¹A svoj dom staväl Šalamún trinásť rokov, a tak dostavil celý svoj dom.

¹And his own house hath Solomon built thirteen years, and he finisheth all his house.

²A vystavil dom z lesa Libanona; sto lakťov bola jeho dĺžka, päťdesiat lakťov jeho šírka a tridsať lakťov jeho výška, na štyroch radoch cedrových stĺpov, a tesané hrady cedrové boly na stĺpoch.

²And he buildeth the house of the forest of Lebanon; a hundred cubits [is] its length, and fifty cubits its breadth, and thirty cubits its height, on four rows of cedar pillars, and cedar-beams on the pillars;

³Pokrytý bol cedrovinou hore nad izbami, ktoré boly na stĺpoch, ktorých bolo štyridsaťpäť, po pätnástich v jednom rade.

³and [it is] covered with cedar above, on the sides that [are] on the forty and five pillars, fifteen in the row.

⁴Okien boly tri rady, oblok proti obloku po trikrát.

⁴And windows [are] in three rows, and sight [is] over-against sight three times.

⁵A všetky dvere a podvoje boly štvorhranné čo do svetelnosti, a oblok proti obloku trikrát.

⁵And all the openings and the side-posts [are] square — windows; and sight [is] over-against sight three times.

⁶A spravil stĺpovú sieň: päťdesiat lakťov jej dĺžka a tridsať lakťov jej šírka, a iná sieň pred nimi, i stĺpy i výpustok trámu pred nimi.

⁶And the porch of the pillars he hath made; fifty cubits its length, and thirty cubits its breadth, and the porch [is] before them, and pillars and a thick place [are] before them.

⁷A spravil aj trónnu sieň, kde súdil, súdnu sieň, ktorá bola pokrytá cedrovinou od podlahy po povalu.

⁷And the porch of the throne where he judgeth — the porch of judgment — he hath made, and [it is] covered with cedar from the floor unto the floor.

⁸A jeho dom, v ktorom býval, na druhom dvore z druhej, zadnej strany siene, bol stavbou toho istého druhu jako jako toto. A vystavil a zariadil dom dcére faraonovej, ktorú si vzal Šalamún za ženu, ktorý bol ako táto sieň.

⁸As to his house where he dwelleth, the other court [is] within the porch — as this work it hath been; and a house he maketh for the daughter of Pharaoh — whom Solomon hath taken — like this porch.

⁹Všetko to bolo z drahocenných kameňov, tesaných podľa miery, pílených pílou z prednej i zo zadnej strany, a to od základu až ku stropu a zvonku až po veľký dvor.

⁹All these [are] of precious stone, according to the measures of hewn work, sawn with a saw, within and without, even from the foundation unto the coping, and at the outside, unto the great court.

¹⁰A základ bol z drahých kameňov, veľkých kameňov, z kameňov na desať lakťov a z kameňov na osem lakťov.

¹⁰And the foundation [is] of precious stone, great stones, stones of ten cubits, and stones of eight cubits;

¹¹A hore, nad základom, boly drahé kamene, tesané podľa miery, a cedrina.

¹¹and above [are] precious stone, according to the measures of hewn work, and cedar;

¹²A veľký dvor všade dookola zo troch radov tesaného kameňa a z jedného radu cedrových trámov, a také isté zariadenie mal i vnútorný dvor domu Hospodinovho i sieň domu.

¹²and the great court round about [is] three rows of hewn work, and a row of cedar-beams, even for the inner court of the house of Jehovah, and for the porch of the house.

¹³A kráľ Šalamún poslal poslov a vzal Chírama z Týru.

¹³And king Solomon sendeth and taketh Hiram out of Tyre —

¹⁴Bol to syn ženy vdovy z pokolenia Naftaliho, ktorého otec bol človek z Týru. Bol to remeselník, ktorý robil z medi a bol naplnený múdrosťou, rozumnosťou a umením, aby robil všelijaké dielo z medi, a tedy prišiel ku kráľovi Šalamúnovi a robil všetko jeho dielo.

¹⁴he [is] son of a woman, a widow, of the tribe of Naphtali, and his father a man of Tyre, a worker in brass, and he is filled with the wisdom and the understanding, and the knowledge to do all work in brass — and he cometh unto king Solomon, and doth all his work.

