Darby's Translation

Psalms

69

1Ilaahow, i badbaadi, Waayo, biyaa naftii ii keenay.
1{To the chief Musician. Upon Shoshannim. [A Psalm] of David.} Save me, O God; for the waters are come in unto [my] soul.
2Waxaan ku dhex liimbadaa dhoobo mool dheer oo aan lahayn meel laysku taago, Waxaan ku dhacay biyo mool dheer, oo daad baa halkaas igu qarqinaya.
2I sink in deep mire, where there is no standing; I am come into the depths of waters, and the flood overfloweth me.
3Waxaan ku daalay qayladaydii, oo hungurigaygu waa qallalay, Oo intii aan Ilaahay sugayo ayay indhahaygu dem yidhaahdaan.
3I am weary with my crying, my throat is parched; mine eyes fail while I wait for my God.
4Kuwa sababla'aanta ii nebcaadaa way ka sii badan yihiin timaha madaxayga, Kuwa doonaya inay i baabbi'iyaan iyagoo cadaawayaashayda gardarro igu ah waa xoog badan yihiin, Markaasaan magdhabay wax aanan qaadan.
4They that hate me without a cause are more than the hairs of my head; they that would destroy me, being mine enemies wrongfully, are mighty: then I restored that which I took not away.
5Ilaahow, waad og tahay nacasnimadayda, Oo dembiyadayduna kaama qarsoona.
5Thou, O God, knowest my foolishness, and my trespasses are not hidden from thee.
6Sayidow, Ilaaha ciidammadow, kuwa ku sugaya yaanan ceeb u soo jiidin, Ilaaha reer binu Israa'iilow, kuwa ku doondoonaya yaanan sharafjab u soo jiidin.
6Let not them that wait on thee, Lord, Jehovah of hosts, be ashamed through me; let not those that seek thee be confounded through me, O God of Israel.
7Maxaa yeelay, adiga daraaddaa ayaan cay u qaaday, Oo waxaa wejigaygii ka muuqatay ceeb.
7Because for thy sake I have borne reproach; confusion hath covered my face.
8Waxaan walaalahay u noqday shisheeye, Oo ilma hooyadayna waxaan u noqday ajanabi.
8I am become a stranger unto my brethren, and an alien unto my mother's sons;
9Qiiradii aan gurigaaga u qabay ayaa i gubtay, Oo caydii kuwii ku caayay ayaa igu kor dhacday.
9For the zeal of thy house hath devoured me, and the reproaches of them that reproach thee have fallen upon me.
10Markaan ooyay, oo aan naftayda soon ku edbiyey, Taasu waxay igu noqotay ceeb.
10And I wept, my soul was fasting: that also was to my reproach; --
11Markaan joonyado dhar ka dhigtayna, Waxaan iyagii u noqday masaal.
11And I made sackcloth my garment: then I became a proverb to them.
12Kuwa iridda fadhfadhiyaa way igu sheekaystaan, Oo kuwa sakhraanka ahuna way igu gabyaan.
12They that sit in the gate talk of me, and [I am] the song of the drunkards.
13Laakiinse adigaan ku baryayaa wakhti la aqbali karo, Rabbiyow, Ilaahow, naxariistaada badan Iyo runta badbaadintaada iigu jawaab.
13But as for me, my prayer is unto thee, Jehovah, in an acceptable time: O God, in the abundance of thy loving-kindness answer me, according to the truth of thy salvation:
14Dhoobada iga samatabbixi, oo yaanan ku liimban, Oo ha layga samatabbixiyo kuwa i neceb, iyo biyaha moolka dheer.
14Deliver me out of the mire, let me not sink; let me be delivered from them that hate me, and out of the depths of waters.
15Biyaha daadka ahuna yaanay i qarqin, Oo yaan moolku i liqin, Oo yaamayskuna yaanu afkiisa igu qabsan.
15Let not the flood of waters overflow me, neither let the deep swallow me up; and let not the pit shut its mouth upon me.
16Rabbiyow, ii jawaab, waayo, raxmaddaadu waa wanaagsan tahay, Naxariistaada badnaanteeda aawadeed iigu soo jeeso.
16Answer me, O Jehovah; for thy loving-kindness is good: according to the abundance of thy tender mercies, turn toward me;
17Oo wejigaaga ha iga qarin anoo addoonkaaga ah, Waayo, waan dhibaataysnahay, ee haddiiba ii jawaab.
17And hide not thy face from thy servant, for I am in trouble: answer me speedily.
