14Naizvozvo Jehu mwanakomana waJehoshafati, mwanakomana waNimishi, akamukira Joramu. (Zvino Joramu wakange achidzivirira RamotiGiriyadhi, iye navaIsiraeri vose, nokuda kwaHazaeri mambo weSiria.
14And Jehu the son of Jehoshaphat, son of Nimshi, conspired against Joram. (Now Joram kept Ramoth-Gilead, he and all Israel, because of Hazael king of Syria;

15and king Joram had returned to be healed in Jizreel of the wounds that the Syrians had given him, when he fought against Hazael king of Syria.) And Jehu said, If it be your will, let not a fugitive escape out of the city to go to tell [it] in Jizreel.
16Naizvozvo Jehu akafamba nengoro, akaenda Jezereeri, nekuti Joramu wakange avetepo. Zvino Ahazia mambo waJudha wakange aendako kuzoona Joramu.

23Ipapo Joramu akadzosa ngoro yake, akatiza, akati kuna Ahazia, Tanyengerwa Ahazia!

26Zvanzi naJehovha, Zvirokwazvo, ndakaona zuro ropa raNabhoti, neropa ravanakomana vake; ini ndichakutsiva pabindu iri romunda, ndizvo zvinotaura Jehovha. Naizvozvo zvino, mutore umukandire pabindu romunda, sezvakataurwa naJehovha.
26Certainly I have seen yesterday the blood of Naboth, and the blood of his sons, saith Jehovah; and I will requite thee in this plot, saith Jehovah. And now, take [and] cast him into the plot, according to the word of Jehovah.
27Asi Ahazia mambo waJudha, wakati achizviona, akatiza nenzira yakapfuura napaimba yomunda, Jehu akamutevera, akati, Muuraye naiyewo mungoro. Vakamubaya pajinga pegomo reGuri riri paIbhureami. Akatizira Megidho, akafirapo.

31Zvino Jehu akati achipinda napasuwo, akati, Kunorugare here, nhai iwe Zimiri, muurayi watenzi wako?
31And when Jehu came in at the gate, she said, Is it peace, Zimri, murderer of his master?
32Iye akatarira kumusoro kuhwindo, akati, Ndianiko unonzwana neni? Ndianiko? Ipapo varanda vaviri kana vatatu vakatarira kwaari napahwindo.
32And he lifted up his face to the window, and said, Who is on my side? who? And two or three chamberlains looked out to him.

37and the carcase of Jezebel shall be as dung upon the open field in the plot of Jizreel, so that they shall not say, This is Jezebel.
