Young`s Literal Translation

Luke

20

1Maalmahaa middood intuu Ciise dadka macbudkii wax ku barayay oo injiilka kaga dhex wacdiyeyey, waxaa dhacay in wadaaddada sare iyo culimmada ula yimaadeen waayeellada
1And it came to pass, on one of those days, as he is teaching the people in the temple, and proclaiming good news, the chief priests and the scribes, with the elders, came upon [him],
2oo la hadleen oo ku yidhaahdeen, Noo sheeg, Amarkee baad waxan ku samaysaa? Oo yuu yahay kan amarkan ku siiyey?
2and spake unto him, saying, `Tell us by what authority thou dost these things? or who is he that gave to thee this authority?`
3Markaasuu u jawaabay oo ku yidhi, Aniguna hal baan idin weyddiinayaa, iina sheega.
3And he answering said unto them, `I will question you — I also — one thing, and tell me:
4Baabtiiskii Yooxanaa ma wuxuu ka yimid xagga jannada mase dadka?
4the baptism of John, from heaven was it, or from men?`
5Dhexdooda ayay iskala hadleen iyagoo leh, Haddaynu nidhaahno, Xagga jannada, wuxuu odhanayaa, Maxaad u rumaysan weydeen?
5And they reasoned with themselves, saying — `If we may say, From heaven, he will say, Wherefore, then, did ye not believe him?
6Laakiin haddii aynu nidhaahno, Xagga dadka, dadka oo dhan ayaa ina dhagxinaya, waayo, waa la aaminsiiyey inuu Yooxanaa nebi ahaa.
6and if we may say, From men, all the people will stone us, for they are having been persuaded John to be a prophet.`
7Markaasay waxay ugu jawaabeen inaanay garan meeshuu ka yimid.
7And they answered, that they knew not whence [it was],
8Ciisena wuxuu ku yidhi, Aniguna idiin sheegi maayo amarka aan waxan ku sameeyo.
8and Jesus said to them, `Neither do I say to you by what authority I do these things.`
9Wuxuu bilaabay inuu masaalkan dadka kula hadlo. Nin baa wuxuu beertay beer canab ah, oo niman beerrey ah u kiraystay, markaasuu dal kale tegey, oo wax badan ku maqnaa.
9And he began to speak unto the people this simile: `A certain man planted a vineyard, and gave it out to husbandmen, and went abroad for a long time,
10Goortii xilligii yimid, ayuu addoon u soo diray beerreydii inay isaga siiyaan midhaha beerta, laakiin beerreydii ayaa garaacday oo waxla'aan ku dirtay.
10and at the season he sent unto the husbandmen a servant, that from the fruit of the vineyard they may give to him, but the husbandmen having beat him, did send [him] away empty.
11Haddana wuxuu diray addoon kale, kaasna way garaaceen, oo ceebeeyeen, oo waxla'aan ku direen.
11`And he added to send another servant, and they that one also having beaten and dishonoured, did send away empty;
12Haddana mid saddexaad ayuu diray, kaasna way dhaawaceen oo iska tuureen.
12and he added to send a third, and this one also, having wounded, they did cast out.
13Markaasaa sayidka beerta wuxuu yidhi, Maxaan sameeyaa? Waxaan dirayaa wiilkaygaan jeclahay, malaha way maamuusi doonaan.
13`And the owner of the vineyard said, What shall I do? I will send my son — the beloved, perhaps having seen this one, they will do reverence;
14Laakiin beerreydii goortay arkeen, waxay isku yidhaahdeen, Kanu waa kii dhaxalka lahaa; aan dilnee, si aynu dhaxalka u lahaanno.
14and having seen him, the husbandmen reasoned among themselves, saying, This is the heir; come, we may kill him, that the inheritance may become ours;
15Markaasay beertii canabka ahayd dibaddeeda ku tuureen, wayna dileen. Haddaba sayidkii beerta canabka ah muxuu iyaga ku samayn doonaa?
15and having cast him outside of the vineyard, they killed [him]; what, then, shall the owner of the vineyard do to them?