18Naftayda u soo dhowow, oo furo, Oo cadaawayaashayda daraaddood ii samatabbixi.
18Draw nigh unto my soul, be its redeemer; ransom me because of mine enemies.
19Waad og tahay caydayda iyo ceebtayda iyo sharafdarradayda, Oo cadaawayaashayda oo dhammu hortaaday joogaan.
19*Thou* knowest my reproach, and my shame, and my dishonour: mine adversaries are all before thee.
20Cay baa i qalbi jebisay, waanan quusanayaa, Oo waxaan doondoonay mid ii jixinjixa, laakiinse waan waayay, Oo waxaan doondoonay kuwo i qalbi qaboojiya, laakiinse ma aanan helin.
20Reproach hath broken my heart, and I am overwhelmed: and I looked for sympathy, but there was none; and for comforters, but I found none.
21Oo weliba waxay cunto ahaan ii siiyeen xammeeti, Oo markaan harraadsanaana waxay i cabsiiyeen khal.
21Yea, they gave me gall for my food, and in my thirst they gave me vinegar to drink.
22Miiskoodu hortooda ha ku noqdo dabin, Oo markay nabdoon yihiinna shirqool ha ku noqdo.
22Let their table become a snare before them, and their very welfare a trap;
23Indhahoodu ha madoobaadeen si aanay waxba u arkin, Oo simahooduna had iyo goorba ha gariireen.
23Let their eyes be darkened, that they see not, and make their loins continually to shake.
24Xanaaqaaga iyaga ku deji, Oo cadhadaada kulaylkeeduna ha qabsado.
24Pour out thine indignation upon them, and let the fierceness of thine anger take hold of them.
25Gurigoodu cidla ha noqdo, Ninnana yaanu teendhooyinkooda degin,
25Let their habitation be desolate; let there be no dweller in their tents.
26Waayo, iyagu waxay silciyaan kii aad dishay, Oo waxay ka sheekeeyaan kuwaad dhaawacday murugtooda.
26For they persecute him whom *thou* hast smitten, and they talk for the sorrow of those whom thou hast wounded.
27Xumaantooda xumaan ugu sii dar, Oo yaanay xaqnimadaada soo gelin.
27Add iniquity unto their iniquity, and let them not come into thy righteousness.
28Magacooda ha laga tirtiro kitaabka kuwa nool, Oo yaan iyaga lala qorin kuwa xaqa ah.
28Let them be blotted out of the book of life, and not be written with the righteous.
29Laakiinse anigu miskiin baan ahay, waanan murug badnahay, Ilaahow, badbaadintaadu meel sare ha i saarto.
29But I am afflicted and sorrowful: let thy salvation, O God, set me secure on high.
30Rabbiga magiciisa ayaan gabay ku ammaani doonaa, Oo waxaan isaga ku weynayn doonaa mahadnaqid.
30I will praise the name of God with a song, and will magnify him with thanksgiving;
31Oo taasuna Rabbiga way ka farxin doontaa in ka sii wanaagsan intii uu ku farxi lahaa dibi, Ama dibi sange ah oo geeso iyo qoobab leh.
31And it shall please Jehovah more than an ox, -- a bullock with horns and cloven hoofs.
32Kuwa camal qabow way arkeen, waana faraxsan yihiin, Kuwiinna Ilaah doondoonow, qalbigiinnu ha noolaado.
32The meek shall see it, they shall be glad; ye that seek God, your heart shall live.
33Waayo, Rabbigu wuu maqlaa kuwa baahan, Oo maxaabiistiisana ma uu quudhsado.
33For Jehovah heareth the needy, and despiseth not his prisoners.
34Samada, iyo dhulka, iyo badaha, Iyo waxa ku dhex dhaqaaqa oo dhammuba isaga ha ammaaneen.
34Let heavens and earth praise him; the seas, and everything that moveth therein.
35Waayo, Ilaah Siyoon wuu badbaadin doonaa, oo magaalooyinka reer Yahuudahna wuu dhisi doonaa, Oo iyana halkaasay degi doonaan, oo hanti ahaan bay u lahaan doonaan.Oo weliba waxaa halkaas dhaxli doona farcanka addoommadiisa, Oo kuwa magiciisa jecelna way dhex degganaan doonaan.
35For God will save Zion, and will build the cities of Judah; and they shall dwell there, and possess it:
36Oo weliba waxaa halkaas dhaxli doona farcanka addoommadiisa, Oo kuwa magiciisa jecelna way dhex degganaan doonaan.
36And the seed of his servants shall inherit it, and they that love his name shall dwell therein.
