¹Oo waxyaalahaas iyo aaminnimadaas dabadood waxaa yimid oo dalka Yahuudah soo galay Seenxeeriib oo ahaa boqorkii Ashuur; magaalooyinkii deyrka lahaana ayuu weeraray, wuuna ku talo jiray inuu iyaga qaato.

¹After these things and this truth, come hath Sennacherib king of Asshur, yea, he cometh in to Judah, and encampeth against the cities of the bulwarks, and saith to rend them unto himself.

²Xisqiyaahna markuu arkay in Seenxeeriib yimid oo uu ku talo jiro inuu Yeruusaalem la diriro,

²And Hezekiah seeth that Sennacherib hath come, and his face [is] to the battle against Jerusalem,

³ayuu amiirradiisii iyo raggiisii xoogga badnaa kula tashaday in la wada awdo ilaha biyaha ah oo magaalada dibaddeeda ku yaal, oo iyana way caawiyeen.

³and he taketh counsel with his heads and his mighty ones, to stop the waters of the fountains that [are] at the outside of the city -- and they help him,

⁴Sidaas aawadeed waxaa isu soo ururay dad badan, wayna wada awdeen ilihii biyaha ahaa oo dhan iyo durdurkii waddanka dhex mari jiray, oo waxay isyidhaahdeen, Bal boqorrada dalka Ashuur intay yimaadaan maxay biyo badan u helayaan?

⁴and much people are gathered, and they stop all the fountains and the brook that is rushing into the midst of the land, saying, `Why do the kings of Asshur come, and have found much water?'

⁵Markaasuu isdhiirrigeliyey, oo dhisay derbigii dunsanaa oo dhan, oo kor u gaadhsiiyey tan iyo munaaradihii, wuxuuna dhisay derbi kaloo dibadda ah, oo xoogeeyey Millo oo ku dhex tiil magaaladii Daa'uud, oo sameeyey hub dagaal iyo gaashaammo faro badan.

⁵And he strengtheneth himself, and buildeth the whole of the wall that is broken, and causeth [it] to ascend unto the towers, and at the outside of the wall another, and strengtheneth Millo, [in] the city of David, and maketh darts in abundance, and shields.

⁶And he putteth heads of war over the people, and gathereth them unto him, unto the broad place of a gate of the city, and speaketh unto their heart, saying,

⁷Xoog yeesha oo aad u dhiirranaada, ha ka cabsanina, hana ka qalbi jabina boqorka Ashuur ama ciidanka faraha badan oo isaga la socda, maxaa yeelay, waxaa inala jira kuwa ka badan kuwa isaga la jira.

⁷`Be strong and courageous, be not afraid, nor be cast down from the face of the king of Asshur, and from the face of all the multitude that [is] with him, for with us [are] more than with him.

⁸With him [is] an arm of flesh, and with us [is] Jehovah our God, to help us, and to fight our battles;' and the people are supported by the words of Hezekiah king of Judah.

⁹After this hath Sennacherib king of Asshur sent his servants to Jerusalem -- and he [is] by Lachish, and all his power with him -- against Hezekiah king of Judah, and against all Judah, who [are] in Jerusalem, saying,

¹⁰Anoo ah Seenxeeriib oo ah boqorkii Ashuur waxaan idinku leeyahay, Qalcadda Yeruusaalem waa idinka ku sii jiree bal yaad isku hallaynaysaan?

¹⁰`Thus said Sennacherib king of Asshur, On what are ye trusting and abiding in the bulwark, in Jerusalem?

¹¹War sow Xisqiyaah idinma sasabin si aad gaajo iyo harraad ugu dhimataan, isagoo leh, Rabbiga Ilaaheenna ah ayaa inaga samatabbixin doona gacanta boqorka Ashuur?

¹¹`Is not Hezekiah persuading you, to give you up to die by famine, and by thirst, saying, Jehovah our God doth deliver us from the hand of the king of Asshur?

¹²War Xisqiyaahaasu sow ma ahaa kii wada baabbi'iyey meelihiisii sarsare iyo meelihiisii allabarigaba, oo dadkii Yahuudah iyo Yeruusaalemna sow kuma uu amrin oo kuma odhan, Idinku waa inaad meel allabari oo keliya horteeda Ilaah ku caabuddaan, oo isla taas korkeedana waa inaad fooxa ku shiddaan?

¹²Hath not Hezekiah himself turned aside His high places, and His altars, and speaketh to Judah and to Jerusalem, saying, Before one altar ye bow yourselves, and on it ye make perfume?

¹³War miyeydaan ka war qabin aniga iyo awowayaashayba wixii aan ku samaynay dadyowga dalalka deggan oo dhan? War quruumaha dalalka deggan ilaahyadoodu miyey sinaba u awoodeen inay dalkooda gacantayda ka samatabbixiyaan?

¹³`Do ye not know what I have done -- I and my fathers -- to all peoples of the lands? Were the gods of the nations of the lands at all able to deliver their land out of my hand?

