¹M'a dus la poartă, la poarta dinspre răsărit.

¹Afterward he brought me to the gate, even the gate that looks toward the east.

²Şi iată că slava Domnezeului lui Israel venea dela răsărit. Glasul Său era ca urletul unor ape mari, şi pămîntul strălucea de slava Sa.

²Behold, the glory of the God of Israel came from the way of the east: and his voice was like the sound of many waters; and the earth shined with his glory.

³Vedenia aceasta semăna cu aceea pe care o avusesem cînd venisem să nimicesc cetatea; şi vedeniile acestea semănau cu aceea pe care o avusesem, lîngă rîul Chebar. Şi am căzut cu faţa la pămînt.

³It was according to the appearance of the vision which I saw, even according to the vision that I saw when I came to destroy the city; and the visions were like the vision that I saw by the river Chebar; and I fell on my face.

⁴Slava Domnului a intrat în Casă pe poarta dinspre răsărit.

⁴The glory of Yahweh came into the house by the way of the gate whose prospect is toward the east.

⁵Atunci, Duhul m'a răpit şi m'a dus în curtea dinlăuntru. Şi Casa era plină de slava Domnului!

⁵The Spirit took me up, and brought me into the inner court; and behold, the glory of Yahweh filled the house.

⁶Am auzit pe cineva vorbindu-mi din Casă, şi un om stătea lîngă mine.

⁶I heard one speaking to me out of the house; and a man stood by me.

⁷El mi -a zis: ,,Fiul omului, acesta este locul scaunului Meu de domnie, locul unde voi pune talpa picioarelor Mele; aici voi locui vecinic în mijlocul copiilor lui Israel! Casa lui Israel şi împăraţii lor nu-Mi vor mai pîngări Numele Meu cel sfînt, prin curviile lor şi prin trupurile moarte ale împăraţilor lor la moartea lor,

⁷He said to me, Son of man, this is the place of my throne, and the place of the soles of my feet, where I will dwell in the midst of the children of Israel forever. The house of Israel shall no more defile my holy name, neither they, nor their kings, by their prostitution, and by the dead bodies of their kings in their high places;

⁸ca atunci cînd îşi puneau pragul lor lîngă pragul Meu, stîlpii lor lîngă stîlpii Mei, şi nu era de cît un zid între Mine şi ei. Aşa au pîngărit ei Numele Meu cel sfînt cu urîciunile pe cari le-au săvîrşit; de aceea i-am mistuit în mînia Mea.

⁸in their setting of their threshold by my threshold, and their doorpost beside my doorpost, and there was but the wall between me and them; and they have defiled my holy name by their abominations which they have committed: therefore I have consumed them in my anger.

⁹Acum vor depărta de la Mine curviile lor şi trupurile moarte ale împăraţilor lor, şi voi locui vecinic în mijlocul lor.

⁹Now let them put away their prostitution, and the dead bodies of their kings, far from me; and I will dwell in their midst forever.

¹⁰Tu, însă, fiul omului, arată Templul acesta casei lui Israel; ei să -i măsoare planul, şi să roşească de nelegiuirile lor.

¹⁰You, son of man, show the house to the house of Israel, that they may be ashamed of their iniquities; and let them measure the pattern.

¹¹Dacă vor roşi de toată purtarea lor, arată-le chipul casei acesteia, întocmirea ei, ieşirile şi intrările ei, toate planurile şi toate legile ei; zugrăveşte-le -o supt ochi, ca să păzească toate planurile ei, toate poruncile ei şi toate orînduirile ei, şi să facă întocmai după ele.

¹¹If they be ashamed of all that they have done, make known to them the form of the house, and its fashion, and its exits, and its entrances, and all its forms, and all its ordinances, and all its forms, and all its laws; and write it in their sight; that they may keep the whole form of it, and all its ordinances, and do them.

¹²Aceasta este legea privitoare la Casă. Pe vîrful muntelui, tot locul pe care -l va cuprinde ea, este prea sfînt. Iată, aceasta este legea asupra Casei.

¹²This is the law of the house: on the top of the mountain the whole limit around it shall be most holy. Behold, this is the law of the house.

¹³Iată măsurile altarului, în coţi; fiecare cot era cu o palmă mai lung decît cotul obicinuit. Temelia era înaltă de un cot, şi lată de un cot; şi pervazul dimprejur avea o lăţime de un lat de mînă; aceasta era propteaua altarului.

¹³These are the measures of the altar by cubits (the cubit is a cubit and a handbreadth): the bottom shall be a cubit, and the breadth a cubit, and its border around its edge a span; and this shall be the base of the altar.

