¹ هنگامی‌که زمینها را به عنوان میراث بین طایفه‌های اسرائیل تقسیم می‌کنید، یک قسمت باید برای خداوند باشد، درازای آن دوازده و نیم کیلومتر و پهنای آن ده کیلومتر، تمام این زمین مقدّس خواهد بود.

¹And when ye shall divide by lot the land for inheritance, ye shall offer a heave-offering unto Jehovah, a holy portion of the land: the length shall be the length of five and twenty thousand [cubits], and the breadth ten thousand. This shall be holy in all the borders thereof round about.

² در این زمین مربّعی به ضلع دویست و پنجاه متر برای معبد بزرگ و در اطراف این مربّع فضایی باز به پهنای بیست و پنج متر خواهد بود.

²Of this there shall be for the sanctuary five hundred [reeds] by five hundred, square round about; and fifty cubits round about for the suburbs thereof.

³ نیمی از این زمین یعنی قسمتی به درازای دوازده و نیم کیلومتر و پهنای پنج کیلومتر که در آن معبد بزرگ خواهد بود، مقدّس‌ترین مکان خواهد بود.

³And of this measure shalt thou measure the length of five and twenty thousand, and the breadth of ten thousand; and in it shall be the sanctuary, the holy of holies.

⁴ این قسمت مقدّس سرزمین خواهد بود و برای کاهنانی که خداوند را در معبد بزرگ خدمت می‌کنند، در نظر گرفته شده است. در این زمین خانه‌های ایشان و معبد بزرگ خواهد بود.

⁴This is the holy [portion] of the land; it shall be for the priests who do the service of the sanctuary, who draw near to serve Jehovah, and it shall be a place for their houses, and a holy place for the sanctuary.

⁵ نیم دیگر این زمین به لاویانی که در معبد بزرگ کار می‌کنند، تعلّق دارد. شهرهایی نیز برای زیستن ایشان خواهد بود.

⁵And [a space of] five and twenty thousand in length, and ten thousand in breadth, shall the Levites, who do the service of the house, have for themselves, for a possession, for their habitations.

⁶ در کنار زمین مقدّس، قسمتی به پهنای پنج کیلومتر و درازای دوازده و نیم کیلومتر برای شهرهایی که مردم دیگر اسرائیل در آن زیست کنند، خواهد بود.

⁶And ye shall appoint the possession of the city five thousand in breadth, and five and twenty thousand in length, alongside of the holy heave-offering: it shall be for the whole house of Israel.

⁷ همچنین زمینی برای پادشاه سرزمین در نظر گرفته شود. از مرز غربی زمین مقدّس به طرف غرب تا دریای مدیترانه و از مشرق تا مرز شرقی و درازای آن به اندازهٔ درازای سرزمین یکی از طایفه‌های قوم اسرائیل باشد.

⁷And the prince shall have [his portion] on the one side and on the other side of the holy heave-offering and of the possession of the city, over against the holy heave-offering, and over against the possession of the city, from the west side westward, and from the east side eastward; and in length answering to one of the portions [of the tribes] from the west border unto the east border.

⁸ این قسمت، سهم فرمانروایی سرزمین اسرائیل است تا دیگر مردم را سرکوب نکند و بگذارد تا بقیّهٔ زمینها به طایفه‌‌های اسرائیل متعلّق باشد.

⁸As land shall it be his for a possession in Israel; and my princes shall no more oppress my people; but they shall give the land to the house of Israel according to their tribes.

⁹ خداوند متعال می‌فرماید: «ای زمامداران اسرائیل، شما مدّتهاست که گناه ورزیده‌اید، از خشونت و سرکوبی مردم دست بردارید. آنچه را درست و عادلانه است، انجام دهید. شما هرگز نباید مردم مرا از زمین خود بیرون کنید. من، خداوند متعال به شما چنین می‌گویم.

⁹Thus saith the Lord Jehovah: Let it suffice you, princes of Israel! Put away violence and spoil, and execute judgment and justice; take off your exactions from my people, saith the Lord Jehovah.

¹⁰ «همه باید از وزنه و اندازه‌های دقیق استفاده کنید.

¹⁰Ye shall have just balances, and a just ephah, and a just bath.

¹¹ «ایفه که پیمانهٔ مواد خشک و بَت که پیمانه‌ای برای مایعات است به یک اندازه باشد. یعنی حومر که واحد اندازه‌گیری است به این ترتیب باشد: «یک حومر مساوی ده ایفه مساوی ده بَت

¹¹The ephah and the bath shall be of one measure, so that the bath may contain the tenth part of a homer, and the ephah the tenth part of a homer: the measure thereof shall be according to the homer.

¹² «واحد اندازه‌گیری وزن از این قرار باشد: بیست گراه مساوی یک تکه نقره، شصت تکه نقره مساوی یک منا می‌باشد.

¹²And the shekel shall be twenty gerahs; twenty shekels, five and twenty shekels, fifteen shekels, shall be your maneh.

