¹Şi mi -a arătat un rîu cu apa vieţii, limpede ca cristalul, care ieşea din scaunul de domnie al lui Dumnezeu şi al Mielului.

¹He showed me a TR adds “pure” river of water of life, clear as crystal, proceeding out of the throne of God and of the Lamb,

²În mijlocul pieţii cetăţii, şi pe cele două maluri ale rîului, era pomul vieţii, rodind douăsprezece feluri de rod, şi dînd rod în fiecare lună; şi frunzele pomului slujesc la vindecarea Neamurilor.

²in the middle of its street. On this side of the river and on that was the tree of life, bearing twelve kinds of fruits, yielding its fruit every month. The leaves of the tree were for the healing of the nations.

³Nu va mai fi nimic vrednic de blestem acolo. Scaunul de domnie al lui Dumnezeu şi al Mielului vor fi în ea. Robii Lui Îi vor sluji.

³There will be no curse any more. The throne of God and of the Lamb will be in it, and his servants serve him.

⁴Ei vor vedea faţa Lui, şi Numele Lui va fi pe frunţile lor.

⁴They will see his face, and his name will be on their foreheads.

⁵Acolo nu va mai fi noapte. Şi nu vor mai avea trebuinţă nici de lampă, nici de lumina soarelui, pentrucă Domnul Dumnezeu îi va lumina. Şi vor împărăţi în vecii vecilor.

⁵There will be no night, and they need no lamp light; for the Lord God will illuminate them. They will reign forever and ever.

⁶Şi îngerul mi -a zis: ,,Aceste cuvinte sînt vrednice de crezare şi adevărate. Şi Domnul, Dumnezeul duhurilor proorocilor, a trimes pe îngerul Său să arate robilor Săi lucrurile, cari au să se întîmple în curînd. -

⁶He said to me, “These words are faithful and true. The Lord God of the spirits of the prophets sent his angel to show to his bondservants the things which must happen soon.”

⁷Şi iată, Eu vin curînd! -Ferice de cel ce păzeşte cuvintele proorociei din cartea aceasta!``

⁷ “Behold, I come quickly. Blessed is he who keeps the words of the prophecy of this book.”

⁸Eu, Ioan, am auzit şi am văzut lucrurile acestea. Şi după ce le-am auzit şi le-am văzut, m'am aruncat la picioarele îngerului, care mi le arăta, ca să mă închin lui.

⁸Now I, John, am the one who heard and saw these things. When I heard and saw, I fell down to worship before the feet of the angel who had shown me these things.

⁹Dar el mi -a zis: ,,Fereşte-te să faci una ca aceasta! Eu sînt un împreună slujitor cu tine, şi cu fraţii tăi, proorocii, şi cu cei ce păzesc cuvintele din cartea aceasta. Închină-te lui Dumnezeu.``

⁹He said to me, “See you don’t do it! I am a fellow bondservant with you and with your brothers, the prophets, and with those who keep the words of this book. Worship God.”

¹⁰Apoi mi -a zis: ,,Să nu pecetluieşti cuvintele proorociei din cartea aceasta. Căci vremea este aproape.

¹⁰He said to me, “Don’t seal up the words of the prophecy of this book, for the time is at hand.

¹¹Cine este nedrept, să fie nedrept şi mai departe; cine este întinat, să se întineze şi mai departe; cine este fără prihană să trăiască şi mai departe fără prihană. Şi cine este sfînt, să se sfinţească şi mai departe!

¹¹He who acts unjustly, let him act unjustly still. He who is filthy, let him be filthy still. He who is righteous, let him do righteousness still. He who is holy, let him be holy still.”

¹²Iată, Eu vin curînd; şi răsplata Mea este cu Mine, ca să dau fiecăruia după fapta lui.

¹² “Behold, I come quickly. My reward is with me, to repay to each man according to his work.

¹³Eu sînt Alfa şi Omega, Cel dintîi şi Cel de pe urmă, Începutul şi Sfîrşitul.

¹³ I am the Alpha and the Omega, the First and the Last, the Beginning and the End.

¹⁴Ferice de cei ce îşi spală hainele, ca să aibă drept la pomul vieţii, şi să intre pe porţi în cetate!

¹⁴ Blessed are those who do his commandments, NU reads “wash their robes” instead of “do his commandments”. that they may have the right to the tree of life, and may enter in by the gates into the city.

¹⁵Afară sînt cînii, vrăjitorii, curvarii, ucigaşii, închinătorii la idoli, şi oricine iubeşte minciuna şi trăieşte în minciună!

¹⁵ Outside are the dogs, the sorcerers, the sexually immoral, the murderers, the idolaters, and everyone who loves and practices falsehood.

¹⁶Eu, Isus, am trimes pe îngerul Meu să vă adeverească aceste lucruri pentru Biserici. Eu sînt Rădăcina şi Sămînţa lui David, Luceafărul strălucitor de dimineaţă.

¹⁶ I, Jesus, have sent my angel to testify these things to you for the assemblies. I am the root and the offspring of David; the Bright and Morning Star.”

¹⁷Şi Duhul şi Mireasa zic: ,,Vino!`` Şi cine aude, să zică: ,,Vino!`` Şi celuice îi este sete, să vină; cine vrea, să ia apa vieţii fără plată!

¹⁷The Spirit and the bride say, “Come!” He who hears, let him say, “Come!” He who is thirsty, let him come. He who desires, let him take the water of life freely.

¹⁸Mărturisesc oricui aude cuvintele proorociei din cartea aceasta că, dacă va adăuga cineva ceva la ele, Dumnezeu îi va adăuga urgiile scrise în cartea aceasta.

¹⁸I testify to everyone who hears the words of the prophecy of this book, if anyone adds to them, may God add to him the plagues which are written in this book.

¹⁹Şi dacă scoate cineva ceva din cuvintele cărţii acestei proorocii, îi va scoate Dumnezeu partea lui dela pomul vieţii şi din cetatea sfîntă, scrise în cartea aceasta.``

¹⁹If anyone takes away from the words of the book of this prophecy, may God take away his part from the tree of life, and out of the holy city, which are written in this book.

²⁰Cel ce adevereşte aceste lucruri, zice: ,,Da, Eu vin curînd.`` Amin! Vino, Doamne Isuse!

²⁰He who testifies these things says, “Yes, I come quickly.” Amen! Yes, come, Lord Jesus.

²¹Harul Domnului Isus Hristos să fie cu voi cu toţi! Amin
