6

1Markaasaa Boqor Daariyus amar bixiyey, oo waa la baadhay gurigii buugagga taariikhda oo khasnadaha la dhigi jiray ee Baabuloon ku dhex yiil.
1Then king Darius gave orders, and search was made in the house of the rolls, where the treasures were laid up in Babylon.
2Markaasaa magaalada Axmetaa la yidhaahdo oo ku tiil gobolka Maadi ayaa hoygii boqorka laga helay qorniin duudduuban, oo waxaa xusuus ugu qornaa wax sidan ah.
2And there was found at Achmetha in the fortress that is in the province of Media a roll, and therein was a record thus written:
3Sannaddii kowaad oo Boqor Kuuros ayaa Boqor Kuuros bixiyey amar ku saabsan guriga Ilaah oo Yeruusaalem ku yaal, oo wuxuu yidhi, Guriga ha la dhiso, kaasoo ah meeshii allabaryo lagu bixiyo, oo aasaaskiisana si adag ha loo dhigo, oo sarajooggiisu ha ahaado lixdan dhudhun, ballaadhkiisuna lixdan dhudhun;
3In the first year of king Cyrus, king Cyrus made a decree [concerning] the house of God at Jerusalem: Let the house be built for a place where they offer sacrifices, and let its foundations be solidly laid; its height sixty cubits, its breadth sixty cubits,
4oo ha lagu dhiso saddex saf oo dhagaxyo waaweyn ah iyo saf alwaax cusub ah; kharashkiisana ha laga bixiyo guriga boqorka.
4[with] three rows of great stones, and a row of new timber; and let the expenses be given out of the king's house:
5Oo weliba weelashii guriga Ilaah oo ahaa dahabka iyo lacagta oo Nebukadnesar uu ka soo qaaday macbudka Yeruusaalem ku yaal, oo uu keenay Baabuloon, ha la celiyo, oo mar dambe ha la geeyo macbudka Yeruusaalem ku yaal, mid kastaba meeshiisii ha la dhigo, oo waxaad gelisaa guriga Ilaah.
5and also let the golden and silver vessels of the house of God, which Nebuchadnezzar took out of the temple that is at Jerusalem and brought to Babylon, be restored and brought again to the temple that is at Jerusalem, in their place; and thou shalt put [them] in the house of God.
6Haddaba sidaas daraaddeed Tatenay, oo ah taliyaha dalka webiga ka shisheeya, iyo Shetar Boosnay, iyo saaxiibbadiinna reer Afarsekaayee oo webiga shishadiisa joogow, idinku halkaas iskaga fogaada,
6Therefore Tatnai, governor beyond the river, Shethar-boznai, and your companions the Apharsachites, who are beyond the river, be ye far from thence:
7oo gurigan Ilaah shuqulkiisa faraha ka qaada, oo taliyaha Yuhuudda iyo odayaasha Yuhuuddu gurigan Ilaah meeshiisii ha ka dhiseen.
7let the work of this house of God alone; let the governor of the Jews and the elders of the Jews build this house of God in its place.
8Oo weliba waxaan amar ku bixiyey wixii aad u samayn lahaydeen odayaashan Yuhuudda oo dhisaya gurigan Ilaah. Waa in alaabta boqorka iyo xataa gabbarada laga qaado inta webiga ka shishaysa nimankan kharash loo siiyo iyadoo aad loogu dadaalayo, si aan iyaga loo hor joogsan innaba.
8Moreover, I give orders what ye shall do to these elders of the Jews, for the building of this house of God: that of the king's goods, of the tribute beyond the river, expenses be diligently given to these men, that they be not hindered.
9Oo wax alla wixii ay u baahan yihiin oo ay wadaaddada Yeruusaalem jooga idin weyddiistaan oo ah dibi yaryar, iyo wanan, iyo baraar, oo ay Ilaaha samada qurbaanno la gubo ugu bixiyaan, iyo sarreen, iyo cusbo, iyo khamri, iyo saliidba ha la siiyo maalin kasta, oo yaan laga baajin,
9And that which they have need of, both young bullocks and rams and lambs, for the burnt-offerings to the God of the heavens, wheat, salt, wine, and oil, according to the appointment of the priests that are at Jerusalem, let it be given them day by day without fail;
10inay iyagu Ilaaha samada u bixiyaan allabaryo caraf udgoon, oo ay u duceeyaan boqorka naftiisa iyo tan wiilashiisaba.
10that they may present sweet odours to the God of the heavens, and pray for the life of the king and of his sons.
11Oo weliba waxaan kaloo amar ku bixiyey in ku alla kii eraygan beddela gurigiisa loox weyn laga bixiyo, oo inta la qotomiyo, isaga lagu deldelo, oo gurigiisana taas aawadeed ha laga dhigo taallo digo ah,
11Also I have given order that whosoever shall alter this rescript, let timber be pulled down from his house, and being set up, let him be hanged thereon, and let his house be made a dunghill for this.
12oo Ilaahii magiciisa halkaas dejiyey ha afgembiyo boqorradii iyo dadkii gacantooda u soo fidiya inay amarkaas beddelaan si ay u dumiyaan gurigaas Ilaah oo Yeruusaalem ku yaal. Anigoo Daariyus ah amar baan bixiyey, ee haddaba dadaal ha loo sameeyo.