¹⁴Dela temelia de pe pămînt pînă la pervazul de jos erau doi coţi, şi o lăţime de un cot; şi dela pervazul cel mic pînă la cel mare erau patru coţi, şi un cot lăţime.

¹⁴From the bottom on the ground to the lower ledge shall be two cubits, and the breadth one cubit; and from the lesser ledge to the greater ledge shall be four cubits, and the breadth a cubit.

¹⁵Altarul avea o vatră de patru coţi; şi din vatra altarului se înălţau patru coarne.

¹⁵The upper altar shall be four cubits; and from the altar hearth and upward there shall be four horns.

¹⁶Vatra altarului avea o lungime de doisprezece coţi, o lăţime de doisprezece coţi, şi cu cele patru laturi ale lui făcea un patrat.

¹⁶The altar hearth shall be twelve cubits long by twelve broad, square in the four sides of it.

¹⁷Pervazul avea patrusprezece coţi lungime pe patrusprezece coţi lăţime, în cele patru laturi ale lui; marginea de sus era de o jumătate de cot; temelia era lată de un cot de jur împrejur, şi treptele erau îndreptate spre răsărit.

¹⁷The ledge shall be fourteen cubits long by fourteen broad in the four sides of it; and the border about it shall be half a cubit; and its bottom shall be a cubit around; and its steps shall look toward the east.

¹⁸El mi -a zis: ,,Fiul omului, aşa vorbeşte Domnul Dumnezeu: ,Iată legile cu privire la altar, pentru ziua cînd îl vor face, ca să aducă pe el arderi de tot şi să stropească sîngele.

¹⁸He said to me, Son of man, thus says the Lord Yahweh: These are the ordinances of the altar in the day when they shall make it, to offer burnt offerings thereon, and to sprinkle blood thereon.

¹⁹Să dai preoţilor, Leviţilor, cari sînt din sămînţa lui Ţadoc şi cari se apropie de Mine ca să-Mi slujească, zice Domnul Dumnezeu, un viţel pentru jertfa de ispăşire.

¹⁹You shall give to the priests the Levites who are of the seed of Zadok, who are near to me, to minister to me, says the Lord Yahweh, a young bull for a sin offering.

²⁰Să iei din sîngele lui, şi să ungi cele patru coarne ale altarului, cele patru colţuri ale pervazului, şi marginea care -l înconjoară; să curăţeşti astfel altarul şi să faci ispăşire pentru el.

²⁰You shall take of its blood, and put it on the four horns of it, and on the four corners of the ledge, and on the border all around: thus you shall cleanse it and make atonement for it.

²¹Să iei viţelul pentru ispăşite, şi să -l ardă într'un loc anume lîngă Casă, afară din sfîntul Locaş.

²¹You shall also take the bull of the sin offering, and it shall be burnt in the appointed place of the house, outside of the sanctuary.

²²În ziua a doua, să aduci ca jertfă de ispăţire un ţap fără cusur, ca să curăţe altarul, cum l-au curăţit cu viţelul.

²²On the second day you shall offer a male goat without blemish for a sin offering; and they shall cleanse the altar, as they cleansed it with the bull.

²³După ce vei isprăvi de făcut ispăşirea, să aduci un viţel fără cusur, şi un berbece din turmă fără cusur.

²³When you have finished cleansing it, you shall offer a young bull without blemish, and a ram out of the flock without blemish.

²⁴Să -i aduci înaintea Domnului; preoţii să -i presare cu sare, şi să -i aducă Domnului ca ardere de tot.

²⁴You shall bring them near to Yahweh, and the priests shall cast salt on them, and they shall offer them up for a burnt offering to Yahweh.

²⁵Timp de şapte zile, să jertfeşti în fiecare zi un ţap ca jerfă de ispăşire; să jertfească şi un viţel şi un berbece din turmă, amîndoi fără cusur.

²⁵Seven days you shall prepare every day a goat for a sin offering: they shall also prepare a young bull, and a ram out of the flock, without blemish.

²⁶Timp de şapte zile, vor face ispăşirea şi curăţirea altarului, şi -l vor sfinţi astfel.

²⁶Seven days shall they make atonement for the altar and purify it; so shall they consecrate it.

²⁷După ce se vor împlini aceste zile, dela ziua a opta înainte, preoţii să aducă pe altar arderile voastre de tot, şi jerfele voastre de mulţămire. Şi vă voi fi binevoitor, zice Domnul Dumnezeu.``

²⁷When they have accomplished the days, it shall be that on the eighth day, and forward, the priests shall make your burnt offerings on the altar, and your peace offerings; and I will accept you, says the Lord Yahweh.
