¹Domnul a vorbit lui Moise, şi a zis:

¹Yahweh spoke to Moses, saying,

²,,În ziua întîi a lunii întîi, să întinzi locaşul cortului întîlnirii.

²“On the first day of the first month you shall raise up the tabernacle of the Tent of Meeting.

³Să pui în el chivotul mărturiei, şi înaintea chivotului să atîrni perdeaua dinlăuntru.

³You shall put the ark of the testimony in it, and you shall screen the ark with the veil.

⁴Apoi să aduci masa, şi să pui pe ea cele rînduite. După aceea, să aduci sfeşnicul, şi să -i aşezi candelele.

⁴You shall bring in the table, and set in order the things that are on it. You shall bring in the lampstand, and light its lamps.

⁵Altarul de aur pentru tămîie să -l aşezi înaintea chivotului mărturiei, şi să atîrni perdeaua la uşa cortului.

⁵You shall set the golden altar for incense before the ark of the testimony, and put the screen of the door to the tabernacle.

⁶Să aşezi altarul pentru arderile de tot înaintea uşii locaşului cortului întîlnirii.

⁶“You shall set the altar of burnt offering before the door of the tabernacle of the Tent of Meeting.

⁷Ligheanul să -l aşezi între cortul întîlnirii şi altar, şi să pui apă în el.

⁷You shall set the basin between the Tent of Meeting and the altar, and shall put water therein.

⁸Să aşezi curtea de jur împrejur, şi să pui perdeaua la poarta curţii.

⁸You shall set up the court around it, and hang up the screen of the gate of the court.

⁹Să iei untdelemnul pentru ungere, să ungi cu el cortul şi tot ce cuprinde el, şi să -l sfinţeşti, cu toate uneltele lui; şi va fi sfînt.

⁹“You shall take the anointing oil, and anoint the tabernacle, and all that is in it, and shall make it holy, and all its furniture: and it will be holy.

¹⁰Să ungi altarul pentru arderile de tot şi toate uneltele lui, şi să sfinţeşti altarul; şi altarul va fi prea sfînt.

¹⁰You shall anoint the altar of burnt offering, with all its vessels, and sanctify the altar: and the altar will be most holy.

¹¹Să ungi ligheanul cu piciorul lui, şi să -l sfinţeşti.

¹¹You shall anoint the basin and its base, and sanctify it.

¹²Apoi să aduci pe Aaron şi pe fiii lui la uşa cortului întîlnirii, şi să -i speli cu apă.

¹²“You shall bring Aaron and his sons to the door of the Tent of Meeting, and shall wash them with water.

¹³Să îmbraci pe Aaron cu veşmintele sfinte, să -l ungi, şi să -l sfinţeşti, ca să-Mi facă slujba de preot.

¹³You shall put on Aaron the holy garments; and you shall anoint him, and sanctify him, that he may minister to me in the priest’s office.

¹⁴Să chemi şi pe fiii lui, să -i îmbraci cu tunicile,

¹⁴You shall bring his sons, and put coats on them.

¹⁵şi să -i ungi cum ai uns pe tatăl lor, ca să-Mi facă slujba de preoţi. În puterea acestei ungeri, ei vor avea pururea dreptul preoţiei, printre urmaşii lor.``

¹⁵You shall anoint them, as you anointed their father, that they may minister to me in the priest’s office. Their anointing shall be to them for an everlasting priesthood throughout their generations.”

¹⁶Moise a făcut întocmai cum îi poruncise Domnul; aşa a făcut.

¹⁶Moses did so. According to all that Yahweh commanded him, so he did.

¹⁷În ziua întîi a lunii întîi a anului al doilea, cortul era aşezat.

¹⁷It happened in the first month in the second year, on the first day of the month, that the tabernacle was raised up.

¹⁸Moise a aşezat cortul; i -a pus picioarele, a aşezat scîndurile şi verigile, şi a ridicat stîlpii.

¹⁸Moses raised up the tabernacle, and laid its sockets, and set up its boards, and put in its bars, and raised up its pillars.

¹⁹A întins învelitoarea care slujea de acoperiş deasupra cortului, şi pe deasupra a pus învelitoarea acoperişului cortului, cum poruncise lui Moise Domnul.

¹⁹He spread the covering over the tent, and put the roof of the tabernacle above on it, as Yahweh commanded Moses.

