¹A Hospodin hovoril Mojžišovi a riekol:

¹And Jehovah spoke to Moses, saying,

²Vidz, menom som povolal Becaleéla, syna Úriho, syna Húrovho, z pokolenia Júdovho.

²See, I have called by name Bezaleel the son of Uri, the son of Hur, of the tribe of Judah,

³A naplnil som ho duchom Božím, múdrosťou, rozumnosťou a umením, a to vo všelijakom diele,

³and have filled him with the spirit of God, in wisdom, and in understanding, and in knowledge, and in every work,

⁴aby bol schopný vymyslieť dôvtipné veci a pracovať v zlate, striebre a v medi

⁴to devise artistic work -- to work in gold, and in silver, and in copper,

⁵a rezať kameň na osádzanie ako i rezať drevo, pracovať v každom diele.

⁵and in cutting of stones, for setting, and for carving of timber -- to work in all manner of work.

⁶A ja, hľa, dal som Aholiába, syna Achisámachovho, z pokolenia Dánovho, aby pracoval s ním, a do srdca všetkých, ktorí sú múdreho srdca, dal som múdrosť, a spravia všetko, čo som ti prikázal:

⁶And I, behold, I have given with him Aholiab the son of Ahisamach, of the tribe of Dan; and in the heart of every one that is wise-hearted have I given wisdom, that they may make all that I have commanded thee --

⁷stán shromaždenia, truhlu svedoctva a pokrývku, ktorá bude na nej, a všetko náradie stánu,

⁷the tent of meeting and the ark of the testimony, and the mercy-seat that is thereupon, and all the utensils of the tent,

⁸aj stôl a jeho nádoby, čistý svietnik a všetko jeho náčinie a oltár pre kadivo

⁸and the table and its utensils, and the pure lamp-stand and all its utensils, and the altar of incense;

⁹aj oltár pre zápaly a všetko jeho náradie aj umyvák a jeho podstavec,

⁹and the altar of burnt-offering and all its utensils, and the laver and its stand;

¹⁰i jemne pletené rúcha do služby a sväté rúcha pre Árona, kňaza, a rúcha jeho synov, aby konali kňazskú službu,

¹⁰and the garments of service, both the holy garments of Aaron the priest, and the garments of his sons, to serve as priests;

¹¹a olej na pomazávanie a kadivo z voňavých vecí pre svätyňu, všetko spravia tak, ako som ti prikázal.

¹¹and the anointing oil, and the incense of fragrant drugs for the sanctuary: according to all that I have commanded thee shall they do.

¹²A ešte povedal Hospodin Mojžišovi a riekol:

¹²And Jehovah spoke to Moses, saying,

¹³A ty hovor synom Izraelovým a povedz: A však mojej soboty budete ostríhať, lebo je to znamením medzi mnou a medzi vami po vašich pokoleniach, aby sa vedelo, že ja som Hospodin, ktorý vás posväcujem.

¹³And thou, speak thou unto the children of Israel, saying, Surely my sabbaths shall ye keep; for this is a sign between me and you throughout your generations, that ye may know that it is I, Jehovah, who do hallow you.

¹⁴A budete ostríhať sobotu, lebo vám je svätá; kto by ju poškvrnil, istotne zomrie, lebo ktokoľvek by v nej robil nejakú prácu, tá duša bude vyťatá zprostred svojho ľudu.

¹⁴Keep the sabbath, therefore; for it is holy unto you; every one that profaneth it shall certainly be put to death: yea, whoever doeth work on it, that soul shall be cut off from among his peoples.

¹⁵Šesť dní sa bude robiť práca, a v siedmy deň je sobota odpočinutia, sväté Hospodinovi. Každý, kto by robil nejakú prácu v sobotný deň, istotne zomrie.

¹⁵Six days shall work be done; but on the seventh day is the sabbath of rest, holy to Jehovah: whoever doeth work on the sabbath day shall certainly be put to death.

¹⁶Preto budú synovia Izraelovi ostríhať sobotu tak, aby svätili sobotu po svojich pokoleniach večnou smluvou.

¹⁶And the children of Israel shall keep the sabbath, to observe the sabbath throughout their generations -- [it is] an everlasting covenant.

¹⁷Je to znamením medzi mnou a medzi synmi Izraelovými na veky; lebo šesť dní činil Hospodin nebesia a zem a siedmeho dňa prestal a oddýchol si.

¹⁷It shall be a sign between me and the children of Israel for ever; for [in] six days Jehovah made the heavens and the earth, and on the seventh day he rested, and was refreshed.

¹⁸A dal Mojžišovi, keď s ním dohovoril na vrchu Sinai, dve dosky svedoctva, kamenné dosky, popísané prstom Božím.

¹⁸And he gave to Moses, when he had ended speaking with him on mount Sinai, the two tables of testimony, tables of stone, written with the finger of God.