¹⁵A utvoril dva stĺpy z medi. Osemnásť lakťov bola výška jedného stĺpa a jeho obvod dvanásť lakťov a tak i druhého stĺpa.

¹⁵And he formeth the two pillars of brass; eighteen cubits [is] the height of the one pillar, and a cord of twelve cubits doth compass the second pillar.

¹⁶Spravil i dve makovice-hlavice, aby ich dal na vrch stĺpov, uliate z medi. Päť lakťov bola výška jednej makovice a päť lakťov výška druhej makovice.

¹⁶And two chapiters he hath made to put on the tops of the pillars, cast in brass; five cubits the height of the one chapiter, and five cubits the height of the second chapiter.

¹⁷A makovice, ktoré boly hore na stĺpoch, maly na sebe mrežinu, spravenú na spôsob práce pletiva, šnúry na spôsob práce reťazí; sedem mala jedna makovica a sedem mala druhá makovica.

¹⁷Nets of net-work, wreaths of chain-work [are] for the chapiters that [are] on the top of the pillars, seven for the one chapiter, and seven for the second chapiter.

¹⁸A tak spravil tie stĺpy a dva rady dookola na jedno pletivo pokryť makovice, ktoré boly hore, zrnatých jabĺk, a tak spravil aj druhej makovici.

¹⁸And he maketh the pillars, and two rows round about on the one net-work, to cover the chapiters that [are] on the top, with the pomegranates, and so he hath made for the second chapiter.

¹⁹A makovice, ktoré boly hore na stĺpoch, čo do práce boly podoby ľalií, v sieni, na štyri lakte.

¹⁹And the chapiters that [are] on the top of the pillars [are] of lily-work in the porch, four cubits;

²⁰Také boly makovice na oboch stĺpoch, aj hore pri vypukline, ktorá bola za pletivom. A zrnatých jabĺk bolo dvesto, upravených v rady dookola, na makovici, na jednej i na druhej.

²⁰and the chapiters on the two pillars also above, over-against the protuberance that [is] beside the net; and the pomegranates [are] two hundred, in rows round about on the second chapiter.

²¹A postavil stĺpy sieni chrámu. A keď postavil pravý stĺp, nazval jeho meno Jachín. A keď postavil ľavý stĺp, nazval jeho meno Boaz.

²¹And he raiseth up the pillars for the porch of the temple, and he raiseth up the right pillar, and calleth its name Jachin, and he raiseth up the left pillar, and calleth its name Boaz;

²²A hore na vrchu stĺpov bola práca podoby ľalií. A tak bolo dokonané dielo stĺpov.

²²and on the top of the pillars [is] lily-work; and the work of the pillars [is] completed.

²³A spravil uliate more. Desať lakťov šírky bolo od jedného jeho kraja po jeho druhý kraj, a bolo okrúhle dookola, a jeho výška bola päť lakťov, a šnúra tridsiatich lakťov ho objala dookola.

²³And he maketh the molten sea, ten by the cubit from its edge unto its edge; [it is] round all about, and five by the cubit [is] its height, and a line of thirty by the cubit doth compass it round about;

²⁴A pod jeho krajom ho objímaly ozdoby, divé uhorky, dookola, po desiatich v lakti, ktoré obkľučovaly more dookola; dva rady bolo tých divých uhoriek, ktoré boly s ním spolu sliate.

²⁴and knops beneath its brim round about are compassing it, ten by the cubit, going round the sea round about; in two rows [are] the knops, cast in its being cast.

²⁵Stálo na dvanástich voloch, z ktorých tri hľadely na sever, tri hľadely na západ, tri hľadely na juh, a tri hľadely na východ, a more bolo na nich svrchu, a všetky ich zadky boly obrátené dovnútra.

²⁵It is standing on twelve oxen, three facing the north, and three facing the west, and three facing the south, and three facing the east, and the sea [is] upon them above, and all their hinder parts [are] inward.

²⁶Jeho trúbka bola na dlaň; jeho kraj bol taký, jako býva spravený kraj u kalicha, jako kvet ľalie; pojímalo dva tisíce batov.

