Darby's Translation

2 Thessalonians

3

1Pakupedzisira, hama, tinyengetererei, kuti shoko raIshe rimhanye nekukudzwa kunyange sezvinoitwa nemwi;
1For the rest, brethren, pray for us, that the word of the Lord may run and be glorified, even as also with you;
2uye kuti tisunungurwe kuvanhu vasakarurama nevakaipa; nekuti rutendo harwusi rwevose.
2and that we may be delivered from bad and evil men, for faith [is] not [the portion] of all.
3Asi Ishe wakatendeka, uchakusimbisai, nekukuchengetai kune wakaipa.
3But the Lord is faithful, who shall establish you and keep [you] from evil.
4Uye tine chivimbo muna Ishe maererano nemwi, kuti munoita zvinhu zvose zvatinokurairai uye muchazviita.
4But we trust in the Lord as to you, that the things which we enjoin, ye both do and will do.
5Asi Ishe ngaatungamirire moyo yenyu murudo rwaMwari, nemumoyo murefu waKristu.
5But the Lord direct your hearts into the love of God, and into the patience of the Christ.
6Zvino tinokurairai hama muzita raIshe wedu Jesu Kristu, kuti muzviraure pahama imwe neimwe inofamba zvisakafanira uye kwete nemirairo yamakagamuchira kwatiri;
6Now we enjoin you, brethren, in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ, that ye withdraw from every brother walking disorderly and not according to the instruction which he received from us.
7Nekuti imwi mumene munoziva kuti munofanira kutitevera sei, nekuti hatina kufamba zvisakafanira pakati penyu;
7For ye know yourselves how ye ought to imitate us, because we have not walked disorderly among you;
8uye hatina kudya chikafu chemunhu pachena, asi takashingaira nekushanda nekutambudzika siku nesikati, kuti tisava mutoro kune umwe wenyu;
8nor have we eaten bread from any one without cost; but in toil and hardship working night and day not to be chargeable to any one of you:
9kwete nekuti hatina mvumo, asi kuti tipe muenzaniso kwamuri kuti mutitevere.
9not that we have not the right, but that we might give ourselves as an example to you, in order to your imitating us.
10Nekuti kunyange pataiva nemwi, takakurairai izvi, kuti: Kana umwe asingadi kushanda, ngaarege kudyawo.
10For also when we were with you we enjoined you this, that if any man does not like to work, neither let him eat.
11Nekuti tinonzwa kuti kune vamwe vanofamba pakati penyu zvisakafanira, vasingatongoshandi zvachose, asi vachiita zvisina maturo.
11For we hear that [there are] some walking among you disorderly, not working at all, but busybodies.
12Zvino avo vakadaro tinoraira nekukurudzira kubudikidza naIshe wedu Jesu Kristu, kuti vashande nekunyarara vadye chikafu chavo.
12Now such we enjoin and exhort in [the] Lord Jesus Christ, that working quietly they eat their own bread.
13Asi imwi, hama, musaneta pakuita zvakanaka.
13But *ye*, brethren, do not faint in well-doing.
14Asi kana ani nani asingateereri shoko redu netsamba iyi, mutarisise munhu uyo, kuti murege kufambidzana naye, kuti anyare;
14But if any one obey not our word by the letter, mark that man, and do not keep company with him, that he may be ashamed of himself;
15uye musamuidza semuvengi, asi mumuraire sehama.
15and do not esteem him as an enemy, but admonish [him] as a brother.
16Zvino, Ishe werugare amene ngaakupei rugare nguva dzose nemitoo yose. Ishe ngaave nemwi mose.
16But the Lord of peace himself give you peace continually in every way. The Lord [be] with you all.
17Kwaziso neruoko rwangu, ini Pauro, ndicho chiratidzo patsamba dzose; ndinonyora saizvozvo.
17The salutation by the hand of me, Paul, which is [the] mark in every letter; so I write.
18Nyasha dzaIshe wedu Jesu Kristu ngadzive nemwi mose. Ameni.
18The grace of our Lord Jesus Christ [be] with you all.
