²Şi am văzut pe cei şapte îngeri, cari stau înaintea lui Dumnezeu; şi li s'au dat şapte trîmbiţe.

²I saw the seven angels who stand before God, and seven trumpets were given to them.

³Apoi a venit un alt înger, care s'a oprit în faţa altarului, cu o cădelniţă de aur. I s'a dat tămîie multă, ca s'o aducă, împreună cu rugăciunile tuturor sfinţilor, pe altarul de aur, care este înaintea scaunului de domnie.

³Another angel came and stood over the altar, having a golden censer. Much incense was given to him, that he should add it to the prayers of all the saints on the golden altar which was before the throne.

⁴Fumul de tămîie s'a ridicat din mîna îngerului înaintea lui Dumnezeu, împreună cu rugăciunile sfinţilor.

⁴The smoke of the incense, with the prayers of the saints, went up before God out of the angel’s hand.

⁵Apoi îngerul a luat cădelniţa, a umplut -o din focul de pe altar, şi l -a aruncat pe pămînt. Şi s'au stîrnit tunete, glasuri, fulgere şi un cutremur de pămînt.

⁵The angel took the censer, and he filled it with the fire of the altar, and threw it on the earth. There followed thunders, sounds, lightnings, and an earthquake.

⁶Şi cei şapte îngeri, cari aveau cele şapte trîmbiţe, s'au pregătit să sune din ele.

⁶The seven angels who had the seven trumpets prepared themselves to sound.

⁷Îngerul dintîi a sunat din trîmbiţă. Şi a venit grindină şi foc amestecat cu sînge, cari au fost aruncate pe pămînt: şi a treia parte a pămîntului a fost ars, şi a treia parte din copaci au fost arşi, şi toată iarba verde a fost arsă.

⁷The first sounded, and there followed hail and fire, mixed with blood, and they were thrown to the earth. One third of the earth was burnt up, TR omits “One third of the earth was burnt up” and one third of the trees were burnt up, and all green grass was burnt up.

⁸Al doilea înger a sunat din trîmbiţă. Şi ceva ca un munte mare de foc aprins a fost aruncat în mare; şi a treia parte din mare s'a făcut sînge;

⁸The second angel sounded, and something like a great burning mountain was thrown into the sea. One third of the sea became blood,

⁹şi a treia parte din făpturile, cari erau în mare şi aveau viaţă, au murit; şi a treia parte din corăbii au pierit.

⁹and one third of the living creatures which were in the sea died. One third of the ships were destroyed.

¹⁰Al treilea înger a sunat din trîmbiţă. Şi a căzut din cer o stea mare, care ardea ca o făclie; a căzut peste a treia parte din rîuri şi peste izvoarele apelor.

¹⁰The third angel sounded, and a great star fell from the sky, burning like a torch, and it fell on one third of the rivers, and on the springs of the waters.

¹¹The name of the star is called “Wormwood.” One third of the waters became wormwood. Many people died from the waters, because they were made bitter.

¹²Al patrulea înger a sunat din trîmbiţă. Şi a fost lovită a treia parte din soare, şi a treia parte din lună, şi a treia parte din stele, pentruca a treia parte din ele să fie întunecată, ziua să-şi piardă a treia parte din lumina ei, şi noaptea de asemenea.

¹²The fourth angel sounded, and one third of the sun was struck, and one third of the moon, and one third of the stars; so that one third of them would be darkened, and the day wouldn’t shine for one third of it, and the night in the same way.