16Wuu iman doonaa oo beerreydaas dili doonaa, oo dad kale ayuu beerta canabka ah u dhiibi doonaa. Goortay taas maqleen waxay yidhaahdeen, Yaanay noqon.
16He will come, and destroy these husbandmen, and will give the vineyard to others.` And having heard, they said, `Let it not be!`
17Laakiin wuu eegay oo ku yidhi, Haddaba muxuu yahay waxan la qoray, Dhagaxii kuwa wax dhisaa ay diideen, Kaasu wuxuu noqday madaxa rukunka?
17and he, having looked upon them, said, `What, then, is this that hath been written: A stone that the builders rejected — this became head of a corner?
18Mid kasta oo dhagaxaas ku dhacaa, wuu jejebi doonaa, laakiin kan uu ku dhoco, wuu burburin doonaa.
18every one who hath fallen on that stone shall be broken, and on whom it may fall, it will crush him to pieces.`
19Saacaddaas qudheeda ayaa culimmadii iyo wadaaddadii sare dooneen inay isagii qabtaan; laakiin dadkay ka baqeen; waayo, waxay garteen inuu masaalkan iyaga kaga hadlay.
19And the chief priests and the scribes sought to lay hands on him in that hour, and they feared the people, for they knew that against them he spake this simile.
20Wayna dayayeen, oo ay u soo direen jaajuusiin iska dhigaya dad xaq ah, si ay hadalkiisa ugu qabtaan, oo ay ugu gacangeliyaan talada iyo amarka taliyaha.
20And, having watched [him], they sent forth liers in wait, feigning themselves to be righteous, that they might take hold of his word, to deliver him up to the rule and to the authority of the governor,
21Markaasay weyddiiyeen oo ku yidhaahdeen, Macallimow, waxaannu og nahay inaad si hagaagsan wax u tidhaahdo oo wax u bartid, oo aanad ninna u eexan, laakiin aad jidka Ilaah run ku bartid.
21and they questioned him, saying, `Teacher, we have known that thou dost say and teach rightly, and dost not accept a person, but in truth the way of God dost teach;
22Ma xalaal baa inaannu cashuur Kaysar siinno ama inaannan siin?
22Is it lawful to us to give tribute to Caesar or not?`
23Laakiin khiyaanadooda wuu gartay, oo wuxuu ku yidhi,
23And he, having perceived their craftiness, said unto them, `Why me do ye tempt?
24Dinaar i tusa. Yaa leh masawirkan iyo qorniinkan ku yaal? Waxay yidhaahdeen, Kaysar baa leh.
24shew me a denary; of whom hath it an image and superscription?` and they answering said, `Of Caesar:`
25Markaasuu ku yidhi, Haddaba Kaysar siiya wixii Kaysar leeyahay, Ilaahna siiya wixii Ilaah leeyahay.
25and he said to them, `Give back, therefore, the things of Caesar to Caesar, and the things of God to God;`
26Hadalkiisa way ku qaban kari waayeen dadka hortiisa, wayna ka yaabeen jawaabtiisa, oo way aamuseen.
26and they were not able to take hold on his saying before the people, and having wondered at his answer, they were silent.
27Waxaa u yimid qaar Sadukiin ah, kuwii odhan jiray, Sarakicidda kuwii dhintay ma jirto.
27And certain of the Sadducees, who are denying that there is a rising again, having come near, questioned him,
28Oo waxay weyddiiyeen oo ku yidhaahdeen, Macallimow, Muuse wuxuu noo qoray, Nin walaalkiis hadduu dhinto isagoo naag leh oo aan carruur lahayn, walaalkiis naagtiisa waa inuu dumaalo oo uu carruur walaalkiis u dhalo.
28saying, `Teacher, Moses wrote to us, If any one`s brother may die, having a wife, and he may die childless — that his brother may take the wife, and may raise up seed to his brother.
29Haddaba waxaa jiray toddoba walaalo ah. Kii ugu horreeyey naag buu qabay, wuuna dhintay carruurla'aan.
