22

1O Jesus dia duma pale andel paramichi ai phenel,
1Jesus answered and spoke again in parables to them, saying,
2 “The Kingdom of Heaven is like a certain king, who made a marriage feast for his son,
3Tradias peske slugen te akharen kodolen kai sas akharde ka abiav, numa won chi mangle te aven.
3 and sent out his servants to call those who were invited to the marriage feast, but they would not come.
4"Magdata tradias avre slugen, te mothon kodolenge kai sas akharde, "Eta, getosardem o xabe, murhe guruv ai le vitseluria sa mudarde, swako fielo gata. Aven ka abiav!" "
4 Again he sent out other servants, saying, ‘Tell those who are invited, “Behold, I have prepared my dinner. My cattle and my fatlings are killed, and all things are ready. Come to the marriage feast!”’
5Numa chi thode sama, ai gele peske drom, iek ka peski farma, aver ande peski buchi.
5 But they made light of it, and went their ways, one to his own farm, another to his merchandise,
6 and the rest grabbed his servants, and treated them shamefully, and killed them.
7"Kana o amperato ashundias, xolialo, tradias peske ketani; ai kerdias xaiimaske anda kodola kai mudarde, ai dias iag lengo foro.
7 When the king heard that, he was angry, and sent his armies, destroyed those murderers, and burned their city.
8Antunchi phendias peske slugenge, o abiav gata numa kodola kai sas akharde, chi molas te aven akharde."
8 “Then he said to his servants, ‘The wedding is ready, but those who were invited weren’t worthy.
9 Go therefore to the intersections of the highways, and as many as you may find, invite to the marriage feast.’
10 Those servants went out into the highways, and gathered together as many as they found, both bad and good. The wedding was filled with guests.
11Kana o amperato avilo te dikhel le gosten, dikhlia kotse iek manush kai sas xuriarado andel tsalia abiaveske.
11 But when the king came in to see the guests, he saw there a man who didn’t have on wedding clothing,
12Ai phendias leske, "Vortako, Sar avilian andre katse bi tsalengo abiaveske?" Les nas so mothol.
12 and he said to him, ‘Friend, how did you come in here not wearing wedding clothing?’ He was speechless.
13 Then the king said to the servants, ‘Bind him hand and foot, take him away, and throw him into the outer darkness; there is where the weeping and grinding of teeth will be.’
14"Ke but si akharde, numa xantsi si halome."
14 For many are called, but few chosen.”
15Then the Pharisees went and took counsel how they might entrap him in his talk.
16Trade leste peske disiplon ai une Herodians, won phende , "Gazda, zhanas ke chachimasa san ai sikaves o chachimos pa Del bi te daras vari kastar, ke chi thos partia kanikaske.
16They sent their disciples to him, along with the Herodians, saying, “Teacher, we know that you are honest, and teach the way of God in truth, no matter whom you teach, for you aren’t partial to anyone.
17Phen amenge antunchi, "So gindis? Si amenge slobodo vai nai, te pochinas taksa ka Caesar?"
17Tell us therefore, what do you think? Is it lawful to pay taxes to Caesar, or not?”
Tume kai ankerdion so chi san?
18But Jesus perceived their wickedness, and said, “Why do you test me, you hypocrites?
19Sikaven mange le love so sa pochinen e taksa." Andine leske iek pena,
19 Show me the tax money.” They brought to him a denarius.
20He asked them, “Whose is this image and inscription?”
21Won phende leske, "O Caesar" Antunchi O Jesus phendias lenge, "Den ka Caesar so si lesko, ai den ka Del so si le Devlesko."
21They said to him, “Caesar’s.” Then he said to them, “Give therefore to Caesar the things that are Caesar’s, and to God the things that are God’s.”
22Kana ashunde, chudisaile. Mekle les ai geletar.
22When they heard it, they marveled, and left him, and went away.
