¹And the second lot came forth to Simeon, for the tribe of the children of Simeon according to their families; and their inheritance was within the inheritance of the children of Judah.

²Panhaka yavo vakanga vane Bheeri-shebha, kana Shebha, neMoradha,

²And they had in their inheritance Beer-sheba, and Sheba, and Moladah,

³neHazari-shuari, neBhara, neEzemi,

³and Hazar-Shual, and Balah, and Ezem,

⁴neEritoradhi, neBheturi, neHoma,

⁴and Eltolad, and Bethul, and Hormah,

⁵neZikiragi, neBheti-marikabhoti, neHazari-susa,

⁵and Ziklag, and Beth-marcaboth, and Hazar-susah,

⁶neBheti-rebhaoti, neSharuheni; maguta ane gumi namatatu nemisha yawo.

⁶and Beth-lebaoth, and Sharuhen: thirteen cities and their hamlets;

⁷Aini, neRimoni, neEteri, neAshani; maguta mana nemisha yawo ;

⁷Ain, Rimmon, and Ether, and Ashan: four cities and their hamlets;

⁸misha yose yakapoteredza maguta iwayo kusvikira paBhaarati-bheeri, raiva Rama rezasi. Ndiyo yakanga iri nhaka yorudzi rwavana vaSimioni nemhuri dzavo.

⁸and all the hamlets that are round these cities to Baalath-beer, [that is] Ramah of the south. This is the inheritance of the tribe of the children of Simeon according to their families.

⁹Nhaka yavana vaSimioni yakanga yato rwa pamugove wavana vaJudha, nekuti mugove wavana vaJudha wakange uri mukurusa; naizvozvo vana vaSimioni vakapiwa nhaka pakati penhaka yavo.

⁹Out of the lot of the children of Judah was the inheritance of the children of Simeon; for the portion of the children of Judah was too great for them, and the children of Simeon inherited within their inheritance.

¹⁰Mugove wechitatu wakapiwa vana vaZebhuruni, nemhuri dzavo; muganhu wenhaka yavo wakasvika paSaridhi.

¹⁰And the third lot came up for the children of Zebulun according to their families. And the border of their inheritance was unto Sarid;

¹¹Muganhu wavo wakakwira kumavirazuva, kusvikira paMarara, ndokusvikira paDhabhesheti, ndokusvikira kurukova rwaiva pamberi peJokineamu;

¹¹and their border went up westwards, and [to] Marealah, and reached to Dabbesheth, and reached to the torrent that is before Jokneam;

¹²kubva paSaridhi wakadzokera kumabvazuva, kunobuda zuva, kusvikira kumuganhu weKisiroti-tabhori, ndokubudira kuDhabherati, ndokukwira Jafia;

¹²and turned from Sarid eastward, toward the sun-rising, to the border of Chisloth-Tabor, and went out to Dabrath, and went up to Japhia;

¹³kubva ipapo wakapfuura kumabvazuva uchienda Gatiheferi, kusvikira paEti-kazini, ndokuguma paRimoni, rinosvika paNea;

¹³and from thence it passed eastward toward the sun-rising to Gath-Hepher, to Eth-kazin, and went out to Rimmon which reaches to Neah;

¹⁴zvino muganhu ndokudzoka kurutivi rwokumusoro, ndokuenda Hanatoni, ndokuguma pamupata weIfitaeri;

¹⁴and the border turned round it northwards to Hannathon: and ended in the valley of Jiphthah-el; ...

¹⁵neKatati, neNaharari, neShimuroni, neIdhara, neBheterehemu; maguta ane gumi namaviri nemisha yawo.

¹⁵and Kattath, and Nahalal, and Shimron, and Jidalah, and Beth-lehem: twelve cities and their hamlets.

¹⁶Ndiyo yakanga iri nhaka yavana vaZebhuruni, nemhuri dzavo, maguta iwayo nemisha yawo.

¹⁶This was the inheritance of the children of Zebulun according to their families, these cities and their hamlets.

¹⁷Mugove wechina wakapiwa Isakari, ivo vana vaIsakari, nemhuri dzavo.

¹⁷The fourth lot came forth to Issachar, for the children of Issachar according to their families.

