¹Descoperirea lui Isus Hristos, pe care l -a dat -o Dumnezeu, ca să arate robilor Săi lucrurile cari au să se întîmple în curînd. Şi le -a făcut -o cunoscut, trimeţînd prin îngerul Său la robul Său Ioan, -

¹This is the Revelation of Jesus Christ, which God gave him to show to his servants the things which must happen soon, which he sent and made known by his angel or, messenger (here and wherever angel is mentioned) to his servant, John,

²care a mărturisit despre Cuvîntul lui Dumnezeu şi despre mărturia lui Isus Hristos, şi a spus tot ce a văzut.

²who testified to God’s word, and of the testimony of Jesus Christ, about everything that he saw.

³Ferice de cine citeşte, şi de cei ce ascultă cuvintele acestei proorocii, şi păzesc lucrurile scrise în ea! Căci vremea este aproape!

³Blessed is he who reads and those who hear the words of the prophecy, and keep the things that are written in it, for the time is at hand.

⁴Ioan, către cele şapte Biserici, cari sînt în Asia: Har şi pace vouă din partea Celui ce este, Celui ce era şi Celui ce vine, şi din partea celor şapte duhuri, cari stau înaintea scaunului Său de domnie,

⁴John, to the seven assemblies that are in Asia: Grace to you and peace, from God, who is and who was and who is to come; and from the seven Spirits who are before his throne;

⁵şi din partea lui Isus Hristos, martorul credincios, cel întîi născut din morţi, Domnul împăraţilor pămîntului! A Lui, care ne iubeşte, care ne -a spălat de păcatele noastre cu sîngele Său,

⁵and from Jesus Christ, the faithful witness, the firstborn of the dead, and the ruler of the kings of the earth. To him who loves us, and washed us from our sins by his blood;

⁶şi a făcut din noi o împărăţie şi preoţi pentru Dumnezeu, Tatăl Său: a Lui să fie slava şi puterea în vecii vecilor! Amin.

⁶and he made us to be a Kingdom, priests Exodus 19:6; Isaiah 61:6 to his God and Father; to him be the glory and the dominion forever and ever. Amen.

⁷Iată că El vine pe nori. Şi orice ochi Îl va vedea; şi cei ce L-au străpuns. Şi toate seminţiile pămîntului se vor boci din pricina Lui! Da, Amin.

⁷Behold, he is coming with the clouds, and every eye will see him, including those who pierced him. All the tribes of the earth will mourn over him. Even so, Amen.

⁸,,Eu sînt Alfa şi Omega, Începutul şi Sfîrşitul``, zice Domnul Dumnezeu, Cel ce este, Cel ce era şi Cel ce vine, Cel Atotputernic.

⁸ “I am the Alpha and the Omega, TR adds “the Beginning and the End” ” says the Lord God, TR omits “God” “who is and who was and who is to come, the Almighty.”

⁹Eu, Ioan, fratele vostru, care sînt părtaş cu voi la necaz, la Împărăţie şi la răbdarea în Isus Hristos, mă aflam în ostrovul care se cheamă Patmos, din pricina Cuvîntului lui Dumnezeu şi din pricina mărturiei lui Isus Hristos.

⁹I John, your brother and partner with you in oppression, Kingdom, and perseverance in Christ Jesus, was on the isle that is called Patmos because of God’s Word and the testimony of Jesus Christ.

¹⁰În ziua Domnului eram în Duhul. Şi am auzit înapoia mea un glas puternic, ca sunetul unei trîmbiţe.

¹⁰I was in the Spirit on the Lord’s day, and I heard behind me a loud voice, like a trumpet

¹¹care zicea: ,,Eu sînt Alfa şi Omega, Cel dintîi şi Cel de pe urmă. Ce vezi, scrie într -o carte, şi trimete -o celor şapte Biserici: la Efes, Smirna, Pergam, Tiatira, Sardes, Filadelfia şi Laodicea.``

¹¹saying, “ TR adds “I am the Alpha and the Omega, the First and the Last.” What you see, write in a book and send to the seven assemblies TR adds “which are in Asia” : to Ephesus, Smyrna, Pergamum, Thyatira, Sardis, Philadelphia, and to Laodicea.”

¹²M'am întors să văd glasul care-mi vorbea. Şi cînd m'am întors, am văzut şapte sfeşnice de aur.

¹²I turned to see the voice that spoke with me. Having turned, I saw seven golden lampstands.

¹³Şi în mijlocul celor şapte sfeşnice pe cineva, care semăna cu Fiul omului, îmbrăcat cu o haină lungă pînă la picioare, şi încins la piept cu un brîu de aur.

¹³And among the lampstands was one like a son of man, Daniel 7:13 clothed with a robe reaching down to his feet, and with a golden sash around his chest.

¹⁴Capul şi părul Lui erau albe ca lîna albă, ca zăpada; ochii Lui erau ca para focului;

¹⁴His head and his hair were white as white wool, like snow. His eyes were like a flame of fire.

¹⁵picioarele Lui erau ca arama aprinsă, şi arsă într-un cuptor; şi glasul Lui era ca vuietul unor ape mari.

¹⁵His feet were like burnished brass, as if it had been refined in a furnace. His voice was like the voice of many waters.

¹⁶În mîna dreaptă ţinea şapte stele. Din gura Lui ieşea o sabie ascuţită cu două tăişuri, şi faţa Lui era ca soarele, cînd străluceşte în toată puterea lui.

¹⁶He had seven stars in his right hand. Out of his mouth proceeded a sharp two-edged sword. His face was like the sun shining at its brightest.

¹⁷Cînd L-am văzut, am căzut la picioarele Lui ca mort. El Şi -a pus mîna dreaptă peste mine, şi a zis: ,,Nu te teme! Eu sînt Cel dintîi şi Cel de pe urmă,

¹⁷When I saw him, I fell at his feet like a dead man. He laid his right hand on me, saying, “Don’t be afraid. I am the first and the last,

¹⁸Cel viu. Am fost mort, şi iată că sînt viu în vecii vecilor. Eu ţin cheile morţii şi ale Locuinţei morţilor.

¹⁸ and the Living one. I was dead, and behold, I am alive forevermore. Amen. I have the keys of Death and of Hades or, Hell .

¹⁹Scrie dar lucrurile, pe cari le-ai văzut, lucrurile cari sînt şi cele cari au să fie după ele.

¹⁹ Write therefore the things which you have seen, and the things which are, and the things which will happen hereafter;

²⁰Taina celor şapte stele, pe cari le-ai văzut în mîna dreaptă a Mea şi a celor şapte sfeşnice de aur: cele şapte stele sînt îngerii celor şapte Biserici; şi cele şapte sfeşnice, sînt şapte Biserici.

²⁰ the mystery of the seven stars which you saw in my right hand, and the seven golden lampstands. The seven stars are the angels or, messengers (here and wherever angels are mentioned) of the seven assemblies. The seven lampstands are seven assemblies.
