¹A videl som anjela, sostupujúceho s neba, ktorý mal kľúč od priepasti a na svojej ruke veľkú reťaz.

¹I saw an angel coming down out of heaven, having the key of the abyss and a great chain in his hand.

²A chopil draka, toho starého hada, ktorý je diabol a satan, a poviazal ho na tisíc rokov

²He seized the dragon, the old serpent, which is the devil and Satan, who deceives the whole inhabited earth, and bound him for a thousand years,

³a vrhnul ho do priepasti a zavrel ho a zapečatil nad ním, aby viac nezvodil národov, dokiaľ by sa nedokonalo tisíc rokov. A potom musí byť prepustený na malý čas.

³and cast him into the abyss, and shut it, and sealed it over him, that he should deceive the nations no more, until the thousand years were finished. After this, he must be freed for a short time.

⁴A videl som tróny, a posadali sa na ne, a dal sa im súd, a videl som i duše postínaných pre svedoctvo Ježišovo a pre slovo Božie, a ktorí sa neklaňali šelme ani jej obrazu a neprijali znamenia na svoje čelo ani na svoju ruku. A ožili a kraľovali s Kristom tisíc rokov.

⁴I saw thrones, and they sat on them, and judgment was given to them. I saw the souls of those who had been beheaded for the testimony of Jesus, and for the word of God, and such as didn’t worship the beast nor his image, and didn’t receive the mark on their forehead and on their hand. They lived, and reigned with Christ for a thousand years.

⁵A ostatní mŕtvi neožili, až sa dokoná tisíc rokov. To je prvé vzkriesenie.

⁵The rest of the dead didn’t live until the thousand years were finished. This is the first resurrection.

⁶Blahoslavený a svätý, kto má diel na prvom vzkriesení. Nad tými druhá smrť nemá moci. Ale budú kňazmi Boha a Krista a budú s ním kraľovať tisíc rokov.

⁶Blessed and holy is he who has part in the first resurrection. Over these, the second death has no power, but they will be priests of God and of Christ, and will reign with him one thousand years.

⁷A keď sa dokoná tých tisíc rokov, rozviazaný bude satan a prepustený zo svojho žalára

⁷And after the thousand years, Satan will be released from his prison,

⁸a vyjde, aby zvodil národy, ktoré sú na štyroch uhloch zeme, Góga a Magóga, aby ich shromaždil do boja, ktorých počet je ako piesok mora.

⁸and he will come out to deceive the nations which are in the four corners of the earth, Gog and Magog, to gather them together to the war; the number of whom is as the sand of the sea.

⁹A vyšli na šír zeme a obkľúčili tábor svätých i to milované mesto. Ale sostúpil oheň od Boha z neba a strávil ich.

⁹They went up over the breadth of the earth, and surrounded the camp of the saints, and the beloved city. Fire came down out of heaven from God, and devoured them.

¹⁰A diabol, ktorý ich zvodil, bol uvrhnutý do jazera ohňa a síry, kde je i šelma i falošný prorok, a budú mučení dňom i nocou na veky vekov.

¹⁰The devil who deceived them was thrown into the lake of fire and sulfur, where the beast and the false prophet are also. They will be tormented day and night forever and ever.

¹¹A videl som veľký trón biely i sediaceho na ňom, pred ktorého tvárou utiekla zem i nebo, a miesto im nebolo najdené.

¹¹I saw a great white throne, and him who sat on it, from whose face the earth and the heaven fled away. There was found no place for them.

¹²A videl som mŕtvych, malých i veľkých, stojacich pred trónom Božím. A otvorily sa knihy, a otvorila sa aj iná kniha, to jest kniha života, a mŕtvi boli súdení podľa toho, čo bolo napísané v knihách, podľa svojich skutkov.

¹²I saw the dead, the great and the small, standing before the throne, and they opened books. Another book was opened, which is the book of life. The dead were judged out of the things which were written in the books, according to their works.

¹³A more vydalo mŕtvych, ktorí boli v ňom, i smrť i peklo daly mŕtvych, ktorí boli v nich, a boli súdení jeden každý podľa svojich skutkov.

¹³The sea gave up the dead who were in it. Death and Hades or, Hell gave up the dead who were in them. They were judged, each one according to his works.

¹⁴A smrť a peklo boly uvrhnuté do toho ohnivého jazera. Toto ohnivé jazero je tá druhá smrť.

¹⁴Death and Hades or, Hell were thrown into the lake of fire. This is the second death, the lake of fire.

¹⁵A jestli niekto nebol najdený zapísaný v knihe života, bol uvrhnutý do ohnivého jazera.

¹⁵If anyone was not found written in the book of life, he was cast into the lake of fire.