¹⁸Muganhu wavo wakasvika paJezireeri, neKesuroti, neShunemi,

¹⁸And their territory was toward Jizreel, and Chesulloth, and Shunem,

¹⁹neHafaraimi, neShioni, neAnaharoti,

¹⁹and Hapharaim, and Shion, and Anaharath,

²⁰neRabhiti, neKishioni, neEbhesi,

²⁰and Rabbith, and Kishion, and Ebez,

²¹neRemeti, neEniganimi, neEni-hadha, neBheti-pazezi;

²¹and Remeth, and En-gannim, and En-haddah, and Beth-pazzez;

²²muganhu ukasvika paTabhori, neShahazuma, neBheti-shemeshi; muganhu ndokugumira paJoridhani; maguta ane gumi namatanhatu nemisha yawo.

²²and the border reached to Tabor, and Shahazimah, and Beth-shemesh; and their border ended at the Jordan: sixteen cities and their hamlets.

²³Ndiyo yakanga iri nhaka yorudzi rwavana vaIsakari nemhuri dzavo, maguta nemisha yawo.

²³This was the inheritance of the tribe of the children of Issachar according to their families, the cities and their hamlets.

²⁴Mugove wechishanu wakapiwa rudzi rwavana vaAsheri nemhuri dzavo.

²⁴And the fifth lot came forth for the tribe of the children of Asher according to their families.

²⁵Muganhu wavo wakange uri: Harakati, neHari, neBheteni, neAkishafi,

²⁵And their territory was Helkath, and Hali, and Beten, and Acshaph,

²⁶neMamereki, neAmadhi, neMishari, ndokusvikira paKarimeri kumavirazuva, nokuShihori-ribhinati;

²⁶and Allammelech, and Amead, and Mishal; and [the border] reached to Carmel westwards, and to Shihor-libnath,

²⁷ndokudzokera kumabvazuva kuBheti-dhagoni ndokusvikira kwaZebhuruni, nokumupata weIfitaeri kumusoro, kusvikira paBheti-emeki, neNeyeri, nokubudira paKabhuri kuruboshwe,

²⁷and turned towards the sun-rising to Beth-Dagon, and reached to Zebulun, and to the valley of Jiphthah-el northward [to] Beth-emek and Neiel, and went out to Cabul on the left,

²⁸neEbhuroni, neRehobhi, neHamoni, neKana, kusvikira paZidhoni guru;

²⁸and Ebron, and Rehob, and Hammon, and Kanah, as far as great Zidon;

²⁹zvino muganhu ndokudzokera kuRama, nokuguta reTire rakakombwa norusvingo; muganhu ndokudzokera Hosa, ndokuguma pagungwa panyika yeAkizibhi;

²⁹and the border turned to Ramah, and as far as the fortified city of Tyre; and the border turned to Hosah; and ended at the sea by the tract of country of Achzib;

³⁰uye Uma, neAfeki, neRehobhi; maguta makumi maviri namaviri nemisha yawo.

³⁰and Ummah, and Aphek, and Rehob: twenty-two cities and their hamlets.

³¹Ndiyo yakanga iri nhaka yorudzi rwavana vaAsheri, nemhuri dzavo maguta iwaya nemisha yawo.

³¹This was the inheritance of the tribe of the children of Asher according to their families, these cities and their hamlets.

³²Mugove wechitanhatu wakapiwa vana vaNafutari, ivo vana vaNafutari nemhuri dzavo.

³²The sixth lot came forth to the children of Naphtali, for the children of Naphtali according to their families.

³³Muganhu wavo wakabva paHerefi, kubva pamuouki weZaananimi, neAdhami-nekebhi, neJabhuneeri, kusvikira paRakumi, ndokuguma paJoridhani;

³³And their border was from Heleph, from the oak of Zaanannim; and Adami-nekeb and Jabneel to Lakkum; and ended at the Jordan;

³⁴ipapo muganhu wakadzoka kumabvazuva, ndokuenda Azinoti-tabhori; ndokubvapo, ndokuenda Hukoki; ndokusvika kwaZebhuruni kurutivi rwezasi, ndokusvika kwaAsheri kumavirazuva, ndokusvika kwaJudha paJoridhani kumabvazuva.

³⁴and the border turned westwards to Aznoth-Tabor, and went out from thence to Hukkok, and reached to Zebulun on the south, and reached to Asher on the west, and to Judah upon Jordan towards the sun-rising.

