1A toto sú rody Ezavove, ktorý je Edom.
1And these [are] births of Esau, who [is] Edom.
2Ezav vzal svoje ženy zo dcér Kanaána, Adu, dcéru Elona Hetejského, a Aholibámu, dcéru Anovu, dcéru, vnučku Cibona Hevejského,
2Esau hath taken his wives from the daughters of Canaan: Adah daughter of Elon the Hittite, and Aholibamah daughter of Anah, daughter of Zibeon the Hivite,
3a Bazematu, dcéru Izmaelovu, sestru Nebajotovu.
3and Bashemath daughter of Ishmael, sister of Nebajoth.
4A Ada porodila Ezavovi Elifaza, a Bazemata porodila Reuela.
4And Adah beareth to Esau, Eliphaz; and Bashemath hath born Reuel;
5A Aholibáma porodila Jeúša, Jalama a Kóracha. Toto sú synovia Ezavovi, ktorí sa mu narodili v zemi Kanaána.
5and Aholibamah hath born Jeush, and Jaalam, and Korah. These [are] sons of Esau, who were born to him in the land of Canaan.
6Potom vzal Ezav svoje ženy, svojich synov a svoje dcéry jako i všetky duše svojho domu i svoj dobytok i všetky svoje hovädá i všetok svoj majetok, ktorý nadobudol v zemi Kanaána, a odišiel zo zeme Seira pred Jakobom svojím bratom.
6And Esau taketh his wives, and his sons, and his daughters, and all the persons of his house, and his cattle, and all his beasts, and all his substance which he hath acquired in the land of Canaan, and goeth into the country from the face of Jacob his brother;
7Lebo mali primnoho imania, než aby boli mohli bývať spolu, ani nemohla zem, v ktorej pohostínili, uniesť ich pre ich mnohý dobytok.
7for their substance was more abundant than to dwell together, and the land of their sojournings was not able to bear them because of their cattle;
8A tak býval Ezav na vrchu Seire, Ezav, to je Edom.
8and Esau dwelleth in mount Seir: Esau is Edom.
9A toto sú rody Ezava, otca Edomcov, na vrchu Seire.
9And these [are] births of Esau, father of Edom, in mount Seir.
10Toto sú mená synov Ezavových: Elifaz, syn Ady, ženy Ezavovej; Reuel, syn Bazematy, ženy Ezavovej.
10These [are] the names of the sons of Esau: Eliphaz son of Adah, wife of Esau; Reuel son of Bashemath, wife of Esau.
11A synovia Elifazovi boli: Téman, Omár, Cefo a Gátam a Kenaz.
11And the sons of Eliphaz are Teman, Omar, Zepho, and Gatam, and Kenaz;
12A Timna bola ženina Elifaza, syna Ezavovho, a porodila Elifazovi Amalecha. To sú synovia Ady, ženy Ezavovej.
12and Timnath hath been concubine to Eliphaz son of Esau, and she beareth to Eliphaz, Amalek; these [are] sons of Adah wife of Esau.
13A toto sú synovia Reuelovi: Nachat a Zárach, Šamma a Mizza. To boli synovia Bazematy, ženy Ezavovej.
13And these [are] sons of Reuel: Nahath and Zerah, Shammah and Mizzah; these were sons of Bashemath wife of Esau.
14A toto boli synovia Aholibámy, dcéry Anovej, dcéry Cibonovej, ženy Ezavovej, ktorá porodila Ezavovi Jeúša, Jalama a Kóracha.
14And these have been the sons of Aholibamah daughter of Anah, daughter of Zibeon, wife of Esau; and she beareth to Esau, Jeush and Jaalam and Korah.
15Toto boly kniežatá synov Ezavových. Synovia Elifaza, prvorodeného Ezavovho: knieža Téman, knieža Omár, knieža Cefo, knieža Kenaz,
15These [are] chiefs of the sons of Esau: sons of Eliphaz, first-born of Esau: chief Teman, chief Omar, chief Zepho, chief Kenaz,
16knieža Kórach, knieža Gátam, knieža Amalech. Toto boly kniežatá, pošlé z Elifaza, v zemi Edomovej. Toto boli synovia Adini.
16chief Korah, chief Gatam, chief Amalek; these [are] chiefs of Eliphaz, in the land of Edom; these [are] sons of Adah.
17A toto boli synovia Reuela, syna Ezavovho: knieža Nachat, knieža Zárach, knieža Šamma, knieža Mizza. Toto boly kniežatá, ktoré pošly z Reuela v zemi Edomovej. To boli synovia Bazematy, ženy Ezavovej.
17And these [are] sons of Reuel son of Esau: chief Nahath, chief Zerah, chief Shammah, chief Mizzah; these [are] chiefs of Reuel, in the land of Edom; these [are] sons of Bashemath wife of Esau.
18A toto boli synovia Aholibámy, ženy Ezavovej: knieža Jeúš, knieža Jalam, knieža Kórach. Toto boly kniežatá Aholibámy, dcéry Anu, ženy Ezavovej.
18And these [are] sons of Aholibamah wife of Esau: chief Jeush, chief Jaalam, chief Korah; these [are] chiefs of Aholibamah daughter of Anah, wife of Esau.
19To sú synovia Ezavovi a to ich kniežatá. On je Edom.
19These [are] sons of Esau (who [is] Edom), and these their chiefs.