29`There were, then, seven brothers, and the first having taken a wife, died childless,
30Kii labaadna wuu guursaday,
30and the second took the wife, and he died childless,
31oo kii saddexaadna waa dumaalay. Sidaasay toddobadii u wada guursadeen, carruurna kama ay tegin, wayna dhinteen.
31and the third took her, and in like manner also the seven — they left not children, and they died;
32Kulligood dabadeed naagtiina waa dhimatay.
32and last of all died also the woman:
33Haddaba wakhtiga sarakicidda kuwii dhintay, iyaga kee bay naagtiisa ahaan doontaa? Waayo, toddobadu way wada guursadeen.
33in the rising again, then, of which of them doth she become wife? — for the seven had her as wife.`
34Ciise wuxuu ku yidhi, Wiilashii wakhtigan waa guursadaan, guurna waa la siiyaa,
34And Jesus answering said to them, `The sons of this age do marry and are given in marriage,
35laakiin kuwa loo xisaabay inay istaahilaan inay gaadhaan wakhtigaas iyo ka soo sarakicidda kuwii dhintay ma guursadaan, guurna lama siiyo,
35but those accounted worthy to obtain that age, and the rising again that is out of the dead, neither marry, nor are they given in marriage;
36waayo, kol dambe ma dhiman karaan, maxaa yeelay, waxay yihiin sida malaa'igaha, oo waxay yihiin wiilashii Ilaah iyagoo ah wiilashii sarakicidda.
36for neither are they able to die any more — for they are like messengers — and they are sons of God, being sons of the rising again.
37Laakiin in kuwii dhintay la sara kiciyo Muuse ayaa tilmaamay xaggii geedka markuu Rabbiga ugu yeedhay Ilaaha Ibraahim iyo Ilaaha Isxaaq iyo Ilaaha Yacquub.
37`And that the dead are raised, even Moses shewed at the Bush, since he doth call the Lord, the God of Abraham, and the God of Isaac, and the God of Jacob;
38Laakiin isagu ma aha Ilaaha kuwa dhintay, laakiin waa Ilaaha kuwa nool, waayo, dhammaan isagay u nool yihiin.
38and He is not a God of dead men, but of living, for all live to Him.`
39Culimmada qaarkood ayaa u jawaabay oo ku yidhi, Macallimow, si wanaagsan ayaad u hadashay.
39And certain of the scribes answering said, `Teacher, thou didst say well;`
40Kol dambe kuma ay dhicin inay wax weyddiiyaan.
40and no more durst they question him anything.
41Wuxuuna ku yidhi, Sidee bay u yidhaahdaan, Masiixu waa ina Daa'uud?
41And he said unto them, `How do they say the Christ to be son of David,
42Daa'uud qudhiisa ayaa kitaabkii Sabuurrada ku leh, Rabbigu wuxuu Sayidkayga ku yidhi, Midigtayda fadhiiso,
42and David himself saith in the Book of Psalms, The Lord said to my lord, Sit thou on my right hand,
43Ilaa aan cadaawayaashaada cagahaaga hoostooda geliyo.
43till I shall make thine enemies thy footstool;
44Haddaba Daa'uud ayaa ugu yeedhay Sayid, ee sidee buu wiilkiisa u yahay?
44David, then, doth call him lord, and how is he his son?`
45Dadkii oo dhan oo maqlaya, ayuu xertiisii ku yidhi,
45And, all the people hearing, he said to his disciples,
46Iska jira culimmada oo doonaya inay khamiisyo dhaadheer ku socdaan, oo jecel salaanta suuqa, iyo kursiyada hore oo sunagogyada, iyo meelaha hore oo diyaafadaha,kuwa wada laasta guryaha carmallada, oo tukashooyin dhaadheer istusid u tukada. Kuwaas waxay heli doonaan xisaab aad u daran.
46`Take heed of the scribes, who are wishing to walk in long robes, and are loving salutations in the markets, and first seats in the synagogues, and first couches in the suppers,
47kuwa wada laasta guryaha carmallada, oo tukashooyin dhaadheer istusid u tukada. Kuwaas waxay heli doonaan xisaab aad u daran.
47who devour the houses of the widows, and for a pretence make long prayers, these shall receive more abundant judgment.`
