1God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble.
2De aceea nu ne temem, chiar dacă s'ar zgudui pămîntul, şi s'ar clătina munţii în inima mărilor.
2Therefore we won’t be afraid, though the earth changes, though the mountains are shaken into the heart of the seas;
3Chiar dacă ar urla şi ar spumega valurile mării, şi s'ar ridica pînă acolo de să se cutremure munţii. -
3though its waters roar and are troubled, though the mountains tremble with their swelling. Selah.
4Este un rîu, ale cărui izvoare înveselesc cetatea lui Dumnezeu, sfîntul locaş al locuinţelor Celui Prea Înalt.
4There is a river, the streams of which make the city of God glad, the holy place of the tents of the Most High.
5Dumnezeu este în mijlocul ei: ea nu se clatină; Dumnezeu o ajută în revărsatul zorilor.
5God is in her midst. She shall not be moved. God will help her at dawn.

6The nations raged. The kingdoms were moved. He lifted his voice, and the earth melted.
7Domnul oştirilor este cu noi, Dumnezeul lui Iacov este un turn de scăpare pentru noi. -
7Yahweh of Armies is with us. The God of Jacob is our refuge. Selah.
8Veniţi şi priviţi lucrările Domnului, pustiirile, pe cari le -a făcut El pe pămînt.
8Come, see Yahweh’s works, what desolations he has made in the earth.
9El a pus capăt războaielor pînă la marginea pămîntului; El a sfărîmat arcul, şi a rupt suliţa, a ars cu foc carăle de război. -
9He makes wars cease to the end of the earth. He breaks the bow, and shatters the spear. He burns the chariots in the fire.
10,,Opriţi-vă, şi să ştiţi că Eu sînt Dumnezeu: Eu stăpînesc peste neamuri, Eu stăpînesc pe pămînt. -
10“Be still, and know that I am God. I will be exalted among the nations. I will be exalted in the earth.”
11Domnul oştirilor este cu noi. Dumnezeul lui Iacov este un turn de scăpare pentru noi. -