20Toto sú synovia Seira Chorejského, obyvatelia tej zeme: Lotán, Šobál, Cibon a Ana,
20These [are] sons of Seir the Horite, the inhabitants of the land: Lotan, and Shobal, and Zibeon, and Anah,
21Dišon, Écer a Díšan. To sú kniežatá Chorejov, synov Seira, v zemi Edomovej.
21and Dishon, and Ezer, and Dishan; these [are] chiefs of the Horites, sons of Seir, in the land of Edom.
22A synovia Lotánovi boli: Chori a Hémam, a sestra Lotánova bola Timna.
22And the sons of Lotan are Hori and Heman; and a sister of Lotan [is] Timna.
23A toto boli synovia Šobálovi: Alván, Manachat a Ébal, Šefo a Onám.
23And these [are] sons of Shobal: Alvan and Manahath, and Ebal, Shepho and Onam.
24A toto sú synovia Cibonovi, i Aja i Ana. To je ten Ana, ktorý našiel teplé pramene na pustine, keď pásol oslov Cibona, svojho otca.
24And these [are] sons of Zibeon, both Ajah and Anah: it [is] Anah that hath found the Imim in the wilderness, in his feeding the asses of Zibeon his father.
25A toto sú deti Anove: Dišon a Aholibáma, dcéra Anova.
25And these [are] sons of Anah: Dishon, and Aholibamah daughter of Anah.
26A toto synovia Dišánovi: Chemdán, Ešbán, Jitrán a Cherán.
26And these [are] sons of Dishon: Hemdan, and Eshban, and Ithran, and Cheran.
27Títo synovia Écerovi: Bilhán, Zaván a Akán.
27These [are] sons of Ezer: Bilhan, and Zaavan, and Akan.
28Títo synovia Dišánovi: Úc a Arán.
28These [are] sons of Dishan: Uz and Aran.
29Toto boly kniežatá Chorejov: knieža Lotán, knieža Šobál, knieža Cibon, knieža Ana,
29These [are] chiefs of the Horite: chief Lotan, chief Shobal, chief Zibeon, chief Anah,
30knieža Dišon, knieža Écer, knieža Dišán. To boly kniežatá Chorejov po svojich kniežatstvách v zemi Seira.-
30chief Dishon, chief Ezer, chief Dishan: these [are] chiefs of the Horite in reference to their chiefs in the land of Seir.
31A toto sú kráľovia, ktorí kraľovali v zemi Edomovej, prv než kraľoval kráľ synov Izraelových.
31And these [are] the kings who have reigned in the land of Edom before the reigning of a king over the sons of Israel.
32A tedy kraľoval v Edomovi Béla, syn Beorov, a meno jeho mesta bolo Dinhaba.
32And Bela son of Beor reigneth in Edom, and the name of his city [is] Dinhabah;
33A keď zomrel Béla, kraľoval miesto neho Jobáb, syn Zárachov z Bocry.
33and Bela dieth, and reign in his stead doth Jobab son of Zerah from Bozrah;
34A keď zomrel Jobáb, kraľoval miesto neho Chušam z Témanskej zeme.
34and Jobab dieth, and reign in his stead doth Husham from the land of the Temanite.
35A keď zomrel Chušam, kraľoval miesto neho Hadad, syn Bedadov, ktorý zbil Madiana na moábskom poli, a meno jeho mesta bolo Avit.
35And Husham dieth, and reign in his stead doth Hadad son of Bedad (who smiteth Midian in the field of Moab), and the name of his city [is] Avith;
36A keď zomrel Hadad, kraľoval miesto neho Samla z Masréky.
36and Hadad dieth, and reign in his stead doth Samlah of Masrekah;
37A keď zomrel Samla, kraľoval miesto neho Saul z Rechobota nad riekou.
37and Samlah dieth, and reign in his stead doth Saul from Rehoboth of the River;
38A keď zomrel Saul, kraľoval miesto neho Bál-chanán, syn Achborov.
38and Saul dieth, and reign in his stead doth Baal-hanan son of Achbor;
39A keď zomrel Bál-chanán, syn Achborov, kraľoval miesto neho Hadar, a meno jeho mesta bolo Pahu a meno jeho ženy Mehetabeľ, dcéra Matrédy, dcéry Me-zahába.
39and Baal-hanan son of Achbor dieth, and reign in his stead doth Hadar, and the name of his city [is] Pau; and his wife`s name [is] Mehetabel daughter of Matred, daughter of Me-zahab.
40Toto sú tedy mená kniežat Ezavových po ich čeľadiach, po ich miestach a podľa ich mien: knieža Timna, knieža Alva, knieža Jetet,
40And these [are] the names of the chiefs of Esau, according to their families, according to their places, by their names: chief Timnah, chief Alvah, chief Jetheth,
41knieža Aholibáma, knieža Ela, knieža Pínon,
41chief Aholibamah, chief Elah, chief Pinon,
42knieža Kenaz, knieža Téman, knieža Mibcár,
42chief Kenaz, chief Teman, chief Mibzar,
43knieža Magdiel, knieža Íram. Toto boly kniežatá Edomove po svojich sídlach v zemi svojho državia. To je Ezav, otec Edomcov.
43chief Magdiel, chief Iram: these [are] chiefs of Edom, in reference to their dwellings, in the land of their possession; he [is] Esau father of Edom.