²⁰Apoi a luat mărturia, şi a pus -o în chivot; a pus drugii la chivot, şi a aşezat capacul ispăşirii deasupra chivotului.

²⁰He took and put the testimony into the ark, and set the poles on the ark, and put the mercy seat above on the ark.

²¹A adus chivotul în cort; a atîrnat perdeaua despărţitoare înaintea lui, şi a acoperit astfel chivotul mărturirei, cum poruncise lui Moise Domnul.

²¹He brought the ark into the tabernacle, and set up the veil of the screen, and screened the ark of the testimony, as Yahweh commanded Moses.

²²A aşezat masa în cortul întîlnirii, în partea de miazănoapte a cortului, dincoace de perdeaua dinlăuntru;

²²He put the table in the Tent of Meeting, on the side of the tabernacle northward, outside of the veil.

²³şi a pus pe ea pînile, înaintea Domnului, cum poruncise lui Moise Domnul.

²³He set the bread in order on it before Yahweh, as Yahweh commanded Moses.

²⁴Apoi a aşezat sfeşnicul în cortul întîlnirii, în faţa mesei, în partea de miazăzi a cortului;

²⁴He put the lampstand in the Tent of Meeting, opposite the table, on the side of the tabernacle southward.

²⁵şi i -a aşezat candelele, înaintea Domnului, cum poruncise lui Moise Domnul.

²⁵He lit the lamps before Yahweh, as Yahweh commanded Moses.

²⁶Apoi a aşezat altarul de aur în cortul întîlnirii în faţa perdelei dinlăuntru;

²⁶He put the golden altar in the Tent of Meeting before the veil;

²⁷a ars pe el tămîie mirositoare, cum poruncise lui Moise Domnul.

²⁷and he burnt incense of sweet spices on it, as Yahweh commanded Moses.

²⁸A aşezat perdeaua la uşa cortului.

²⁸He put up the screen of the door to the tabernacle.

²⁹A aşezat altarul pentru arderile de tot la uşa locaşului cortului întîlnirii; şi a adus pe el arderea de tot şi jertfa de mîncare, cum poruncise lui Mosie Domnul.

²⁹He set the altar of burnt offering at the door of the tabernacle of the Tent of Meeting, and offered on it the burnt offering and the meal offering, as Yahweh commanded Moses.

³⁰A aşezat ligheanul între cortul întîlnirii şi altar, şi a pus în el apă pentru spălat.

³⁰He set the basin between the Tent of Meeting and the altar, and put water therein, with which to wash.

³¹Moise, Aaron şi fiii lui şi-au spălat mîinile şi picioarele în el;

³¹Moses, Aaron, and his sons washed their hands and their feet there.

³²cînd intrau în cortul întîlnirii şi se apropiau de altar, se spălau, cum poruncise lui Moise Domnul.

³²When they went into the Tent of Meeting, and when they came near to the altar, they washed, as Yahweh commanded Moses.

³³Apoi a ridicat curtea împrejurul cortului şi altarului, şi a pus perdeaua la poarta curţii. Astfel a isprăvit Moise lucrarea.

³³He raised up the court around the tabernacle and the altar, and set up the screen of the gate of the court. So Moses finished the work.

³⁴Atunci norul a acoperit cortul întîlnirii, şi slava Domnului a umplut cortul.

³⁴Then the cloud covered the Tent of Meeting, and the glory of Yahweh filled the tabernacle.

³⁵Moise nu putea să intre în cortul întîlnirii, pentrucă norul stătea deasupra lui, şi slava Domnului umplea cortul.

³⁵Moses wasn’t able to enter into the Tent of Meeting, because the cloud stayed on it, and Yahweh’s glory filled the tabernacle.

³⁶Cît au ţinut călătoriile lor, copiii lui Israel porneau numai cînd se ridica norul deasupra cortului.

³⁶When the cloud was taken up from over the tabernacle, the children of Israel went onward, throughout all their journeys;

³⁷Şi cînd nu se ridica norul, nu porneau, pînă ce nu se ridica.

³⁷but if the cloud wasn’t taken up, then they didn’t travel until the day that it was taken up.

³⁸Norul Domnului era deasupra cortului ziua; iar noaptea, era un foc, înaintea întregei case a lui Israel, în timpul tuturor călătoriilor lor

³⁸For the cloud of Yahweh was on the tabernacle by day, and there was fire in the cloud by night, in the sight of all the house of Israel, throughout all their journeys.