²⁶And its thickness [is] an handbreadth, and its edge as the work of the edge of a cup, flowers of lilies; two thousand baths it containeth.

²⁷A spravil desať vozových podstavcov z medi. Štyri lakte bola dĺžka jedného podstavca, štyri lakte jeho šírka a tri lakte jeho výška.

²⁷And he maketh the ten bases of brass; four by the cubit [is] the length of the one base, and four by the cubit its breadth, and three by the cubit its height.

²⁸Práca každého toho podstavca bola takáto: maly po bokoch uzavierajúce steny, a tie uzavierajúce steny boly medzi okrajnými došticami.

²⁸And this [is] the work of the base: they have borders, and the borders [are] between the joinings;

²⁹A na tých uzavierajúcich stenách, ktoré boly medzi došticami, boli ľvi, voly a cherubi, a nad tými došticami bol svrchu stĺpec a pod ľvami a volmi boly vence, spravené tak, ako čo by visely.

²⁹and on the borders that [are] between the joinings [are] lions, oxen, and cherubs, and on the joinings a base above, and beneath the lions and the oxen [are] additions — sloping work.

³⁰Každý podstavec mal štyri medené kolesá a medené osi, a jeho štyri nohy, stojace na osiach, maly pliecka; a pliecka boly uliate pod umyvákom, a za každým z nich boly vence.

³⁰And four wheels of brass [are] to the one base, and axles of brass; and its four corners have shoulders — under the laver [are] the molten shoulders, beside each addition.

³¹A jeho ústie zvnútra makovice a hore na lakeť, a jeho ústie bolo okrúhle, spravené jako stĺpec, na poldruha lakťa, a aj na jeho ústí boly rezby, ale ich uzavierajúce steny boly štvorhranné, nie okrúhle.

³¹And its mouth within the chapiter and above [is] by the cubit, and its mouth [is] round, the work of the base, a cubit and half a cubit; and also on its mouth [are] carvings and their borders, square, not round.

³²Tie štyri kolesá boly pod tými stenami jako aj opory kolies, na podstavci, a výška jedného kolesa bola poldruha lakťa.

³²And the four wheels [are] under the borders, and the spokes of the wheels [are] in the base, and the height of the one wheel [is] a cubit and half a cubit.

³³A práca tých kolies bola, jako býva práca kolesa u voza; ich záosky, ich lúkote, ich špice, ich hlavy, všetko bolo uliate.

³³And the work of the wheels [is] as the work of the wheel of a chariot, their spokes, and their axles, and their felloes, and their naves; the whole [is] molten.

³⁴A spravil štyri pliecka na štyri uhly každého podstavca; jeho pliecka boly z neho, z podstavca.

³⁴And four shoulders [are] unto the four corners of the one base; out of the base [are] its shoulders.

³⁵A hore na podstavci bolo pol lakťa výšky, okrúhle dookola, a hore na podstavci boly jeho opory a jeho uzavierajúce steny z neho.

³⁵And in the top of the base [is] the half of a cubit in the height all round about; and on the top of the base its spokes and its borders [are] of the same.

³⁶A povyrýval na doskách, na jeho oporách a na jeho uzavierajúcich stenách cherubov, ľvov, a palmy podľa toho, koľko malo ktoré prázdnej plochy, a vence dookola.

³⁶And he openeth on the tablets of its spokes, and on its borders, cherubs, lions, and palm-trees, according to the void space of each, and additions round about.

³⁷Na ten spôsob spravil tých desať vozových podstavcov. Všetky boly z jednej a tej istej liatiny, maly jednu a tú istú mieru a jednu a tú istú podobu.

³⁷Thus he hath made the ten bases; one casting, one measure, one form, have they all.

³⁸A spravil desať medených umyvákov. Každý umyvák objímal štyridsať batov, a každý umyvák bol na štyri lakte, jeden umyvák na jeden podstavec a tak pre všetkých desať podstavcov.

³⁸And he maketh ten lavers of brass; forty baths doth the one laver contain, four by the cubit [is] the one laver, one laver on the one base [is] to the ten bases;

³⁹A dal päť podstavcov na pravú stranu domu a päť na ľavú stranu domu a more dal z pravej strany domu, na východ, proti juhu.

