¹Markaasaa Rabbigu Muuse la hadlay, oo wuxuu ku yidhi,

¹And Jehovah speaketh unto Moses, saying,

²Reer binu Israa'iil la hadal, oo iyaga ulo ka qaad. Qabiil kastaba ul ka qaad; amiirradooda oo dhan sida ay qabiilooyinkoodu kala yihiin laba iyo toban ulood ka kala qaad. Oo nin walba magiciisa ushiisa ku qor.

²`Speak unto the sons of Israel, and take from them each a rod, for a father`s house, from all their princes, for the house of their fathers, twelve rods; the name of each thou dost write on his rod,

³Usha reer Laawi waxaad ku qortaa magaca Haaruun. Qabiilooyinkooda madaxdooda mid kastaaba waa inuu ul lahaadaa.

³and Aaron`s name thou dost write on the tribe of Levi; for one rod [is] for the head of their fathers` house:

⁴Oo waa inaad iyaga hor dhigtaa maragga teendhada shirka ku yaal, taasoo ah meesha aan idinkula kulmo.

⁴and thou hast placed them in the tent of meeting, before the testimony, where I meet with you.

⁵Oo markaas ninkii aan doorto ushiisu way magooli doontaa, oo anna hortayda waan ka joojin doonaa gunuuska ay reer binu Israa'iil adiga kuu gunuusaan.

⁵`And it hath come to pass, the man`s rod on whom I fix doth flourish, and I have caused to cease from off me the murmurings of the sons of Israel, which they are murmuring against you.`

⁶Markaasaa Muuse reer binu Israa'iil la hadlay, oo amiirradoodii oo dhammu waxay isagii siiyeen ulo, oo amiir kastaaba mid buu siiyey siday qabiilooyinkoodu ahaayeen, intaasu waxay ahayd laba iyo toban ulood; oo ushii Haaruunna ulahooday ku dhex jirtay.

⁶And Moses speaketh unto the sons of Israel, and all their princes give unto him one rod for a prince, one rod for a prince, for their fathers` house, twelve rods, and the rod of Aaron [is] in the midst of their rods;

⁷Markaasaa Muuse ulihii dhigay Rabbiga hortiisa teendhadii maragga gudaheeda.

⁷and Moses placeth the rods before Jehovah, in the tent of the testimony.

⁸Maalintii dambe waxaa noqotay in Muuse galay teendhadii maragga, oo bal eeg, wuxuu arkay ushii Haaruun oo reer Laawi oo magooshay; way magooshay, wayna ubxisay, oo waxay dhashay yicib bisil.

⁸And it cometh to pass, on the morrow, that Moses goeth in unto the tent of the testimony, and lo, the rod of Aaron hath flourished for the house of Levi, and is bringing out flourishing, and doth blossom blossoms, and doth produce almonds;

⁹Markaasaa Muuse ulihii ka soo qaaday Rabbiga hortiisa oo wuxuu u keenay reer binu Israa'iil oo dhan, oo way fiiriyeen oo nin waluba ushiisii buu qaatay.

⁹and Moses bringeth out all the rods from before Jehovah, unto all the sons of Israel, and they look, and take each his rod.

¹⁰Markaasaa Rabbigu Muuse ku yidhi, Usha Haaruun dib ugu celi maragga hortiisa in iyada loo haysto calaamo ka gees ah dadka caasiya, inaad iga joojisid gunuuskooda ay ii gunuusaan, yaanay iyagu dhimane.

¹⁰And Jehovah saith unto Moses, `Put back the rod of Aaron, before the testimony, for a charge, for a sign to the sons of rebellion, and thou dost remove their murmurings from off me, and they do not die;`

¹¹Oo sidaasaa Muuse yeelay. Sidii Rabbigu isaga ugu amray ayuu u sameeyey.

¹¹and Moses doth as Jehovah hath commanded him; so he hath done.

¹²Markaasay reer binu Israa'iil Muuse la hadleen, oo waxay ku yidhaahdeen, War bal eeg, waannu baabba'aynaa, oo waannu halligmaynaa, kulligayo waannu wada halligmaynaaye.Mid kasta oo soo dhowaada oo u soo dhowaadaa taambuugga Rabbiga wuu dhiman doonaa. Haddaba kulligayo miyaannu wada baabba'aynaa?

¹²And the sons of Israel speak unto Moses, saying, `Lo, we have expired; we have perished; we have all of us perished;

¹³Mid kasta oo soo dhowaada oo u soo dhowaadaa taambuugga Rabbiga wuu dhiman doonaa. Haddaba kulligayo miyaannu wada baabba'aynaa?

¹³any who is at all drawing near unto the tabernacle of Jehovah dieth; have we not been consumed — to expire?`