12And the God that has caused his name to dwell there overthrow every king and people that shall put forth their hand to alter [or] to destroy this house of God which is at Jerusalem. I Darius have given [this] order; let it be done diligently.
13Wixii Boqor Daariyus u soo diray aawadiis ayay Tatenay oo ahaa taliyihii dalka webiga ka shisheeya, iyo Shetar Boosnay, iyo saaxiibbadoodba dadaal ku wada sameeyeen.
13Then Tatnai, governor on this side the river, Shethar-boznai, and their companions, because of that which king Darius had sent, did so diligently.
14Oo duqowdii Yuhuudduna waxay wax ku dhiseen oo ku liibaaneen wax sii sheegiddii Nebi Xaggay iyo Sekaryaah oo ahaa ina Iddo. Oo iyagu macbudkii way dhiseen oo dhammeeyeen, sidii uu ahaa amarkii Ilaaha reer binu Israa'iil, iyo sidii uu ahaa amarkii Kuuros, iyo Daariyus, iyo Artaxshasta oo ahaa boqorkii Faaris.
14And the elders of the Jews built; and they prospered through the prophesying of Haggai the prophet and Zechariah the son of Iddo. And they built and completed [it] according to the commandment of the God of Israel, and according to the commandment of Cyrus, and Darius, and Artaxerxes king of Persia.
15Oo gurigaas dhismihiisii waxaa la dhammeeyey sannaddii lixaad oo dowladnimadii Boqor Daariyus bishii Adaar maalinteedii saddexaad.
15And this house was finished on the third day of the month Adar, which was in the sixth year of the reign of king Darius.
16Oo reer binu Israa'iil, iyo wadaaddadii, iyo reer Laawi, iyo dadkii maxaabiista ka soo noqday intoodii kaleba gurigan Ilaah gaar bay uga dhigeen iyagoo faraxsan.
16And the children of Israel, the priests and the Levites, and the rest of the children of the captivity, kept the dedication of this house of God with joy;
17Oo markay gurigan Ilaah gaar uga dhigayeen waxay u bixiyeen boqol dibi, iyo laba boqol oo wan, iyo afar boqol oo baraar ah; oo qurbaan dembina waxay reer binu Israa'iil oo dhan ugu bixiyeen laba iyo toban orgi intii ay ahaayeen tirada qabiilooyinkii reer binu Israa'iil.
17and they presented at the dedication of this house of God a hundred bullocks, two hundred rams, four hundred lambs, and for a sin-offering for all Israel, twelve he-goats, according to the number of the tribes of Israel.
18Oo sida kitaabkii Muuse ku qoran waxay wadaaddadii u qaybiyeen qaybahoodii, kuwii reer Laawina jagooyinkoodii, adeegidda Ilaah oo Yeruusaalem laga adeegayo aawadeed.
18And they set the priests in their classes, and the Levites in their divisions, for the service of God, which is at Jerusalem: as it is written in the book of Moses.
19Oo bishii kowaad maalinteedii afar iyo tobnaad ayaa dadkii maxaabiisnimada ka soo noqday waxay dhawreen Iiddii Kormaridda.
19And the children of the captivity held the passover upon the fourteenth of the first month.
20Waayo, wadaaddadii iyo kuwii reer Laawi way iswada daahirsheen dhammaantood; oo giddigood daahir bay ahaayeen, markaasay neefkii Kormaridda u bireeyeen dadkii maxaabiisnimada ka soo noqday oo dhan, iyo wadaaddadii walaalahood ahaa, iyo naftoodiiba.
20For the priests and the Levites had purified themselves as one [man]: they were all pure; and they killed the passover for all the children of the captivity, and for their brethren the priests, and for themselves.
21Oo waxaa cunay reer binu Israa'iil oo maxaabiisnimada ka soo noqday, iyo in alla intii naftooda gooni uga soocday nijaastii dadkii dalka degganaa inay doondoonaan Rabbiga ah Ilaaha reer binu Israa'iil,oo waxay toddoba maalmood farxad ku dhawreen Iiddii Kibista-aan-khamiirka-lahayn, waayo, Rabbigu aad buu uga farxiyey, oo wuxuu iyaga u soo jeediyey qalbigii boqorkii Ashuur inuu gacmahooda xoogeeyo intay ka shaqaynayeen gurigii Ilaah, kaasoo ah Ilaaha reer binu Israa'iil.
21And the children of Israel that were come back out of captivity, and all such as had separated themselves to them from the filthiness of the nations of the land, to seek Jehovah the God of Israel, did eat;
22oo waxay toddoba maalmood farxad ku dhawreen Iiddii Kibista-aan-khamiirka-lahayn, waayo, Rabbigu aad buu uga farxiyey, oo wuxuu iyaga u soo jeediyey qalbigii boqorkii Ashuur inuu gacmahooda xoogeeyo intay ka shaqaynayeen gurigii Ilaah, kaasoo ah Ilaaha reer binu Israa'iil.
22and they kept the feast of unleavened bread seven days with joy; for Jehovah had made them joyful, and turned the heart of the king of Assyria to them, to strengthen their hands in the work of the house of God, the God of Israel.