¹⁴Oo quruumihii awowayaashay ay wada baabbi'iyeen ilaahyadoodii oo dhan kee baa awooday inuu dadkiisii gacantayda ka samatabbixiyo? Haddaba Ilaahiinnu sidee buu u awoodaa inuu gacantayda idinka samatabbixiyo?

¹⁴Who among all the gods of these nations whom my fathers have devoted to destruction [is] he who hath been able to deliver his people out of my hand, that your God is able to deliver you out of my hand?

¹⁵Haddaba sidaas daraaddeed Xisqiyaah yuusan idin khiyaanayn oo yuusan sidan idiin sasabin, hana rumaysanina, waayo, innaba ma jirin quruun ama boqortooyo ilaaheedu awooday inuu dadkiisa ka samatabbixiyo gacantayda iyo gacantii awowayaashay toona, haddaba ilaahiinna sidee buu gacantayda idiinka samatabbixin doonaa?

¹⁵`And, now, let not Hezekiah lift you up, nor persuade you thus, nor give credence to him, for no god of any nation and kingdom is able to deliver his people from my hand, and from the hand of my fathers: also, surely your God doth not deliver you from my hand!'

¹⁶Oo addoommadiisiina waxay ku sii hadleen war badan oo ka gees ah Rabbiga Ilaaha ah iyo addoonkiisa Xisqiyaah ahba.

¹⁶And again have his servants spoken against Jehovah God, and against Hezekiah His servant,

¹⁷Oo weliba wuxuu kaloo qoray warqado uu ku caayayo oo wax kaga sheegayo Rabbiga ah Ilaaha reer binu Israa'iil, oo wuxuu yidhi, Dalalka quruumaha deggan ilaahyadoodii oo dadkoodii gacantayda ka samatabbixin waayay sidoodii oo kalaa Ilaaha Xisqiyaahna dadkiisa gacantayda uga samatabbixin waayi doonaa.

¹⁷and letters he hath written to give reproach to Jehovah, God of Israel, and to speak against Him, saying, `As the gods of the nations of the lands that have not delivered their people from my hand, so the God of Hezekiah doth not deliver His people from my hand.'

¹⁸Oo iyagoo afkii Yuhuudda ku hadlaya ayay cod weyn ugu dhawaaqeen dadkii reer Yeruusaalem oo derbiga kor joogay inay iyaga cabsiiyaan oo ay wareeriyaan si ay iyagu magaalada u qabsadaan.

¹⁸And they call with a great voice [in] Jewish, against the people of Jerusalem who [are] on the wall, to frighten them, and to trouble them, that they may capture the city,

¹⁹Oo waxay Ilaahii Yeruusaalem uga hadleen siday uga hadleen ilaahyadii dadadka dunida, kuwaasoo ah wax dad gacanta ku sameeyey.

¹⁹and they speak against the God of Jerusalem as against the gods of the peoples of the land -- work of the hands of man.

²⁰Markaasaa Boqor Xisqiyaah iyo Nebi Ishacyaah oo ahaa ina Aamoos u tukadeen xaalkan aawadiis, oo waxay qaylo gaadhsiyeen samada.

²⁰And Hezekiah the king prayeth, and Isaiah son of Amoz the prophet, concerning this, and they cry to the heavens,

²¹Markaasaa Rabbigu malag soo diray, kaasoo xeradii boqorkii Ashuur ku wada laayay raggii xoogga badnaa, iyo hoggaamiyayaashii, iyo saraakiishii oo dhanba. Sidaas daraaddeed isagoo ceebaysan ayuu dalkiisii ku noqday. Oo markuu gurigii ilaahiisa galay waxaa halkaas seef kaga dilay wiilashii uu dhalay.

²¹and Jehovah sendeth a messenger, and cutteth off every mighty one of valour -- both leader and head -- in the camp of the king of Asshur, and he turneth back with shame of face to his land, and entereth the house of his god, and those coming out of his bowels have caused him to fall there by the sword.

²²Sidaasuu Rabbigu Xisqiyaah iyo dadkii Yeruusaalem degganaaba uga badbaadiyey Seenxeeriib oo ahaa boqorkii Ashuur gacantiisii iyo gacantii kuwii kale oo dhanba, oo iyagiina dhinac kasta wuu ka ilaaliyey.

²²And Jehovah saveth Hezekiah and the inhabitants of Jerusalem from the hand of Sennacherib king of Asshur, and from the hand of all, and He leadeth them round about;

²³Oo dad badan ayaa Rabbiga Yeruusaalem ugu keeneen hadiyado, oo Xisqiyaah oo ahaa boqorkii dalka Yahuudahna waxay u keeneen waxyaalo qaali ah, sidaas aawadeed markaas intii ka dambaysay ayaa isaga loogu sarraysiiyey quruumaha oo dhan hortooda.

²³and many are bringing in an offering to Jehovah, to Jerusalem, and precious things to Hezekiah king of Judah, and he is lifted up before the eyes of all the nations after this.

²⁴Oo waagaas ayaa Xisqiyaah bukooday, oo geeri buu u dhowaaday, markaasuu Rabbiga baryay, oo isna intuu la hadlay ayuu calaamad u sameeyey.

