1Piere cel neprihănit, şi nimănui nu -i pasă; se duc oamenii de bine şi nimeni nu ia aminte că din pricina răutăţii este luat cel neprihănit.
1The righteous perishes, and no man lays it to heart; and merciful men are taken away, none considering that the righteous is taken away from the evil.
2El întră în pace în groapa lui: cel ce umblă pe drumul cel drept, se odihneşte în culcuşul lui.
2He enters into peace; they rest in their beds, each one who walks in his uprightness.
3,,Dar voi, apropiaţi-vă încoace fii ai vrăjitoarei, sămînţa precurvarului şi a curvei!

6În pietrele lustruite din pîraie este partea ta de moştenire, ele sînt soarta ta; lor le torni şi jertfe de băutură, şi le aduci daruri de mîncare: ,Pot Eu să fiu nesimţitor la lucrul acesta?

11“Of whom have you been afraid and in fear, that you lie, and have not remembered me, nor laid it to your heart? Haven’t I held my peace even of long time, and you don’t fear me?
12Dar acum îţi voi da pe faţă neprihănirea, şi faptele tale nu-ţi vor folosi!
12I will declare your righteousness; and as for your works, they shall not profit you.
13Şi atunci să strigi, şi să te izbăvească mulţimea idolilor tăi! Căci îi va lua vîntul pe toţi, o suflare îi va ridica. Dar celce se încrede în Mine va moşteni ţara, şi va stăpîni muntele Meu cel sfînt.`` -
13When you cry, let those who you have gathered deliver you; but the wind shall take them, a breath shall carry them all away: but he who takes refuge in me shall possess the land, and shall inherit my holy mountain.”
14Şi El zice: ,,Croiţi, croiţi drum, pregătiţi calea, luaţi orice piedică din calea poporului Meu!

15Căci aşa vorbeşte Cel Prea Înalt, a cărui locuinţă este vecinică şi al cărui Nume este sfînt. ,Eu locuiesc în locuri înalte şi în sfinţenie; dar sînt cu omul zdrobit şi smerit, ca să înviorez duhurile smerite, şi să îmbărbătez inimile zdrobite.

18I-am văzut căile, şi totuş îl voi tămădui; îl voi călăuzi, şi -l voi mîngîia, pe el şi pe ceice plîng împreună cu el.

19Voi pune lauda pe buze: ,Pace, pace celui de departe şi celui de aproape! -zice Domnul-Da Eu îl voi tămădui!

20Dar cei răi sînt ca marea înfuriată, care nu se poate linişti, şi ale cărei ape aruncă afară noroi şi mîl.``
20But the wicked are like the troubled sea; for it can’t rest, and its waters cast up mire and dirt.
21,,Cei răi n'au pace`` zice Dumnezeul meu. -
