¹Haddaba sannaddii siddeed iyo tobnaad ee Boqor Yaaraabcaam ina Nebaad ayaa Abiiyaam boqor ka noqday dalka Yahuudah.

¹And in the eighteenth year of king Jeroboam son of Nebat, reigned hath Abijam over Judah;

²Oo saddex sannadood ayuu boqor ku ahaa Yeruusaalem, oo hooyadiis magaceedana waxaa la odhan jiray Macakaah ina Abiishaaloom.

²three years he hath reigned in Jerusalem, and the name of his mother [is] Maachah daughter of Abishalom;

³Oo isna wuxuu sameeyey dembiyadii uu aabbihiis samayn jiray isaga hortiis oo dhan, oo qalbigiisuna Rabbiga Ilaahiisa ah uguma qummanayn sidii qalbigii awowgiis Daa'uud oo kale.

³and he walketh in all the sins of his father, that he did before him, and his heart hath not been perfect with Jehovah his God, as the heart of David his father;

⁴Habase yeeshee Daa'uud daraaddiis ayaa Rabbiga Ilaahiis ahu Yeruusaalem ka dhex siiyey laambad inuu isaga dabadiis wiilkiisa dhiso iyo inuu Yeruusaalem adkeeyo aawadeed,

⁴but for David`s sake hath Jehovah his God given to him a lamp in Jerusalem, to raise up his son after him, and to establish Jerusalem,

⁵maxaa yeelay, Daa'uud wuxuu sameeyey wixii Rabbiga hortiisa ku qummanaa, oo cimrigiisii oo dhanna kama uu leexan wax kasta oo uu ku amray, xaalkii Uuriyaah kii reer Xeed oo keliya mooyaane.

⁵in that David did that which [is] right in the eyes of Jehovah, and turned not aside from all that He commanded him all days of his life — only in the matter of Uriah the Hittite;

⁶Oo Rexabcaam iyo Yaaraabcaamna dagaal baa ka dhexeeyey cimrigiisii oo dhanba.

⁶and war hath been between Rehoboam and Jeroboam all the days of his life.

⁷Oo Abiiyaam falimihiisii kale iyo wixii uu sameeyey oo dhammuba sow kuma qorna kitaabkii taariikhda boqorradii dalka Yahuudah? Oo Abiiyaam iyo Yaaraabcaamna dagaal baa ka dhexeeyey.

⁷And the rest of the matters of Abijam, and all that he did, are they not written on the book of the Chronicles of the kings of Judah? And war hath been between Abijam and Jeroboam;

⁸Oo Abiiyaam wuu dhintay oo la seexday awowayaashiis, oo waxaa lagu aasay magaaladii Daa'uud; oo meeshiisiina waxaa boqor ka noqday wiilkiisii Aasaa.

⁸and Abijam lieth with his fathers, and they bury him in the city of David, and reign doth Asa his son in his stead.

⁹Oo boqorkii dalka Israa'iil oo Yaaraabcaam ahaa sannaddiisii labaatanaad ayaa Aasaa boqor ka noqday dalka Yahuudah.

⁹And in the twentieth year of Jeroboam king of Israel reigned hath Asa over Judah,

¹⁰Oo wuxuu Yeruusaalem boqor ka ahaa kow iyo afartan sannadood; oo hooyadiisna magaceedu wuxuu ahaa Macakaah ina Abiishaaloom.

¹⁰and forty and one years he hath reigned in Jerusalem, and the name of his mother [is] Maachah daughter of Abishalom.

¹¹Oo Aasaa wuxuu sameeyey wixii Rabbiga hortiisa ku qummanaa sidii uu awowgiis Daa'uud yeelay oo kale.

¹¹And Asa doth that which [is] right in the eyes of Jehovah, like David his father,

¹²Oo makhnuudyadiina dalka wuu ka eryay, sanamyadii aabbihiis sameeyey oo dhanna wuu wada fogeeyey.

¹²and removeth the whoremongers out of the land, and turneth aside all the idols that his fathers made;

¹³Macakaah oo hooyadiis ahaydna boqoradnimadii wuu ka dejiyey, maxaa yeelay, waxay sanam karaahiya ah u samaysay geed Asheeraah, oo Aasaa sanamkeedii wuu jebiyey, wuxuuna ku gubay durdurka Qidroon agtiisa.

¹³and also Maachah his mother — he turneth her aside from being mistress, in that she made a horrible thing for a shrine, and Asa cutteth down her horrible thing, and burneth [it] by the brook Kidron;

¹⁴Laakiinse meelihii sarsare lama baabbi'in; habase yeeshee Aasaa qalbigiisu waa ku qummanaa Rabbiga hortiisa cimrigiisii oo dhanba.

