¹A Hospodin hovoril Mojžišovi a riekol:

¹And Jehovah spoke to Moses, saying,

²Prikáž synom Izraelovým, aby vyhnali z tábora všetkých malomocných a všetkých, ktorý tečú, i všetkých nečistých, poškvrnených od mŕtveho,

²Command the children of Israel, that they put out of the camp every leper, and every one that hath an issue, and whosoever is defiled by a dead person:

³vyženiete jako osoby mužského tak aj osoby ženského pohlavia; von za tábor ich vyženiete, aby nezanečisťovali svojich táborov, medzi ktorými ja bývam.

³both male and female shall ye put out; outside the camp shall ye put them, that they defile not their camps, in the midst whereof I dwell.

⁴A synovia Izraelovi učinili tak a vyhnali ich von za tábor, tak ako hovoril Hospodin Mojžišovi, tak učinili synovia Izraelovi.

⁴And the children of Israel did so, and put them outside the camp: as Jehovah had said to Moses, so did the children of Israel.

⁵A Hospodin hovoril Mojžišovi a riekol:

⁵And Jehovah spoke to Moses, saying,

⁶Hovor synom Izraelovým: Keby niektorý muž alebo niektorá žena učinili nejaký hriech, akýkoľvek hriech človeka, dopustiac sa tajne prestúpenia proti Hospodinovi, a previnila by sa tá duša,

⁶Speak unto the children of Israel, When a man or woman shall commit any of all the sins of man to work unfaithfulness against Jehovah, and that soul is guilty,

⁷vtedy vyznajú svoj hriech, ktorý učinili. A človek navráti to, čím sa previnil, v jeho plnej sume a pridá k tomu jeho pätinu a dá tomu, proti komu sa previnil.

⁷then they shall confess their sin which they have done; and he shall recompense his trespass according to the principal thereof, and shall add unto it the fifth part thereof, and give it unto him against whom he hath trespassed.

⁸A keby oškodený človek nemal príbuzného, ktorému by vrátil to, čím sa previnil, bude vrátené Hospodinovi, kňazovi, krome barana obeti pokrytia hriechu, ktorým pokryjú na ňom jeho hriech.

⁸And if the man have no kinsman to recompense the trespass unto, the trespass which is recompensed to Jehovah shall be the priest's, besides the ram of the atonement, wherewith an atonement is made for him.

⁹A každá obeť pozdvihnutia, čo do jakýchkoľvek svätých vecí od synov Izraelových, ktoré by doniesli kňazovi, jeho bude.

⁹And every heave-offering of all the holy things of the children of Israel, which they present unto the priest, shall be his.

¹⁰A čo kto má zo svätých vecí, jeho bude. Čo kto dá kňazovi, jeho bude.

¹⁰And every man's hallowed things shall be his: whatever any man giveth the priest shall be his.

¹¹A Hospodin hovoril Mojžišovi a riekol:

¹¹And Jehovah spoke to Moses, saying,

¹²Hovor synom Izraelovým a povieš im: Nech by to bol ktorýkoľvek muž, keby sa odchýlila jeho žena a dopustila by sa proti nemu hriechu nevery,

¹²Speak unto the children of Israel, and say unto them, If any man's wife go astray, and commit unfaithfulness against him,

¹³takže by ležal niekto s ňou a obcoval telesne, a bolo by to skryté pred očima jej muža, a tajila by sa, kým by bola poškvrnená, a nebolo by svedka proti nej, a sama by nebola prichytená,

¹³and a man lie with her carnally, and it be hid from the eyes of her husband, and she be defiled in secret, and there be no witness against her, and she have not been caught;

¹⁴a keby prišiel na neho duch žiarlivosti, takže by žiarlil na svoju ženu a ona by bola skutočne poškvrnená, alebo keby prišiel na neho duch žiarlivosti, takže by žiarlil na svoju ženu, kým by ona nebola poškvrnená,

¹⁴and the spirit of jealousy come upon him, and he be jealous of his wife, and she have been defiled, -- or if the spirit of jealousy come upon him, and he be jealous of his wife, and she have not been defiled,

¹⁵vtedy dovedie človek svoju ženu ku kňazovi a donesie i jej obetný dar s ňou, desatinu efy jačmennej múky. Nenaleje na ňu oleja ani nedá k nej kadiva, lebo je to obilná obeť z veľkej žiarlivosti, obilná obeť pamätná, upomínajúca na neprávosť.

¹⁵-- then shall the man bring his wife unto the priest, and he shall bring her offering for her, a tenth part of an ephah of barley-meal; he shall pour no oil upon it, nor put frankincense thereon; for it is an oblation of jealousy, a memorial oblation, bringing iniquity to remembrance.

¹⁶A kňaz ju dovedie a postaví ju pred Hospodina.

¹⁶And the priest shall bring her near, and set her before Jehovah.

¹⁷Potom naberie kňaz svätej vody do hlinenej nádoby a kňaz vezme i prachu, ktorý bude na zemi v príbytku, a dá do vody.