³⁵Maguta akanga akakombwa namasvingo akanga ari Zidhimu, neZera, neHamati, neRakati, neKinereti,

³⁵And the fortified cities were Ziddim, Zer, and Hammath, Rakkath, and Chinnereth,

³⁶neAdhama, neRama, neHazori,

³⁶and Adamah, and Ramah, and Hazor,

³⁷neKedheshi, neEdhirei, neEni-harori,

³⁷and Kedesh, and Edrei, and En-Hazor,

³⁸neIroni, neMigadhari-eri, neHoremu, neBheti-anati, neBheti-shemeshi; maguta ane gumi namapfumbamwe, nemisha yawo.

³⁸and Jiron, and Migdal-el, Horem, and Beth-anath, and Beth-shemesh: nineteen cities and their hamlets.

³⁹Ndiyo yakanga iri nhaka yorudzi rwavana vaNafutari nemhuri dzavo, maguta iwaya nemisha yawo.

³⁹This was the inheritance of the tribe of the children of Naphtali according to their families, the cities and their hamlets.

⁴⁰Mugove wechinomwe wakapiwa rudzi rwavana vaDhani nemhuri dzavo.

⁴⁰The seventh lot came forth for the tribe of the children of Dan according to their families.

⁴¹Muganhu wenhaka yavo wakange uri Zora, neEshitaori, neIri-shemeshi;

⁴¹And the territory of their inheritance was Zoreah, and Eshtaol, and Ir-shemesh,

⁴²neShaarabhini, neAjaroni, neItira,

⁴²and Shaalabbin, and Ajalon, and Jithlah,

⁴³neEroni, neTimuna, neEkironi,

⁴³and Elon, and Timnathah, and Ekron,

⁴⁴neEriteke, neGibhetoni, neBhaarati,

⁴⁴and El-tekeh, and Gibbethon, and Baalath,

⁴⁵neJehudhi, neBheni-bheraki, neGati-rimoni,

⁴⁵and Jehud, and Beneberak, and Gath-Rimmon,

⁴⁶neMejarikoni, neRakoni, nenyika yakatarisana neJopa.

⁴⁶and Me-jarkon, and Rakkon, with the border over against Japho.

⁴⁷Asi nyika yavana vaDhani yakanga iri dukusa; naizvozvo vana vaDhani vakandorwa neReshemi, vakarikunda, vakariparadza neminondo inopinza, vakapiwa guta iro, vakagaramo; vakatumidza Reshemi zita rinonzi Dhani, zita rababa vavo Dhani.

⁴⁷And the border of the children of Dan ended with these; and the children of Dan went up and fought against Leshem, and took it, and smote it with the edge of the sword, and took possession of it, and dwelt in it, and called Leshem, Dan, after the name of Dan their father.

⁴⁸Ndiyo yakanga iri

⁴⁸This was the inheritance of the tribe of the children of Dan according to their families, these cities and their hamlets.

⁴⁹Naizvozvo vakapedza kugovera nyika, yakanga iri nhaka yavo nemiganhu yayo; vana vaIsiraeri vakapa Joshua mwanakomana waNuni nhaka yake pakati pavo;

⁴⁹And they ended dividing the land for inheritance according to its borders. And the children of Israel gave an inheritance to Joshua the son of Nun among them.

⁵⁰sezvavakanga varairwa naJehovha, vakamupa guta raakakumbira, Timunati-sera, panyika yamakomo yaEfuremu; akavaka guta iro, akagaramo.

⁵⁰According to the word of Jehovah they gave him the city that he asked, Timnath-serah in the hill-country of Ephraim; and he built the city, and dwelt in it.

⁵¹Ndidzo nhaka dzakagoverwa nemijenya paShiro pamberi paJehovha, pamukova wetende rokusangana, nomupristi Ereazari, naJoshua mwanakomana waNuni, navakuru vedzimba dzamadzibaba amarudzi avana valsiraeri, kuti dzive nhaka dzavo. Naizvozvo vakapedza kugovera nyika.

⁵¹These were the inheritances, which Eleazar the priest, and Joshua the son of Nun, and the chief fathers of the tribes of the children of Israel, distributed by lot in Shiloh before Jehovah, at the entrance of the tent of meeting. And they ended dividing the land.
