1Oo Daa'uud markuu in yar dhaafay jiirta dusheedii waxaa u yimid Siibaa oo ahaa midiidinkii Mefiiboshed, isagoo wada laba dameer oo kooraysan, oo dushoodana waxaa u saarnaa laba boqol oo xabbadood oo kibis ah, iyo boqol rucubood oo sabiib ah, iyo boqol rucubood oo midho xagaa ah, iyo sibraar khamri ah.
1And David hath passed on a little from the top, and lo, Ziba, servant of Mephibosheth — to meet him, and a couple of asses saddled, and upon them two hundred loaves, and a hundred bunches of raisins, and a hundred [of] summer-fruit, and a bottle of wine.
2Markaasaa boqorkii wuxuu Siibaa ku yidhi, War waxyaalahan maxaad ula jeeddaa? Oo Siibaana wuxuu yidhi, Dameeraha waxaan u keenay in boqorka reerkiisu fuulaan; kibista iyo midhahana waxaan u keenay in ragga dhallinyarada ahu cunaan; khamrigana waxaan u keenay in ku alla kii cidlada ku itaal darnaadaa uu cabbo.
2And the king saith unto Ziba, `What — these to thee?` and Ziba saith, `The asses for the household of the king to ride on, and the bread and the summer-fruit for the young men to eat, and the wine for the wearied to drink in the wilderness.`
3Markaasaa boqorkii ku yidhi, Meeh wiilkii sayidkaagu? Siibaana boqorkii buu ku yidhi, Yeruusaalem buu ku hadhay, oo wuxuu yidhi, Reer binu Israa'iil maantay ii soo celin doonaan boqortooyadii aabbahay.
3And the king saith, `And where [is] the son of thy lord?` and Ziba saith unto the king, `Lo, he is abiding in Jerusalem, for he said, To-day do the house of Israel give back to me the kingdom of my father.`
4Markaasaa boqorkii wuxuu Siibaa ku yidhi, Bal eeg, Mefiiboshed wixiisa oo dhan adigaa iska leh. Oo Siibaana wuxuu yidhi, Boqorow, sayidkaygiiyow, waan ku sujuudayaa hortaada; aan raallinimo kaa helo.
4And the king saith to Ziba, `Lo, thine [are] all that Mephibosheth hath;` and Ziba saith, `I have bowed myself — I find grace in thine eyes, my lord, O king.`
5Oo Boqor Daa'uudna markuu Baxuuriim yimid, waxaa ku soo baxay nin ay Saa'uul isku cid ahaayeen, oo magiciisa la odhan jiray Shimcii ina Geeraa. Wuu soo baxay, isagoo habaartamaya intuu soo socday.
5And king David hath come in unto Bahurim, and lo, thence a man is coming out, of the family of the house of Saul, and his name [is] Shimei, son of Gera, he cometh out, coming out and reviling;
6Oo dhagxan buuna ku tuuray Daa'uud iyo addoommadii Boqor Daa'uud oo dhanba, oo dadkii oo dhan iyo raggii xoogga lahaa oo dhammuna waxay joogeen midigtiisa iyo bidixdiisaba.
6and he stoneth David with stones, and all the servants of king David, and all the people, and all the mighty men on his right and on his left.
7Oo Shimcii markuu habaartamayay wuxuu lahaa, Naga tag, nin yahow dhiigga qabaa, oo naga tag, nin yahow waxmataraha ihi!
7And thus said Shimei in his reviling, `Go out, go out, O man of blood, and man of worthlessness!
8Rabbigu waa ku kor saaray reer Saa'uul dhiiggoodii oo dhan, Saa'uulkaasoo aad meeshiisii xukumayso; oo Rabbigu boqortooyadii gacantuu u geliyey wiilkaaga Absaaloom; oo bal eeg, adiga belaayadaadii baa kula tagtaye, maxaa yeelay, waxaad tahay nin dhiig qaba.
8Jehovah hath turned back on thee all the blood of the house of Saul, in whose stead thou hast reigned, and Jehovah doth give the kingdom in to the hand of Absalom thy son; and lo, thou [art] in thine evil, for a man of blood thou [art].`
9Markaasaa Abiishay oo ay Seruuyaah dhashay wuxuu boqorkii ku yidhi, War eeygan dhintay muxuu kuu habaarayaa, boqorow, sayidkaygiiyow? Waan ku baryayaaye, i daa intaan u tago aan madaxa ka gooyee.
9And Abishai son of Zeruiah saith unto the king, `Why doth this dead dog revile my lord the king? let me pass over, I pray thee, and I turn aside his head.`
10Kolkaasaa boqorkii wuxuu yidhi, Kuwiinna ay Seruuyaah dhashayow, bal maxaa inoo dhexeeya? Hadduu habaartamay, oo Rabbigu ku yidhi, Daa'uud soo habaar, bal yaa ninkan ku odhan kara, War maxaad saas u yeeshay?