¹³ «مقدار هدایایی که تقدیم می‌کنید به این ترتیب است: یک شصتم محصول جو و گندمی ‌را که برداشت می‌کنید. یک صدم روغن زیتونی که از درختان زیتون به دست می‌آورید. از هر دویست گوسفند، یک گوسفند از چراگاههای اسرائیل. «اینها هدایای آردی و قربانی‌های سوختنی و سلامتی هستند که مردم اسرائیل باید برای کفّارهٔ گناهان خود بیاورند. این امر من، خداوند توانا می‌باشد.

¹³This is the heave-offering which ye shall offer: the sixth part of an ephah out of a homer of wheat, and ye shall give the sixth part of an ephah out of a homer of barley;

¹⁴ «همهٔ مردم اسرائیل باید هدایای خود را به فرمانروای اسرائیل بدهند.

¹⁴and the set portion of oil, by the bath of oil, the tenth part of a bath out of a cor, [which is] a homer of ten baths, for ten baths are a homer;

¹⁵ این مسئولیّت او خواهد بود که حیوانات را برای سوختن، هدایای آردی، هدیهٔ نوشیدنی را برای همهٔ قوم اسرائیل در جشن‌های ماه نو و سبت و دیگر جشن‌ها فراهم آورد. او باید هدایای قربانی گناه، آردی، قربانی سوختنی و هدایای سلامتی را برای کفّارهٔ گناهان قوم اسرائیل تهیّه کند.»

¹⁵and one lamb out of the flock, out of two hundred, from the well-watered pastures of Israel; -- for an oblation, and for a burnt-offering, and for peace-offerings, to make atonement for them, saith the Lord Jehovah.

¹⁶ خداوند متعال می‌فرماید: «در نخستین روزِ نخستین ماه سال، باید گاو نر بی‌عیبی را برای پاکسازی معبد بزرگ، قربانی کنید.

¹⁶All the people of the land shall be [held] to this heave-offering for the prince in Israel.

¹⁷ کاهن مقداری از خون قربانی گناه را بردارد و بر معبد بزرگ و به چهار شاخ قربانگاه و بر پایه‌های دروازه‌های در ورودی حیاط بپاشد.

¹⁷And it shall be the prince's part [to supply] the burnt-offerings, and the oblation, and the drink-offering, at the feasts, and at the new moons, and on the sabbaths, in all the solemnities of the house of Israel: it is he that shall prepare the sin-offering, and the oblation, and the burnt-offering, and the peace-offerings, to make atonement for the house of Israel.

¹⁸ در روز هفتم ماه نیز برای هرکس که ناخواسته یا از روی نادانی گناه کرده باشد همین کار را انجام دهید، بدین‌سان معبد بزرگ را پاک نگاه می‌دارید.

¹⁸Thus saith the Lord Jehovah: In the first [month], on the first of the month, thou shalt take a young bullock, without blemish, and thou shalt purge the sanctuary.

¹⁹ «در چهاردهمین روز نخستین ماه، عید فصح را آغاز خواهید کرد، به مدّت هفت روز همه از نان بدون خمیرمایه خواهند خورد.

¹⁹And the priest shall take of the blood of the sin-offering, and put it upon the posts of the house, and upon the four corners of the settle of the altar, and upon the posts of the gate of the inner court.

²⁰ در روز اول برگزاری جشن، فرمانروا باید گاو نری را برای گناهانِ خود و مردم دیگر قربانی کند.

²⁰So thou shalt do also on the seventh of the month for every one that erreth, and for the simple; and ye shall make atonement for the house.

²¹ در مدّت هفت روز جشن، او باید هفت گاو نر و هفت قوچ بدون عیب، برای قربانی سوختنی قربانی کند و همچنین هر روز یک بُز نر برای قربانی گناه، بگذراند.

²¹In the first [month], on the fourteenth day of the month, ye shall have the passover, a feast of seven days: unleavened bread shall be eaten.

²² برای هر گاو نر و قوچی که قربانی می‌شود باید چهارده کیلو آرد و چهار لیتر روغن زیتون اهدا کند. «در روز پانزدهم ماه هفتم سال، در عید خیمه‌ها که به مدّت هفت روز برگزار می‌شود، فرمانروا باید مانند بالا برای قربانی گناه، قربانی سوختنی، هدایای آردی و روغن را فراهم کند.»

²²And upon that day shall the prince offer for himself and for all the people of the land a bullock for a sin-offering.

²³ «در روز پانزدهم ماه هفتم سال، در عید خیمه‌ها که به مدّت هفت روز برگزار می‌شود، فرمانروا باید مانند بالا برای قربانی گناه، قربانی سوختنی، هدایای آردی و روغن را فراهم کند.»

²³And the seven days of the feast he shall offer a burnt-offering to Jehovah, seven bullocks and seven rams without blemish daily for the seven days; and a he-goat daily for a sin-offering.

²⁴And he shall offer an oblation of an ephah for a bullock, and an ephah for a ram; and oil, a hin for an ephah.

²⁵In the seventh [month], on the fifteenth day of the month, at the feast, shall he do the like seven days, according to the sin-offering, according to the burnt-offering, and according to the oblation, and according to the oil.