¹⁴and the high places have not turned aside; only, the heart of Asa hath been perfect with Jehovah all his days,

¹⁵Oo gurigii Rabbigana wuxuu soo geliyey alaabtii aabbihiis quduuska ka dhigay iyo alaabtii uu isaga qudhiisu quduuska ka dhigay, waxayna ahayd lacag iyo dahab iyo weelal.

¹⁵and he bringeth in the sanctified things of his father, and his own sanctified things, to the house of Jehovah, silver, and gold, and vessels.

¹⁶Oo cimrigoodii oo dhanna dagaal baa ka dhexeeyey Aasaa iyo Bacshaa oo ahaa boqorkii dalka Israa'iil.

¹⁶And war hath been between Asa and Baasha king of Israel all their days,

¹⁷Oo Bacshaa oo ahaa boqorkii dalka Israa'iil ayaa dalka Yahuudah ku kacay, oo wuxuu dhisay Raamaah, inuusan qofna u oggolaan inuu ka baxo ama u galo Aasaa oo ahaa boqorkii dalka Yahuudah.

¹⁷and Baasha king of Israel goeth up against Judah, and buildeth Ramah, not to permit any one going out and coming in to Asa king of Judah.

¹⁸Markaasaa Aasaa qaaday kulli lacagtii iyo dahabkii ku hadhay khasnadihii guriga Rabbiga iyo khasnadihii guriga boqorka oo dhan, oo wuxuu u dhiibay addoommadiisa, oo Boqor Aasaa wuxuu iyagii u diray Benhadad ina Tabrimmoon oo ahaa ina Xesyoon, oo dalka Suuriya boqorka u ahaa oo Dimishaq degganaa, oo wuxuu ku yidhi,

¹⁸And Asa taketh all the silver and the gold that are left in the treasures of the house of Jehovah, and the treasures of the house of the king, and giveth them into the hand of his servants, and king Asa sendeth them unto Ben-Hadad, son of Tabrimmon, son of Hezion king of Aram, who is dwelling in Damascus, saying,

¹⁹Aniga iyo adiga axdi baa inoo dhexeeya, oo aabbahay iyo aabbahaana wuu u dhexayn jiray; haddaba bal eeg, waxaan kuu soo diray hadiyad lacag iyo dahab ah, saas aawadeed tag oo jebi axdiga aad la leedahay boqorka dalka Israa'iil oo Bacshaa ah, ha iga tagee.

¹⁹`A covenant [is] between me and thee, between my father and thy father; lo, I have sent to thee a reward of silver and gold; go, break thy covenant with Baasha king of Israel, and he goeth up from off me.`

²⁰Markaasaa Benhadad dhegaystay hadalkii Boqor Aasaa, oo saraakiishii ciidammadiisa ayuu u diray magaalooyinkii dalka Israa'iil, oo waxay dagaal ku dhufteen Ciyoon, iyo Daan, iyo Aabeel Beytmacakaah, iyo Kinnered oo dhan, iyo dalkii reer Naftaali oo dhan.

²⁰And Ben-Hadad hearkeneth unto king Asa, and sendeth the heads of the forces that he hath against cities of Israel, and smiteth Ijon, and Dan, and Abel-Beth-Maachah, and all Chinneroth, besides all the land of Naphtali;

²¹Kolkii Bacshaa taas maqlay wuu ka tegey Raamaah dhisiddeedii, oo wuxuu degay Tirsaah.

²¹and it cometh to pass at Baasha`s hearing, that he ceaseth from building Ramah, and dwelleth in Tirzah.

²²Markaasaa Boqor Aasaa wuxuu dalka Yahuudah oo dhan gaadhsiiyey naado ogeysiis ah, oo ninna lagama reebin; oo waxay wada qaadeen dhagxantii iyo alwaaxdii Raamaah ee uu Bacshaa ku dhisayay, kolkaasaa Boqor Aasaa wuxuu ku dhisay Gebac oo ku taal dalka reer Benyaamiin iyo Misfaah.

²²And king Asa hath summoned all Judah — there is none exempt — and they lift up the stones of Ramah, and its wood, that Baasha hath built, and king Asa buildeth with them Geba of Benjamin, and Mizpah.

²³Haddaba Aasaa falimihiisa kale, iyo xooggiisii oo dhan, iyo wixii uu sameeyey oo dhan, iyo magaalooyinkii uu dhisay oo dhammuba sow kuma qorna kitaabka taariikhda boqorradii dalka Yahuudah? Laakiinse markuu gaboobay wuxuu ka bukooday cagaha.