³⁹and he putteth the five bases on the right side of the house, and five on the left side of the house, and the sea he hath put on the right side of the house, eastward — over-against the south.

⁴⁰A tak spravil Chíram tie umyváky, lopaty i čaše. A Chíram dokonal všetko dielo, ktoré robil kráľovi Šalamúnovi pre dom Hospodinov;

⁴⁰And Hiram maketh the lavers, and the shovels, and the bowls; and Hiram completeth to do all the work that he made for king Solomon, [for] the house of Jehovah;

⁴¹dva stĺpy a dve hlavice makovíc, ktoré boly hore na stĺpoch, a dve pletivá pokryť dve hlavice makovíc, ktoré boly hore na stĺpoch;

⁴¹pillars two, and bowls of the chapiters that [are] on the top of the pillars two, and the nets two, to cover the two bowls of the chapiters that [are] on the top of the pillars;

⁴²štyristo zrnatých jabĺk pre dve pletivá, dva rady zrnatých jabĺk pre jedno pletivo, aby pokryly dve hlavice makovíc, ktoré boly na stĺpoch;

⁴²and the pomegranates four hundred for the two nets, two rows of pomegranates for the one net, to cover the two bowls of the chapiters that [are] on the front of the pillars;

⁴³desať podstavcov a desať umyvákov na tie podstavce;

⁴³and the ten bases, and the ten lavers on the bases;

⁴⁴jedno more a dvanásť volov pod more;

⁴⁴and the one sea, the twelve oxen under the sea,

⁴⁵hrnce, lopaty a čaše a všetko to náradie, ktoré robil Chíram kráľovi Šalamúnovi pre dom Hospodinov, bolo z hladenej medi.

⁴⁵and the pots, and the shovels, and the bowls; and all these vessels, that Hiram hath made to king Solomon [for] the house of Jehovah, [are] of brass — polished.

⁴⁶Na rovine Jordána ich ulieval kráľ vo formách z ílovitej zeme medzi Sukkótom a medzi Caretánom.

⁴⁶In the circuit of the Jordan hath the king cast them, in the thick soil of the ground, between Succoth and Zarthan.

⁴⁷A Šalamún nechal všetko to náradie nevážené pre množstvo kovu, náramne veľké; nevyhľadávala sa váha medi.

⁴⁷And Solomon placeth the whole of the vessels; because of the very great abundance, the weight of the brass hath not been searched out.

⁴⁸A tedy Šalamún spravil všetko náradie, ktoré patrilo domu Hospodinovmu: zlatý oltár, zlatý stôl, na ktorom bol chlieb tvári Božej,

⁴⁸And Solomon maketh all the vessels that [are] in the house of Jehovah: the altar of gold, and the table — on which [is] the bread of the Presence — of gold,

⁴⁹svietnikov päť na pravej strane a päť na ľavej pred svätyňou svätých z rýdzeho zlata i kvety, lampy i štipce na čistenie, všetko zo zlata;

⁴⁹and the candlesticks, five on the right, and five on the left, before the oracle, of refined gold, and the flowers, and the lamps, and the tongs, of gold,

⁵⁰misky, nože, čaše, panvy a kadidlá, z rýdzeho zlata, a čepy pre dvere vnútorného domu, pre svätyňu svätých, a pre dvere domu, pre chrám zo zlata.

⁵⁰and the basins, and the snuffers, and the bowls, and the spoons, and the censers, of refined gold, and the hinges for the doors of the inner-house, for the holy of holies, for the doors of the house of the temple, of gold.

⁵¹A tak bolo dokončené všetko dielo, ktoré robil kráľ Šalamún pre dom Hospodinov. A Šalamún vniesol ta zasvätené veci Dávida, svojho otca, striebro a zlato a náradie; dal to medzi poklady domu Hospodinovho.

⁵¹And it is complete — all the work that king Solomon hath made [for] the house of Jehovah, and Solomon bringeth in the sanctified things of David his father; the silver, and the gold, and the vessels he hath put in the treasuries of the house of Jehovah.