10And the king saith, `What — to me and to you, O sons of Zeruiah? for — let him revile; even because Jehovah hath said to him, Revile David; and who saith, Wherefore hast Thou done so?`
11Daa'uudna wuxuu ku yidhi Abiishay, iyo addoommadiisii oo dhanba, Bal eega, wiilkaygii iga soo baxay ayaa doonaya inuu nafta iga qaado; haddaba intee in ka badan ayaa ninkan reer Benyaamiin igu samaynayaa? Haddaba ninkan iska daaya, ha iska habaartamee; waayo, Rabbigaa saas ku amray.
11And David saith unto Abishai, and unto all his servants, `Lo, my son who came out of my bowels is seeking my life, and also surely now the Benjamite; leave him alone, and let him revile, for Jehovah hath said [so] to him;
12Mindhaa Rabbigu intuu dhibaatadayda eego ayuu wanaag iigu beddeli doonaa habaarkuu maanta igu habaaray.
12it may be Jehovah doth look on mine affliction, and Jehovah hath turned back to me good for his reviling this day.`
13Sidaas daraaddeed Daa'uud iyo raggiisiiba jidkii bay mareen, Shimciina wuxuu maray buurtii agtiisa ahayd dhinaceeda, oo intuu sii socdayna Daa'uud buu habaarayay, oo dhagxan ku tuurayay, ciidna wuu ku soo saydhayay.
13And David goeth with his men in the way, and Shimei is going at the side of the hill over-against him, going on, and he revileth, and stoneth with stones over-against him, and hath dusted with dust.
14Oo boqorkii iyo dadkii isaga la jiray oo dhammu waxay yimaadeen iyagoo daalay; halkaasuuna ku nastay.
14And the king cometh in, and all the people who [are] with him, wearied, and they are refreshed there.
15Markaasaa Absaaloom iyo dadkii reer binu Israa'iil oo dhammu Yeruusaalem yimaadeen, iyagoo uu Axiitofel la socdo.
15And Absalom and all the people, the men of Israel, have come in to Jerusalem, and Ahithophel with him,
16Oo kolkii Xuushay kii reer Arkii oo Daa'uud saaxiibkiis ahaa uu Absaaloom u yimid ayaa Xuushay Absaaloom ku yidhi, Boqorku ha noolaado, boqorku ha noolaado.
16and it cometh to pass, when Hushai the Archite, David`s friend, hath come unto Absalom, that Hushai saith unto Absalom, `Let the king live! let the king live!`
17Markaasaa Absaaloom wuxuu Xuushay ku yidhi, Ma sidatanaad ugu roonaanaysaa saaxiibka? Maxaadse saaxiibkaa u raaci weyday?
17And Absalom saith unto Hushai, `This thy kindness with thy friend! why hast thou not gone with thy friend?`
18Xuushayna wuxuu Absaaloom ku yidhi, Saas ma aha; laakiinse kii Rabbiga, iyo dadkan, iyo reer binu Israa'iil oo dhammu doorteen ayaa i lahaanaya, oo isagaan la joogayaa.
18And Hushai saith unto Absalom, `Nay, for he whom Jehovah hath chosen, and this people, even all the men of Israel, his I am, and with him I abide;
19Oo haddana, bal yaan u adeegaa? Sow wiilkiisa ma aha? Sidaan aabbahaa ugu adeegi jiray oo kale ayaan haatanna adiga kuugu adeegayaa.
19and secondly, for whom do I labour? is it not before his son? as I served before thy father so am I before thee.`
20Markaasaa Absaaloom wuxuu Axiitofel ku yidhi, Bal ka tali waxaan samayn lahayn.
20And Absalom saith unto Ahithophel, `Give for you counsel what we do.`
21Oo Axiitofelna wuxuu Absaaloom ku yidhi, Waxaad u tagtaa naagaha addoommaha ah ee aabbahaa, ee uu uga tegey inay guriga dhawraan; oo reer binu Israa'iil oo dhammuna waxay maqli doonaan in aabbahaa ku karahsaday; dabadeedna inta kula jirta oo dhan gacmahoodu way xoogaysan doonaan.
21And Ahithophel saith unto Absalom, `Go in unto the concubines of thy father, whom he left to keep the house, and all Israel hath heard that thou hast been abhorred by thy father, and the hands of all who [are] with thee have been strong.`
22Sidaas daraaddeed Absaaloom teendhay uga dhiseen guriga dushiisa, oo Absaaloomna wuxuu u tegey naagihii addoommaha ahaa ee aabbihiis, iyadoo ay reer binu Israa'iil oo dhammu u jeedeen.Oo waayahaasna taladii Axiitofel ku talin jiray waxay ahayd sidii Ilaah hadalkiisa markii Ilaah wax la weyddiisto oo kale; oo Axiitofel taladiisuna saasay la ahayd Daa'uud iyo Absaaloomba.
22And they spread out for Absalom the tent on the roof, and Absalom goeth in unto the concubines of his father before the eyes of all Israel.
23Oo waayahaasna taladii Axiitofel ku talin jiray waxay ahayd sidii Ilaah hadalkiisa markii Ilaah wax la weyddiisto oo kale; oo Axiitofel taladiisuna saasay la ahayd Daa'uud iyo Absaaloomba.
23And the counsel of Ahithophel which he counselled in those days [is] as [when] one inquireth at the word of God; so [is] all the counsel of Ahithophel both to David and to Absalom.
