1Hospodin kraľuje! Nech plesá zem! Nech sa radujú tie mnohé ostrovy!
1Jehovah hath reigned, The earth is joyful, many isles rejoice.
2Oblak a mrákava je vôkol neho; spravedlivosť a súd postaťou jeho trónu.
2Cloud and darkness [are] round about Him, Righteousness and judgment the basis of His throne.
3Oheň ide pred ním a vôkol páli jeho protivníkov.
3Fire before Him goeth, And burneth round about His adversaries.
4Jeho blesky osvecujú okruh sveta; vidí to zem a trasie sa.
4Lightened have His lightnings the world, The earth hath seen, and is pained.
5Vrchy sa rozplývajú ako vosk pred Hospodinom, pred Pánom celej zeme.
5Hills, like wax, melted before Jehovah, Before the Lord of all the earth.
6Nebesia oznamujú jeho spravedlivosť, a všetky národy uvidia jeho slávu.
6The heavens declared His righteousness, And all the peoples have seen His honour.
7Nech sa hanbia všetci, ktorí slúžia rytine, ktorí sa chlúbia modlami! Klaňajte sa mu, všetci bohovia!
7Ashamed are all servants of a graven image, Those boasting themselves in idols, Bow yourselves to him, all ye gods.
8Počuje to Sion a bude sa radovať, a budú plesať dcéry Judska, pre tvoje súdy, Hospodine!
8Zion hath heard and rejoiceth, And daughters of Judah are joyful, Because of Thy judgments, O Jehovah.
9Lebo ty, Hospodine, si ten Najvyšší nad celou zemou; veľmi si vyvýšený nad všetkých bohov.
9For Thou, Jehovah, [art] Most High over all the earth, Greatly Thou hast been exalted over all gods.
10Vy, ktorí milujete Hospodina, majte v nenávisti to, čo je zlé! On ostríha duše svojich svätých; vytrhuje ich z ruky bezbožníkov.
10Ye who love Jehovah, hate evil, He is keeping the souls of His saints, From the hand of the wicked he delivereth them.
11Svetlo sa seje spravedlivému a radosť tým, ktorí sú úprimného srdca.
11Light [is] sown for the righteous, And for the upright of heart — joy.
12Radujte sa, spravedliví, v Hospodinovi a oslavujte pamiatku jeho svätosti!
12Rejoice, ye righteous, in Jehovah, And give thanks at the remembrance of his holiness!