¹⁷And the priest shall take holy water in an earthen vessel; and the priest shall take of the dust that is on the floor of the tabernacle, and put it into the water.

¹⁸A kňaz postaví ženu pred Hospodina a rozpustí hlavu ženy a dá na jej ruky obilnú obeť pamätnú; je to obilná obeť veľkej žiarlivosti, a v ruke kňaza bude horká voda, ktorá pôsobí kliatbu.

¹⁸And the priest shall set the woman before Jehovah, and uncover the woman's head, and put the memorial oblation in her hands, which is the jealousy offering; and in the hand of the priest shall be the bitter water that bringeth the curse.

¹⁹A kňaz ju zaviaže prísahou, a povie žene: Ak neležal s tebou cudzí muž, a jestli si sa neodchýlila od svojho muža do nečistoty, buď čistá od tejto horkej vody, ktorá pôsobí kliatbu.

¹⁹And the priest shall adjure her, and say unto the woman, If no man have lain with thee, and if thou hast not gone astray in uncleanness, in being with another instead of thy husband, be free from this bitter water that bringeth the curse.

²⁰Ale jestli si sa ty odchýlila od svojho muža a jestli si poškvrnená, a ležal s tebou a obcoval s tebou telesne niekto iný krome tvojho muža -

²⁰But if thou hast gone astray to another instead of thy husband, and hast been defiled, and a man other than thy husband have lain with thee,

²¹a tedy zaviaže kňaz ženu prísahou kliatby, a kňaz povie žene: Nech ťa vydá Hospodin v zlorečenstvo a v preklínanie prostred tvojho ľudu dajúc Hospodin to, aby tvoje bedro padalo s teba a tvoje brucho napuchlo.

²¹-- then the priest shall adjure the woman with the oath of cursing, and the priest shall say unto the woman: Jehovah make thee a curse and an oath among thy people, when Jehovah doth make thy thigh to shrink, and thy belly to swell;

²²A vtedy vojde táto voda, ktorá pôsobí kliatbu, do tvojho života, aby spôsobila to, že by napuchlo tvoje brucho a odpadlo tvoje bedro. A žena povie na to: Ameň, ameň.

²²and this water that bringeth the curse shall enter into thy bowels, to make the belly to swell, and the thigh to shrink. And the woman shall say, Amen, amen.

²³Potom zapíše kňaz tieto kliatby do knihy a smyje do horkej vody

²³And the priest shall write these curses in a book, and shall blot them out with the bitter water,

²⁴a dá žene piť horkú vodu, ktorá pôsobí kliatbu, a voda, ktorá pôsobí kliatbu, vojde do nej a obráti sa na horkosť.

²⁴and he shall cause the woman to drink the bitter water that bringeth the curse, that the water that bringeth the curse may enter into her for bitterness.

²⁵Potom vezme kňaz z ruky ženy obilnú obeť veľkej žiarlivosti a bude ju sem a ta vznášať pred Hospodinom a bude ju obetovať na oltári.

²⁵And the priest shall take out of the woman's hand the oblation of jealousy, and shall wave the oblation before Jehovah, and shall present it at the altar.

²⁶A kňaz vezme za hrsť z obilnej obeti, jej obeť na pamäť, a bude páliť na oltári a potom dá žene vypiť vodu.

²⁶And the priest shall take a handful of the oblation as a memorial thereof, and burn it upon the altar; and afterwards he shall make the woman drink the water.

²⁷A keď jej dá vypiť vodu, stane sa, ak je poškvrnená a dopustila sa hriechu nevery proti svojmu mužovi, že vojde do nej voda, ktorá pôsobí kliatbu, a obráti sa na horkosť, a jej brucho napuchne, a jej bedro odpadne, a žena bude na kliatbu prostred svojho ľudu.

²⁷And when he hath made her to drink the water, then it shall come to pass, if she have been defiled, and have committed unfaithfulness against her husband, that the water that bringeth the curse shall enter into her, for bitterness, and her belly shall swell, and her thigh shall shrink; and the woman shall become a curse among her people.

²⁸Ale ak je žena nie poškvrnená, ale je čistá, bude nevinná a bude rodiť deti.

²⁸But if the woman have not been defiled, and be clean, then she shall be clear, and shall conceive seed.

²⁹To je zákon o žiarlivosti, keby sa odchýlila žena od svojho muža a poškvrnila sa,

²⁹This is the law of jealousies, when a wife goeth astray to another instead of her husband and is defiled,

³⁰alebo zákon o mužovi, na ktorého by prišiel duch žiarlivosti a žiarlil by na svoju ženu. A postaví ženu pred Hospodina, a kňaz jej učiní všetko podľa toho zákona.

³⁰or when the spirit of jealousy cometh upon a man, and he is jealous as regards his wife; then shall he set the woman before Jehovah, and the priest shall do to her according to all this law.

³¹A muž bude prostý neprávosti. Ale taká žena ponesie svoju neprávosť.

³¹Then shall the man be free from iniquity, but that woman shall bear her iniquity.
