1Markaasaa Muuse iyo odayaashii reer binu Israa'iil waxay dadkii ku amreen oo ku yidhaahdeen, Amarka aan maanta idinku amrayo oo dhan wada xajiya.
1`And Moses — the elders of Israel also — commandeth the people, saying, Keep all the command which I am commanding you to-day;
2Oo maalintii aad Webi Urdun uga gudubtaan dalkii Rabbiga Ilaahiinna ahu uu idin siinayo waa inaad dhagaxyo waaweyn qotomisaan oo aad nuurad ku malaastaan,
2and it hath been, in the day that ye pass over the Jordan unto the land which Jehovah thy God is giving to thee, that thou hast raised up for thee great stones, and plaistered them with plaister,
3oo waxaad ku qortaan erayada sharcigan oo dhan markaad gudubtaan inaad gashaan dalkii Rabbiga Ilaahiinna ahu idin siinayo oo ah dal caano iyo malab la barwaaqaysan, sidii Rabbiga ah Ilaahii awowayaashiin uu idiin ballanqaaday.
3and written on them all the words of this law in thy passing over, so that thou goest in unto the land which Jehovah thy God is giving to thee — a land flowing with milk and honey, as Jehovah, God of thy fathers, hath spoken to thee.
4Oo markaad Webi Urdun ka gudubtaan, waa inaad Buur Ceebaal ku qotomisaan dhagaxyada aan maanta idinkaga amrayo, oo iyaga waa inaad nuurad ku malaastaan.
4`And it hath been, in your passing over the Jordan, ye raise up these stones which I am commanding you to-day, in mount Ebal, and thou hast plaistered them with plaister,
5Oo halkaas waa inaad Rabbiga Ilaahiinna ah meel allabari uga dhistaan, ha ahaato meel allabari oo dhagax ah, oo dhagaxyadeeda waa inaydaan alaab bir ah u qaadan.
5and built there an altar to Jehovah thy God, an altar of stones, thou dost not wave over them iron.
6Oo Rabbiga Ilaahiinna ah meeshiisa allabariga waa inaad ku dhistaan dhagaxyo aan la qorin, oo meeshaas dusheeda waxaad Rabbiga Ilaahiinna ah ugu bixisaan qurbaanno la gubo.
6Of complete stones thou buildest the altar of Jehovah thy God, and hast caused to ascend on it burnt-offerings to Jehovah thy God,
7Oo waa inaad qurbaanno nabaadiino sadqaysaan, oo aad halkaas ku cuntaan, oo aad Rabbiga Ilaahiinna ah hortiisa ku faraxdaan.
7and sacrificed peace-offerings, and eaten there, and rejoiced before Jehovah thy God,
8Oo waa inaad dhagaxyada si bayaan ah ugu qortaan sharcigan erayadiisa oo dhan.
8and written on the stones all the words of this law, well engraved.`
9Markaasaa Muuse iyo wadaaddadii reer Laawi waxay la hadleen reer binu Israa'iil, oo waxay ku yidhaahdeen, Reer binu Israa'iilow, aamusa oo dhegaysta. Maanta waxaad noqoteen dadkii Rabbiga Ilaahiinna ah.
9And Moses speaketh — the priests, the Levites, also — unto all Israel, saying, `Keep silent, and hear, O Israel, this day thou hast become a people to Jehovah thy God;
10Haddaba waa inaad addeecdaan codka Rabbiga Ilaahiinna ah, oo aad yeeshaan amarradiisa iyo qaynuunnadiisa aan maanta idinku amrayo.
10and thou hast hearkened to the voice of Jehovah thy God, and done His commands, and His statutes, which I am commanding thee to-day.`
11Oo isla maalintaas Muuse wuxuu dadkii ku amray oo ku yidhi,
11And Moses commandeth the people on that day, saying,
12Reer Simecoon, iyo reer Laawi, iyo reer Yahuudah, iyo reer Isaakaar, iyo reer Yuusuf, iyo reer Benyaamiin waa inay kor istaagaan Buur Gerisiim inay dadka u duceeyaan markaad Webi Urdun ka gudubtaan.
12`These do stand, to bless the people, on mount Gerizzim, in your passing over the Jordan: Simeon, and Levi, and Judah, and Issachar, and Joseph, and Benjamin.
