3And sons of Gomer [are] Ashkenaz, and Riphath, and Togarmah.
4Wiilashii Yaawaanna waxay ahaayeen Eliishah, iyo Tarshiish, iyo Kitiim iyo Dodaaniim.
4And sons of Javan [are] Elishah, and Tarshish, Kittim, and Dodanim.
5Kuwaasay jasiiradihii quruumuhu ugu kala qaybsameen waddammadoodii, dad kasta sidii afkoodii, iyo qabiilooyinkoodii, iyo quruumahoodii ay ahaayeen.
5By these have the isles of the nations been parted in their lands, each by his tongue, by their families, in their nations.
6Wiilashii Xaamna waxay ahaayeen Kuush, iyo Misrayim, iyo Fuud, iyo Kancaan.
6And sons of Ham [are] Cush, and Mitzraim, and Phut, and Canaan.
7Wiilashii Kuushna waxay ahaayeen Sebaa, iyo Xawiilaah, iyo Sabtaah, iyo Racmaah, iyo Sabteka: wiilashii Racmaahna waxay ahaayeen Shebaa, iyo Dedaan.
7And sons of Cush [are] Seba, and Havilah, and Sabtah, and Raamah, and Sabtechah; and sons of Raamah [are] Sheba and Dedan.
8Kuushna wuxuu dhalay Nimrod: wuxuuna bilaabay inuu noqdo mid dhulka xoog weyn ku leh.
8And Cush hath begotten Nimrod;
9Wuxuu ahaa ugaadhsade ku xoog weyn Rabbiga hortiisa: taas daraaddeed waxaa la yidhaahdaa, Sidii Nimrod ugaadhsade xoog weyn Rabbiga hortiisa.
9he hath begun to be a hero in the land; he hath been a hero in hunting before Jehovah; therefore it is said, `As Nimrod the hero [in] hunting before Jehovah.`

11from that land he hath gone out to Asshur, and buildeth Nineveh, even the broad places of the city, and Calah,

12and Resen, between Nineveh and Calah; it [is] the great city.

13And Mitzraim hath begotten the Ludim, and the Anamim, and the Lehabim, and the Naphtuhim,
14iyo Fatrusiim iyo Kasluxiim (oo ay reer Falastiin ka yimaadeen), iyo Kaftoriim.
14and the Pathrusim, and the Casluhim, (whence have come out Philistim,) and the Caphtorim.
15Kancaanna wuxuu dhalay Siidoon oo ahaa curadkiisii, iyo Xeed;
15And Canaan hath begotten Sidon his first-born, and Heth,
16iyo reer Yebuus, iyo reer Amor, iyo reer Girgaash;
16and the Jebusite, and the Amorite, and the Girgashite,
17iyo reer Xiwi, iyo reer Carqi, iyo reer Siini;
17and the Hivite, and the Arkite, and the Sinite,
18iyo reer Arwaad, iyo reer Semaar, iyo reer Xamaad: dabadeedna qabiilooyinkii Kancaan way kala firdheen.
18and the Arvadite, and the Zemarite, and the Hamathite; and afterwards have the families of the Canaanite been scattered.
19Oo soohdintii reer Kancaan waxay ka bilaabmaysay Siidoon, markii loo kaco xagga Geraar, ilaa Gaasa, oo markii loo kaco xagga Sodom iyo Gomora iyo Admah iyo Seboyim, ilaa Laashac.
19And the border of the Canaanite is from Sidon, [in] thy coming towards Gerar, unto Gaza; [in] thy coming towards Sodom, and Gomorrah, and Admah, and Zeboim, unto Lasha.
20Kuwanu waxay ahaayeen wiilashii Xaam, sidii qabiilooyinkoodii, iyo afafkoodii, iyo waddammadoodii, iyo quruumahoodii ay ahaayeen.
20These [are] sons of Ham, by their families, by their tongues, in their lands, in their nations.
21Sheem oo aabbe u ahaa carruurtii Ceeber oo dhan, oo ahaa Yaafed walaalkiisii weynaa, isagana carruur baa u dhalatay.
21As to Shem, father of all sons of Eber, brother of Japheth the elder, he hath also begotten:
22Wiilashii Sheemna waxay ahaayeen Ceelaam, iyo Ashuur, iyo Arfaksad, iyo Luud, iyo Araam.
22Sons of Shem [are] Elam, and Asshur, and Arphaxad, and Lud, and Aram.
23Wiilashii Araamna waxay ahaayeen Cuus, iyo Xuul, iyo Geter, iyo Mash.
23And sons of Aram [are] Uz, and Hul, and Gether, and Mash.
24Arfaksadna wuxuu dhalay Salah; Salahna wuxuu dhalay Ceeber.
24And Arphaxad hath begotten Salah, and Salah hath begotten Eber.
25Ceeberna waxaa u dhashay laba wiil: mid magiciisu wuxuu ahaa Feleg; waayo, waagiisii ayaa dhulku qaybsamay; magaca walaalkiisna wuxuu ahaa Yoqtaan.
25And to Eber have two sons been born; the name of the one [is] Peleg (for in his days hath the earth been divided,) and his brother`s name [is] Joktan.
26Yoqtaanna wuxuu dhalay Almoodaad, iyo Shelef, iyo Xasarmaawed, iyo Yerah;
26And Joktan hath begotten Almodad, and Sheleph, and Hazarmaveth, and Jerah,
27iyo Hadooraam, iyo Uusaal, iyo Diqlah;
27and Hadoram, and Uzal, and Diklah,
28iyo Coobaal, iyo Abiimaa'el, iyo Shebaa;
28and Obal, and Abimael, and Sheba,
29iyo Oofir, iyo Xawiilaah, iyo Yoobaab: kuwaasu kulli waxay ahaayeen wiilashii Yoqtaan.
29and Ophir, and Havilah, and Jobab; all these [are] sons of Joktan;
30Meeshay degganaayeenna waxay ka bilaabmaysay Meesha, markii loo kaco xagga Sefaar, buurta bari.
30and their dwelling is from Mesha, [in] thy coming towards Sephar, a mount of the east.
31Kuwanu waxay ahaayeen wiilashii Sheem; sidii qabiilooyinkoodii, iyo afafkoodii, iyo waddammadoodii, iyo quruumahoodii ay ahaayeen.Kuwanu waa qabiilooyinkii wiilashii Nuux; sidii farcankoodii iyo quruumahoodii ay ahaayeen; oo kuwanaa quruumuhu ka kala qaybsameen daadkii dabadiis.
31These [are] sons of Shem, by their families, by their tongues, in their lands, by their nations.
32Kuwanu waa qabiilooyinkii wiilashii Nuux; sidii farcankoodii iyo quruumahoodii ay ahaayeen; oo kuwanaa quruumuhu ka kala qaybsameen daadkii dabadiis.
32These [are] families of the sons of Noah, by their births, in their nations, and by these have the nations been parted in the earth after the deluge.