²⁴In those days hath Hezekiah been sick even unto death, and he prayeth unto Jehovah, and He speaketh to him, and a wonder hath appointed for him;

²⁵Laakiinse Xisqiyaah wanaaggii isaga loo sameeyey mahad kama celin, waayo, qalbigiisa ayaa kibray, sidaas daraaddeed isagii iyo dalka Yahuudah iyo Yeruusaalemba cadho baa ku soo degtay.

²⁵and Hezekiah hath not returned according to the deed [done] unto him, for his heart hath been lofty, and there is wrath upon him, and upon Judah and Jerusalem;

²⁶Habase ahaatee Xisqiyaah wuu is-hoosaysiiyey oo kibirkii qalbigiisa wuu ka soo noqday isaga iyo dadkii Yeruusaalem degganaa oo dhammuba, sidaa daraaddeed cadhadii Rabbigu iyaga kuma ay soo degin wakhtigii Xisqiyaah.

²⁶and Hezekiah is humbled for the loftiness of his heart, he and the inhabitants of Jerusalem, and the wrath of Jehovah hath not come upon them in the days of Hezekiah.

²⁷Haddaba Xisqiyaah wuxuu lahaa maal aad iyo aad u faro badan iyo sharaf, oo wuxuu samaystay khasnado lagu xereeyo lacag, iyo dahab, iyo dhagaxyo qaali ah, iyo uunsi, iyo gaashaammo, iyo cayn kasta oo weelal wanaagsan ah.

²⁷And Hezekiah hath riches and honour very much, and treasures he hath made to himself of silver, and of gold, and of precious stone, and of spices, and of shields, and of all [kinds] of desirable vessels,

²⁸Oo guryo wax lagu kaydiyona buu u samaystay wixii badnaa ee ahaa hadhuudh iyo khamri iyo saliid, wuxuuna samaystay xeryo lagu xereeyo xayawaan cayn kasta ah, iyo xeryo adhiyood.

²⁸and storehouses for the increase of corn, and new wine, and oil, and stalls for all kinds of cattle, and herds for stalls;

²⁹Oo weliba wuxuu dhistay magaalooyin, oo wuxuu urursaday ido iyo lo' faro badan, waayo, Rabbigu wuxuu isaga siiyey maal aad u badan.

²⁹and cities he hath made for himself, and possessions of flocks and herds in abundance, for God hath given to him very much substance.

³⁰Oo Xisqiyaahaas qudhiisa ayaa awday biyihii Giixoon ishoodii sare, oo wuxuu hoos ugu soo toosiyey magaaladii Daa'uud dhankeedii galbeed. Oo Xisqiyaahna wuu ku liibaanay shuqulladiisii uu sameeyey oo dhan.

³⁰And Hezekiah himself hath stopped the upper source of the waters of Gihon, and directeth them beneath to the west of the city of David, and Hezekiah prospereth in all his work;

³¹Habase ahaatee markay amiirradii dalka Baabuloon isaga cid ugu soo direen inay soo haybiyaan waxa uu yahay yaabka dalkiisa lagu dhex sameeyo ayaa Ilaah isagii uga tegey inuu tijaabiyo oo ogaado waxa qalbigiisa ku jira oo dhan.

³¹and so with the ambassadors of the heads of Babylon, those sending unto him to inquire of the wonder that hath been in the land, God hath left him to try him, to know all in his heart,

³²Haddaba Xisqiyaah falimihiisii kale iyo camalladiisii wanaagsanaa oo dhammu waxay ku qoran yihiin waxyaalihii la tusay Nebi Ishacyaah oo ahaa ina Aamoos, kuwaasoo ku yaal kitaabkii boqorrada dalka Yahuudah iyo dalka Israa'iil.Oo Xisqiyaah wuu dhintay oo la seexday awowayaashiis, oo waxaa isagii lagu aasay meesha laga fuulo qabuurihii farcanka Daa'uud; oo dadkii Yahuudah iyo dadkii Yeruusaalem degganaa oo dhammuba isagii bay sharfeen markuu geeriyooday. Oo meeshiisiina waxaa boqor ka noqday wiilkiisii Manaseh.

³²And the rest of the matters of Hezekiah, and his kind acts, lo, they are written in the vision of Isaiah son of Amoz the prophet, on the book of the kings of Judah and Israel.

³³Oo Xisqiyaah wuu dhintay oo la seexday awowayaashiis, oo waxaa isagii lagu aasay meesha laga fuulo qabuurihii farcanka Daa'uud; oo dadkii Yahuudah iyo dadkii Yeruusaalem degganaa oo dhammuba isagii bay sharfeen markuu geeriyooday. Oo meeshiisiina waxaa boqor ka noqday wiilkiisii Manaseh.

³³And Hezekiah lieth with his fathers, and they bury him in the uppermost of the graves of the sons of David, and all Judah and the inhabitants of Jerusalem have done honour to him at his death, and reign doth Manasseh his son in his stead.