13Oo reer Ruubeen, iyo reer Gaad, iyo reer Aasheer, iyo reer Sebulun, iyo reer Daan, iyo reer Naftaalina waa inay Buur Ceebaal habaar isla taagaan.
13And these do stand, for the reviling, on mount Ebal: Reuben, Gad, and Asher, and Zebulun, Dan, and Naphtali.
14Oo markaas reer Laawi waa inay jawaabaan oo dadka reer binu Israa'iil oo dhan cod weyn ku yidhaahdaan,
14`And the Levites have answered and said unto every man of Israel — a loud voice:
15Inkaaru ha ku dhacdo ninkii sameeya oo meel qarsoon qotonsada sanam xardhan ama la shubay oo Rabbiga karaahiyo u ah oo ah wax nin saanac ahu gacantiisa ku sameeyey. Oo dadka oo dhammuna ha u jawaabeen oo ha yidhaahdeen, Aamiin.
15`Cursed [is] the man who maketh a graven and molten image, the abomination of Jehovah, work of the hands of an artificer, and hath put [it] in a secret place, — and all the people have answered and said, Amen.
16Inkaaru ha ku dhacdo kii aabbihiis ama hooyadiis fududaysta. Oo dadka oo dhammuna ha yidhaahdeen, Aamiin.
16`Cursed [is] He who is making light of his father and his mother, — and all the people have said, Amen.
17Inkaaru ha ku dhacdo kii soohdinta deriskiisa durkiya. Oo dadka oo dhammuna ha yidhaahdeen, Aamiin.
17`Cursed [is] he who is removing his neighbour`s border, — and all the people have said, Amen.
18Inkaaru ha ku dhacdo kii qof indha la' jidka ka habaabiya. Oo dadka oo dhammuna ha yidhaahdeen, Aamiin.
18`Cursed [is] he who is causing the blind to err in the way, — and all the people have said, Amen.
19Inkaaru ha ku dhacdo kii qalloociya garta qariibka iyo agoonta iyo carmalka. Oo dadka oo dhammuna ha yidhaahdeen, Aamiin.
19`Cursed [is] he who is turning aside the judgment of fatherless, sojourner, and widow, — and all the people have said, Amen.
20Inkaaru ha ku dhacdo kii la seexda naagtii aabbihiis, maxaa yeelay, aabbihiis buu maradii ka banneeyey. Oo dadka oo dhammuna ha yidhaahdeen, Aamiin.
20`Cursed [is] he who is lying with his father`s wife, for he hath uncovered his father`s skirt, — and all the people have said, Amen.
21Inkaaru ha ku dhacdo kii neef u galmooda, cayn kasta ha ahaadee. Oo dadka oo dhammuna ha yidhaahdeen, Aamiin.
21`Cursed [is] he who is lying with any beast, — and all the people have said, Amen.
22Inkaaru ha ku dhacdo kii la seexda walaashiis oo ah ina aabbihiis ama ina hooyadiis. Oo dadka oo dhammuna ha yidhaahdeen, Aamiin.
22`Cursed [is] he who is lying with his sister, daughter of his father, or daughter of his mother, — and all the people have said, Amen.
23Inkaaru ha ku dhacdo kii soddohdiis la seexda. Oo dadka oo dhammuna ha yidhaahdeen, Aamiin.
23`Cursed [is] he who is lying with his mother-in-law, — and all the people have said, Amen.
24Inkaaru ha ku dhacdo kii deriskiisa qarsoodi ku dila. Oo dadka oo dhammuna ha yidhaahdeen, Aamiin.
24`Cursed [is] he who is smiting his neighbour in secret, — and all the people have said, Amen.
25Inkaaru ha ku dhacdo kii laaluush u qaata inuu qof aan xaq qabin dilo. Oo dadka oo dhammuna ha yidhaahdeen, Aamiin.Inkaaru ha ku dhacdo ku kasta oo aan adkayn sharcigan erayadiisa inuu sameeyo. Oo dadka oo dhammuna ha yidhaahdeen, Aamiin.
25`Cursed [is] he who is taking a bribe to smite a person, innocent blood, — and all the people have said, Amen.
26Inkaaru ha ku dhacdo ku kasta oo aan adkayn sharcigan erayadiisa inuu sameeyo. Oo dadka oo dhammuna ha yidhaahdeen, Aamiin.
26`Cursed [is] he who doth not establish the words of this law, to do them, — and all the people have said, Amen.