23Sa kodo dies uni Saduseanuria kai mothon ke nai traio pala e martia avile leste ai phushle les,
23On that day Sadducees (those who say that there is no resurrection) came to him. They asked him,
24"Gazda, o Moses phendias, 'Te merela iek manush ai nas les glate, lesko phral trobul te lel leska rhomni, te vazdel familia peske phralesle.'
24saying, “Teacher, Moses said, ‘If a man dies, having no children, his brother shall marry his wife, and raise up seed for his brother.’
25Sas mashkar amende efta phral. O pervo ansurisailo ai mulo, ai ke nas les glate, meklia peska rhomnia peske phraleske.
25Now there were with us seven brothers. The first married and died, and having no seed left his wife to his brother.
26Sa kadia o duito, ai o trito zhi ka o eftato.
26In the same way, the second also, and the third, to the seventh.
27Kana avela te zhuvindin le mule te zhan ando rhaio, saveski andal efta phral avela e rhomni ke savorhenge sas?"
27After them all, the woman died.
29O Jesus phendias lenge, "Shubin tume zurales! Ke tume chi haliaren E Vorba le Devleski , ai chi e putiera le Devleski.
28In the resurrection therefore, whose wife will she be of the seven? For they all had her.”
29But Jesus answered them, “You are mistaken, not knowing the Scriptures, nor the power of God.
31Numa anda kodia kai zhuvindin le mule te zhan ando rhaio, chi jindian tume so sas phendo tumenge katar O Del, kana phendias.
30 For in the resurrection they neither marry, nor are given in marriage, but are like God’s angels in heaven.
32"Me sim O Del le Abramosko, O Del le Isakosko ai O Del le Jacovosko," O Del nai O Del le mulengo, numa le zhuvindengo."
31 But concerning the resurrection of the dead, haven’t you read that which was spoken to you by God, saying,
33Kana le naroduria ashunde kado divano, chudisaile katar lesko sikaimos.
32 ‘I am the God of Abraham, and the God of Isaac, and the God of Jacob?’ God is not the God of the dead, but of the living.”
34Numa kana le Farizeanuria ashunde ke phandadias o mui le Saduseanongo, chidinisaile andek than,
33When the multitudes heard it, they were astonished at his teaching.
35ai iek anda lende, ablakato, phushlias les ek divano te zumavel les.
34But the Pharisees, when they heard that he had silenced the Sadducees, gathered themselves together.
36"Gazda, Savo si o mai baro andal zakonuria?"
35One of them, a lawyer, asked him a question, testing him.
36“Teacher, which is the greatest commandment in the law?”
37Jesus said to him, “‘You shall love the Lord your God with all your heart, with all your soul, and with all your mind.’
38 This is the first and great commandment.
41Kana sas chidine andek than le Farizeanuria, O Jesus phushlia le divano,
39 A second likewise is this, ‘You shall love your neighbor as yourself.’
42"So gindin tume pa Kristo? Kasko shav si wo?" Won phende leske, "O Shav le Davidosko."
40 The whole law and the prophets depend on these two commandments.”
43O Jesus phendias lenge, "Sar, antunchi o David kana sas O Swunto Duxo pe leste akhardias les, 'Gazda?'" phendias,
41Now while the Pharisees were gathered together, Jesus asked them a question,
44"O gazda phendia murhe gazdaske: 'Besh ka murho chacho vas, zhi pon thav che duzhmanon tela che punrhe.'"
42saying, “What do you think of the Christ? Whose son is he?” They said to him, “Of David.”
45Teala o David akharel les, "Gazda," Sar si lesko shav?
43He said to them, “How then does David in the Spirit call him Lord, saying,
46Chi iek nashti phendias leske iek vorba, ai pala kodia chi mai tromaile te phushen les kaver divanuria.
44 ‘The Lord said to my Lord, sit on my right hand, until I make your enemies a footstool for your feet?’
45 “If then David calls him Lord, how is he his son?”
46No one was able to answer him a word, neither did any man dare ask him any more questions from that day forth.
