1In zopet povzdignem oči in vidim, glej, štirje vozovi pridejo izmed dveh gorá; in gori sta bili bronasti gori.
1Again I lifted up my eyes, and saw, and behold, four chariots came out from between two mountains; and the mountains were mountains of brass.
2Pri prvem vozu so bili rdeči konji, pri drugem vozu pa črni konji,
2In the first chariot were red horses; in the second chariot black horses;
3in pri tretjem beli konji, pri četrtem pa pisani, krepki konji.
3in the third chariot white horses; and in the fourth chariot dappled horses, all of them powerful.
4Tedaj izpregovorim in rečem angelu, ki je govoril z menoj: Kaj so ti, gospod moj?
4Then I asked the angel who talked with me, “What are these, my lord?”
5Angel odgovori in mi reče: Ti so četveri vetrovi pod nebom, ki izhajajo, ko so se bili postavili pred vse zemlje Gospodarja.
5The angel answered me, “These are the four winds of the sky, which go forth from standing before the Lord of all the earth.
6Voz, pri katerem so črni konji, gre v severno deželo, in beli gredo za njimi, pisani pa gredo v južno deželo.
6The one with the black horses goes out toward the north country; and the white went out after them; and the dappled went forth toward the south country.”
7In krepki izhajajo in poskušajo iti, da bi predirjali zemljo. In veli: Pojdite, prehodite zemljo! In prehodili so zemljo.
7The strong went out, and sought to go that they might walk back and forth through the earth: and he said, “Go around and through the earth!” So they walked back and forth through the earth.
8In me pokliče in govori z menoj, rekoč: Glej, tisti, ki so šli proti severni deželi, napravijo, da se duh moj upokoji v severni deželi.
8Then he called to me, and spoke to me, saying, “Behold, those who go toward the north country have quieted my spirit in the north country.”

10“Take of them of the captivity, even of Heldai, of Tobijah, and of Jedaiah; and come the same day, and go into the house of Josiah the son of Zephaniah, where they have come from Babylon.
11vzemi torej od njih srebra in zlata in naredi vence in jih deni na glavo Jozuetu, sinu Jozadakovemu, velikemu duhovniku,
11Yes, take silver and gold, and make crowns, and set them on the head of Joshua the son of Jehozadak, the high priest;
12in mu govóri, rekoč: Tako pravi GOSPOD nad vojskami: Glej, mož, Odraslek mu je ime, vzraste s svojega kraja in zidal bo tempelj GOSPODOV.
12and speak to him, saying, ‘Thus says Yahweh of Armies, “Behold, the man whose name is the Branch: and he shall grow up out of his place; and he shall build Yahweh’s temple;
13In on sezida tempelj GOSPODOV in on bo nosil veličastvo ter sedel in gospodoval na prestolu svojem in bode duhovnik na prestolu svojem, in sklep miru bode med njima obema.
13even he shall build Yahweh’s temple; and he shall bear the glory, and shall sit and rule on his throne; and he shall be a priest on his throne; and the counsel of peace shall be between them both.
14In venci bodo Helemu in Tobiju in Jedaju in Henu, sinu Zefanijevemu, za spomin v templju GOSPODOVEM.In kateri so daleč, pridejo in bodo zidali pri templju GOSPODOVEM; in spoznate, da me je GOSPOD nad vojskami poslal k vam. In to se zgodi, ako boste radi poslušali glas GOSPODA, Boga svojega.
14The crowns shall be to Helem, and to Tobijah, and to Jedaiah, and to Hen the son of Zephaniah, for a memorial in Yahweh’s temple.
15In kateri so daleč, pridejo in bodo zidali pri templju GOSPODOVEM; in spoznate, da me je GOSPOD nad vojskami poslal k vam. In to se zgodi, ako boste radi poslušali glas GOSPODA, Boga svojega.
15Those who are far off shall come and build in Yahweh’s temple; and you shall know that Yahweh of Armies has sent me to you. This will happen, if you will diligently obey the voice of Yahweh your God The Hebrew word rendered “God” is “Elohim.” .”’”
