²In zgodi se v poslednjih dneh, da bo gora hiše GOSPODOVE trdno postavljena na vrhu drugih gorá in povišana nad hribe, in vsi narodi se bodo stekali k njej.

²It shall happen in the latter days, that the mountain of Yahweh’s house shall be established on the top of the mountains, and shall be raised above the hills; and all nations shall flow to it.

³In mnoga ljudstva pojdejo, govoreč: Pridite, da gremo na goro GOSPODOVO, v hišo Boga Jakobovega, da bi nas učil o potih svojih in da bomo hodili po stezah njegovih! Zakaj s Siona izide nauk in beseda GOSPODOVA iz Jeruzalema;

³Many peoples shall go and say, “Come, let’s go up to the mountain of Yahweh, to the house of the God of Jacob; and he will teach us of his ways, and we will walk in his paths.” For out of Zion the law shall go forth, and the word of Yahweh from Jerusalem.

⁴in on bo sodil med narodi in pravico izvršil mnogim ljudstvom. In pokujejo meče svoje v lemeže in sulice svoje v srpe; narod ne dvigne meča nad narod, in več se ne bodo učili bojevati.

⁴He will judge between the nations, and will decide concerning many peoples; and they shall beat their swords into plowshares, and their spears into pruning hooks. Nation shall not lift up sword against nation, neither shall they learn war any more.

⁵O hiša Jakobova, pridite in hodimo v svetlobi GOSPODOVI!

⁶Kajti zavrgel si, Bog, ljudstvo svoje, hišo Jakobovo, ker so polni razvad z Jutrovega in so vedeži kakor Filistejci in se družijo z otroki tujcev.

⁶For you have forsaken your people, the house of Jacob, because they are filled from the east, with those who practice divination like the Philistines, and they clasp hands with the children of foreigners.

⁷In njih dežela je polna srebra in zlata in njih zakladom ni konca; polna je tudi njih dežela konj in njih vozom ni konca.

⁷Their land is full of silver and gold, neither is there any end of their treasures. Their land also is full of horses, neither is there any end of their chariots.

⁸Polna je tudi njih dežela malikov; klanjajo se rok svojih delu, temu, kar so njih prstje storili.

⁸Their land also is full of idols. They worship the work of their own hands, that which their own fingers have made.

⁹A pripognjen bo človek prostak in ponižan bo mož odličnjak, ker jim ne moreš prizanesti.

⁹Man is brought low, and mankind is humbled; therefore don’t forgive them.

¹⁰Zlezi v pečino ter skrij se v prahu izpred groze GOSPODOVE in izpred slave veličastva njegovega!

¹⁰Enter into the rock, and hide in the dust, from before the terror of Yahweh, and from the glory of his majesty.

¹¹Ponižan bo človek prevzetnih oči in visokost človeška se potlači, in povišan bo GOSPOD sam tisti dan.

¹¹The lofty looks of man will be brought low, the haughtiness of men will be bowed down, and Yahweh alone will be exalted in that day.

¹²Kajti GOSPOD nad vojskami ima določen dan proti vsemu, kar je prevzetno in visoko, in proti vsakemu, ki se povišuje, da se poniža;

¹²For there will be a day of Yahweh of Armies for all that is proud and haughty, and for all that is lifted up; and it shall be brought low:

¹³in proti vsem cedram na Libanonu, visokim in ponosnim, in proti vsem hrastom v Basanu

¹³For all the cedars of Lebanon, that are high and lifted up, for all the oaks of Bashan,

¹⁴in proti vsem visokim goram in proti vsem vzvišenim gričem

¹⁴For all the high mountains, for all the hills that are lifted up,

¹⁵in proti vsakemu visokemu stolpu in proti vsakemu trdnemu zidu

¹⁵For every lofty tower, for every fortified wall,

¹⁶in proti vsem ladjam tarsiškim in proti vsem podobam najmilejšim.

¹⁶For all the ships of Tarshish, and for all pleasant imagery.

¹⁷Tedaj se potlači prevzetnost človeška in vzvišenost ljudi se poniža, in povišan bo GOSPOD sam tisti dan.

¹⁷The loftiness of man shall be bowed down, and the haughtiness of men shall be brought low; and Yahweh alone shall be exalted in that day.

¹⁸In maliki izginejo dočista.

¹⁹In pojdejo v skalne brloge in v razpoke zemlje izpred groze GOSPODOVE in izpred slave veličastva njegovega, kadar se vzdigne, da ostraši zemljo.

¹⁹Men shall go into the caves of the rocks, and into the holes of the earth, from before the terror of Yahweh, and from the glory of his majesty, when he arises to shake the earth mightily.

²⁰Tisti dan vrže človek krtom in netopirjem malike svoje srebrne in zlate malike svoje, ki so mu jih naredili, da se jim poklanja,

²⁰In that day, men shall cast away their idols of silver, and their idols of gold, which have been made for themselves to worship, to the moles and to the bats;

²¹da bi zlezel v votline pečin in v skalne razpoke izpred groze GOSPODOVE in izpred slave veličastva njegovega, ko se vzdigne, da ostraši zemljo.Opustite up v človeka, ki mu je dihanje v nosu! kajti koliko ga je ceniti?

²¹To go into the caverns of the rocks, and into the clefts of the ragged rocks, from before the terror of Yahweh, and from the glory of his majesty, when he arises to shake the earth mightily.