²³And the rest of all the matters of Asa, and all his might, and all that he did, and the cities that he built, are they not written on the book of the Chronicles of the kings of Judah? Only, at the time of his old age he was diseased in his feet;

²⁴Markaasaa Aasaa dhintay oo la seexday awowayaashiis, oo waxaa awowayaashiis lagula aasay magaaladii awowgiis Daa'uud; oo meeshiisiina waxaa boqor ka noqday wiilkiisii Yehooshaafaad

²⁴and Asa lieth with his fathers, and is buried with his fathers in the city of David his father, and Jehoshaphat his son reigneth in his stead.

²⁵Oo Naadaab oo ahaa ina Yaaraabcaam boqor buu ka noqday dalka Israa'iil sannaddii labaad oo Aasaa boqorkii dalka Yahuudah; oo wuxuu dalka Israa'iil boqor ka ahaa laba sannadood.

²⁵And Nadab son of Jeroboam hath reigned over Israel, in the second year of Asa king of Judah, and he reigneth over Israel two years,

²⁶Oo isna wuxuu sameeyey wixii Rabbiga hortiisa shar ku ahaa, oo wuxuu ku socday jidkii aabbihiis, iyo dembigiisa uu dadkii Israa'iil dembaajiyey.

²⁶and doth the evil thing in the eyes of Jehovah, and goeth in the way of his father, and in his sin that he made Israel to sin.

²⁷Oo waxaa shirqoolay Bacshaa ina Axiiyaah oo ahaa reer Isaakaar, oo Bacshaa isaguu ku dilay Gibbetoon tan ay reer Falastiin lahaayeen, waayo, Naadaab iyo dadkii dalka Israa'iil oo dhammuba waxay weerarayeen Gibbetoon.

²⁷And conspire against him doth Baasha son of Ahijah, of the house of Issachar, and Baasha smiteth him in Gibbethon, which [is] to the Philistines — and Nadab and all Israel are laying siege against Gibbethon —

²⁸Oo isaga Bacshaa wuxuu dilay oo meeshiisii boqor ka noqday sannaddii saddexaad ee Aasaa oo ahaa boqorkii dalka Yahuudah.

²⁸yea, Baasha putteth him to death in the third year of Asa king of Judah, and reigneth in his stead.

²⁹Oo haddiiba markuu boqor noqday ayuu wada laayay reerkii Yaaraabcaam oo dhan, oo Yaaraabcaam uma uu dayn qof keliya oo neefsada, laakiinse wuu wada baabbi'iyey, sidii uu ahaa eraygii Rabbigu u soo dhiibay addoonkiisii Axiiyaah kii reer Shiiloh;

²⁹And it cometh to pass, at his reigning, he hath smitten the whole house of Jeroboam, he hath not left any breathing to Jeroboam till his destroying him, according to the word of Jehovah, that He spake by the hand of His servant Ahijah the Shilonite,

³⁰waayo, waxay saas u noqotay Yaaraabcaam dembiyadiisii uu dembaabay, oo uu dadkii Israa'iilna dembaajiyey, iyo xanaaqii uu ka xanaajiyey Rabbiga ah Ilaaha dalka Israa'iil.

³⁰because of the sins of Jeroboam that he sinned, and that he caused Israel to sin, by his provocation with which he provoked to anger Jehovah, God of Israel.

³¹Haddaba Naadaab falimihiisii kale, iyo wixii uu sameeyey oo dhammuba sow kuma qorna kitaabka taariikhda boqorrada dalka Israa'iil?

³¹And the rest of the matters of Nadab, and all that he did, are they not written on the book of the Chronicles of the kings of Israel?

³²Cimrigood oo dhan dagaal baa ka dhexeeyey Aasaa iyo Bacshaa oo boqor ka ahaa dalka Israa'iil.

³²And war hath been between Asa and Baasha king of Israel all their days.

³³Oo boqorkii dalka Yahuudah oo Aasaa ahaa sannaddiisii saddexaad ayaa Bacshaa ina Axiiyaah boqor dalka Israa'iil ugu noqday Tirsaah, oo wuxuu boqor ahaa afar iyo labaatan sannadood.Oo isna wuxuu sameeyey wax Rabbiga hortiisa shar ku ah, oo wuxuu ku socday jidkii aabbihiis Yaaraabcaam, iyo dembigiisii uu dadkii Israa'iilna dembaajiyey.

³³In the third year of Asa king of Judah reigned hath Baasha son of Ahijah over all Israel in Tirzah, twenty and four years,

³⁴Oo isna wuxuu sameeyey wax Rabbiga hortiisa shar ku ah, oo wuxuu ku socday jidkii aabbihiis Yaaraabcaam, iyo dembigiisii uu dadkii Israa'iilna dembaajiyey.

³⁴and he doth the evil thing in the eyes of Jehovah, and walketh in the way of Jeroboam, and in his sin that he caused Israel to sin.
