aksi tamdan a sima; a min uh a sa chiat jel hi.
4He counts the number of the stars. He calls them all by their names.
5I Toupa a thu[i-a. thilhihtheihna lamah leng hattak ahi; a pilnain tawpin a neikei ding hi.
5Great is our Lord, and mighty in power. His understanding is infinite.

6Yahweh upholds the humble. He brings the wicked down to the ground.

7Sing to Yahweh with thanksgiving. Sing praises on the harp to our God,
8Aman van meipi a khuhsaka, lei adingin vuah a sutuaha, tangte ah loupa a pousak hi.
8who covers the sky with clouds, who prepares rain for the earth, who makes grass grow on the mountains.
9Aman sa kiangah a nekding uh a pe jela, va-aknou hamhamte kiangah toh.
9He provides food for the livestock, and for the young ravens when they call.
10Aman tuh sakol hatna tungah a kipak keia; mihing khe tungte ah leng kipahna himhim a neikei naknak hi.
10He doesn’t delight in the strength of the horse. He takes no pleasure in the legs of a man.
11Toupan amah laute tungah kipahna a nei jela, a chitna lamente tungah.
11Yahweh takes pleasure in those who fear him, in those who hope in his loving kindness.
12Jerusalem aw, Toupa phat un; Zion aw, na Pathian phat in.
12Praise Yahweh, Jerusalem! Praise your God, Zion!
13Aman na kulh kongkhakte kalhna sing tawnte a khauhsaka; na sunga na tate om lah vual a jawl ngala.
13For he has strengthened the bars of your gates. He has blessed your children within you.
14Na gamgi singah lemna a siama; buh hoihpen chiin a honhihdim jel ahi.
14He makes peace in your borders. He fills you with the finest of the wheat.
15A thupiak tuh leiah a sawl khiaa: a thu tuh hattakin a tai hi.
15He sends out his commandment to the earth. His word runs very swiftly.
16Vukju tuh belam mul bangin a pia a; vuk kia vut bangin a theh jak hi.
16He gives snow like wool, and scatters frost like ashes.
17A tui khal tuh tanghou them nen bangin a paikhia: amah votna maah kua ahia ding thei ding?
17He hurls down his hail like pebbles. Who can stand before his cold?
18A thu a sawl khiaa, huaite tuh a huih a nungsaka, huchiin tuite a hongluang jel hi.
18He sends out his word, and melts them. He causes his wind to blow, and the waters flow.
19A thu tuh Jakobte kiangah a langsaka, a thusehte leh a vaihawmte leng Israelte kiangah a langsak jel hi.Aman kua nam tungah mah huchi bangin a hih ngeikeia; a vaihawmte lah a thei sam kei uhi. Toupa tuh phat un!
19He shows his word to Jacob; his statutes and his ordinances to Israel.
20Aman kua nam tungah mah huchi bangin a hih ngeikeia; a vaihawmte lah a thei sam kei uhi. Toupa tuh phat un!
20He has not done this for just any nation. They don’t know his ordinances. Praise Yah!
