¹This is the book of the generations of Adam. In the day that God created man, in the likeness of God made he him;

²Muža a ženu ich stvoril a požehnal ich a nazval ich meno Adam, v deň, v ktorý boli stvorení.

²male and female created he them, and blessed them, and called their name Adam, in the day when they were created.

³Adam žil sto tridsať rokov a splodil syna na svoju podobu a podľa svojho obrazu a nazval jeho meno Set.

³And Adam lived a hundred and thirty years, and begat [a son] in his own likeness, after his image; and called his name Seth:

⁴A bolo dní Adamových po splodení Seta osemsto rokov, a splodil synov a dcéry.

⁴and the days of Adam after he begat Seth were eight hundred years: and he begat sons and daughters.

⁵A bolo všetkých dní Adamových, ktoré žil, deväťsto tridsať rokov, a zomrel.

⁵And all the days that Adam lived were nine hundred and thirty years: and he died.

⁶A Set žil sto päť rokov a splodil Enoša.

⁶And Seth lived a hundred and five years, and begat Enosh:

⁷A Set žil po splodení Enoša osemsto sedem rokov a splodil synov a dcéry.

⁷and Seth lived after he begat Enosh eight hundred and seven years, and begat sons and daughters:

⁸A bolo všetkých dní Setových deväťsto dvanásť rokov, a zomrel.

⁸and all the days of Seth were nine hundred and twelve years: and he died.

⁹A Enoš žil deväťdesiat rokov a splodil Kénana.

⁹And Enosh lived ninety years, and begat Kenan.

¹⁰A Enoš žil po splodení Kénana osemsto pätnásť a splodil synov a dcéry.

¹⁰and Enosh lived after he begat Kenan eight hundred and fifteen years, and begat sons and daughters:

¹¹A bolo všetkých dní Enošových deväťsto päť rokov, a zomrel.

¹¹and all the days of Enosh were nine hundred and five years: and he died.

¹²A Kénan žil sedemdesiat rokov a splodil Mahalaléla.

¹²And Kenan lived seventy years, and begat Mahalalel:

¹³A Kénan žil po splodení Mahalaléla osemsto štyridsať rokov a splodil synov a dcéry.

¹³and Kenan lived after he begat Mahalalel eight hundred and forty years, and begat sons and daughters:

¹⁴A bolo všetkých dní Kénanových deväťsto desať rokov, a zomrel.

¹⁴and all the days of Kenan were nine hundred and ten years: and he died.

¹⁵A Mahalalél žil šesťdesiatpäť rokov a splodil Jareda.

¹⁵And Mahalalel lived sixty and five years, and begat Jared:

¹⁶A Mahalalél žil po splodení Jareda osemsto tridsať rokov, a splodil synov a dcéry.

¹⁶And Mahalalel lived after he begat Jared eight hundred and thirty years, and begat sons and daughters:

¹⁷A bolo všetkých dní Mahalalélových osemsto deväťdesiatpäť rokov, a zomrel.

¹⁷and all the days of Mahalalel were eight hundred ninety and five years: and he died.

¹⁸A Jared žil sto šesťdesiatdva rokov a splodil Enocha.

¹⁸And Jared lived a hundred sixty and two years, and begat Enoch:

¹⁹and Jared lived after he begat Enoch eight hundred years, and begat sons and daughters:

²⁰A bolo všetkých dní Jaredových deväťsto šesťdesiatdva rokov, a zomrel.

²⁰And all the days of Jared were nine hundred sixty and two years: and he died.

²¹A Enoch žil šesťdesiatpäť rokov a splodil Matuzalema.

²¹And Enoch lived sixty and five years, and begat Methuselah:

²²A Enoch chodil s Bohom po splodení Matuzalema tristo rokov a splodil synov a dcéry.

²²and Enoch walked with God after he begat Methuselah three hundred years, and begat sons and daughters:

²³A bolo všetkých dní Enochových tristo šesťdesiatpäť rokov.

²³and all the days of Enoch were three hundred sixty and five years:

²⁴A Enoch chodil s Bohom, a nebolo ho, lebo ho vzal Bôh.

²⁴and Enoch walked with God: and he was not; for God took him.

²⁵A Matuzalem žil sto osemdesiatsedem rokov a splodil Lámecha.

²⁵And Methuselah lived a hundred eighty and seven years, and begat Lamech:

²⁶A Matuzalem žil po splodení Lámecha sedemsto osemdesiatdva rokov a splodil synov a dcéry.

²⁶and Methuselah lived after he begat Lamech seven hundred eighty and two years, and begat sons and daughters.

²⁷A bolo všetkých dní Matuzalemových deväťsto šesťdesiatdeväť rokov, a zomrel.

²⁷And all the days of Methuselah were nine hundred sixty and nine years: and he died.

²⁸A Lámech žil sto osemdesiatdva rokov a splodil syna.

²⁸And Lamech lived a hundred eighty and two years, and begat a son:

²⁹A nazval jeho meno Noach povediac: Tento nás poteší a oddýchneme si od svojho diela a od bolestí práce svojich rúk, od zeme, ktorej zlorečil Hospodin.

²⁹and he called his name Noah, saying, This same shall comfort us in our work and in the toil of our hands, [which cometh] because of the ground which Jehovah hath cursed.

³⁰A Lámech žil po splodení Noacha päťsto deväťdesiatpäť rokov a splodil synov a dcéry.

³⁰And Lamech lived after he begat Noah five hundred ninety and five years, and begat sons and daughters:

³¹A bolo všetkých dní Lámechových sedemsto sedemdesiatsedem rokov, a zomrel.

³¹And all the days of Lamech were seven hundred seventy and seven years: and he died.

³²A Noachových bolo päťsto rokov, a Noach splodil Sema, Chama a Jafeta.

³²And Noah was five hundred years old: And Noah begat Shem, Ham, and Japheth.
