1Goortuu buurta ka soo degay, dad badan baa soo raacay.
1When he came down from the mountain, great multitudes followed him.
2Oo bal eeg, waxaa u yimid nin baras leh oo caabuday, oo ku yidhi, Sayidow, haddaad doonaysid, waad i daahirin kartaa.
2Behold, a leper came to him and worshiped him, saying, “Lord, if you want to, you can make me clean.”
3Ciise intuu gacantiisa soo taagay, ayuu taabtay, oo ku yidhi, Waan doonayaa ee daahirsanow. Kolkiiba baraskiisa wuu ka daahirsanaaday,
3Jesus stretched out his hand, and touched him, saying, “I want to. Be made clean.” Immediately his leprosy was cleansed.
4oo Ciise ayaa ku yidhi, Iska eeg, oo ninna ha u sheegin, laakiin jidkaaga iska mar, oo wadaadka istus, oo bixi hadiyaddii Muuse amray, marag iyaga ha u ahaatee.
4Jesus said to him, “See that you tell nobody, but go, show yourself to the priest, and offer the gift that Moses commanded, as a testimony to them.”
5Goortuu Kafarna'um galay, waxaa u yimid boqol-u-taliye, isagoo baryaya
5When he came into Capernaum, a centurion came to him, asking him,
6oo leh, Sayidow, midiidinkaygii guriguu jiifaa, isagoo curyaannimo u buka oo aad u xanuunsanaya.
6and saying, “Lord, my servant lies in the house paralyzed, grievously tormented.”
7Kolkaasuu Ciise wuxuu ku yidhi, Waan imanayaa oo bogsiinayaa.
7Jesus said to him, “I will come and heal him.”
8Markaasaa boqol-u-taliyihii u jawaabay oo ku yidhi, Sayidow, anigu ma istaahilo inaad saqafka gurigayga hoostiisa soo gashid, laakiin hadal keliya dheh, midiidinkayguna waa bogsan doonaa.
8The centurion answered, “Lord, I’m not worthy for you to come under my roof. Just say the word, and my servant will be healed.
9Waayo, anigu waxaan ahay nin laga sarreeyo oo askar baa iga hoosaysa. Kan waxaan ku idhaahdaa, Tag, wuuna tagaa; mid kalena, Kaalay, wuuna yimaadaa; midiidinkaygana, Waxan samee, wuuna sameeyaa.
9For I am also a man under authority, having under myself soldiers. I tell this one, ‘Go,’ and he goes; and tell another, ‘Come,’ and he comes; and tell my servant, ‘Do this,’ and he does it.”
10Goortuu Ciise taas maqlay, wuu ka yaabay, wuxuuna ku yidhi kuwii la socday, Runtii waxaan idinku leeyahay, Rumaysad sidan u weyn oo kale reer binu Israa'iil kama dhex helin.
10When Jesus heard it, he marveled, and said to those who followed, “Most certainly I tell you, I haven’t found so great a faith, not even in Israel.
11Waxaan idinku leeyahay, Qaar badan ayaa bari iyo galbeed ka iman doona oo la fadhiisan doona Ibraahim iyo Isxaaq iyo Yacquub boqortooyadii jannada gudaheeda,
11 I tell you that many will come from the east and the west, and will sit down with Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob in the Kingdom of Heaven,
12laakiin wiilashii boqortooyada waxaa lagu tuuri doonaa gudcurka dibadda ah. Meeshaas waxaa jiri doonta baroor iyo ilkojirriqsi.
12 but the children of the Kingdom will be thrown out into the outer darkness. There will be weeping and gnashing of teeth.”
13Markaasaa Ciise wuxuu boqol-u-taliyihii ku yidhi, Tag. Sidaad u ramaysatay ha kuu noqoto e. Oo saacaddaas ayaa midiidinkii bogsaday.
13Jesus said to the centurion, “Go your way. Let it be done for you as you have believed.” His servant was healed in that hour.
14Ciise goortuu guriga Butros galay, wuxuu arkay Butros soddohdiis oo jiifta oo qandhaysan.
14When Jesus came into Peter’s house, he saw his wife’s mother lying sick with a fever.
15Markaasuu gacanteeda taabtay, qandhadiina waa ka baxday. Wayna kacday oo u adeegtay isaga.
15He touched her hand, and the fever left her. She got up and served him. TR reads “them” instead of “him”
16Goortii makhribkii la gaadhay waxay u keeneen qaar badan oo jinniyo qaba. Eray ayuu jinniyadii ku saaray, kuwii bukay oo dhanna wuu bogsiiyey,
16When evening came, they brought to him many possessed with demons. He cast out the spirits with a word, and healed all who were sick;
17si ay u noqoto wixii nebi Isayos lagaga dhex hadlay isagoo leh, Isagaa qaatay bukaankeennii, cudurradeenniina wuu isku raray.
17that it might be fulfilled which was spoken through Isaiah the prophet, saying: “He took our infirmities, and bore our diseases.” Isaiah 53:4
18Goortuu Ciise dad badan oo ku wareegsan arkay, ayuu amray inay dhinaca kale tagaan.
18Now when Jesus saw great multitudes around him, he gave the order to depart to the other side.
19Kolkaasaa culimmada midkood u yimid oo ku yidhi, Macallimow, waan ku raacayaa meeshaad tagtidba.
19A scribe came, and said to him, “Teacher, I will follow you wherever you go.”
20Ciise ayaa ku yidhi, Dawacooyinku godad bay leeyihiin, shimbirraha cirkuna buulal bay leeyihiin, laakiin Wiilka Aadanahu meel uu madaxiisa dhigo ma leh.
20Jesus said to him, “The foxes have holes, and the birds of the sky have nests, but the Son of Man has nowhere to lay his head.”
21Mid kale oo xertiisa ah ayaa ku yidhi, Sayidow, horta ii oggolow inaan tago oo aabbahay soo aaso.
21Another of his disciples said to him, “Lord, allow me first to go and bury my father.”
22Laakiin Ciise ayaa ku yidhi, I soo raac; oo iska daa meydadku ha aaseen meydadkooda.
22But Jesus said to him, “Follow me, and leave the dead to bury their own dead.”
23Goortuu doonnida fuulay, xertiisii ayaa raacday.
23When he got into a boat, his disciples followed him.
24Oo waxaa badda ka kacay duufaan weyn, ilaa ay hirarku qariyeen doonnida, laakiin isagu waa hurday.
24Behold, a violent storm came up on the sea, so much that the boat was covered with the waves, but he was asleep.
25Markaasaa xertiisii u timid oo toosisay, iyagoo leh, Sayidow, na badbaadi, waannu lumaynaaye.
25They came to him, and woke him up, saying, “Save us, Lord! We are dying!”
26Kolkaasuu wuxuu ku yidhi, Maxaad u baqaysaan, rumaysadyarayaalow? Markaasuu kacay, oo canaantay dabaysha iyo badda, oo xawaal weyn baa dhacday.
26He said to them, “Why are you fearful, O you of little faith?” Then he got up, rebuked the wind and the sea, and there was a great calm.
27Haddaba nimankii waa yaabeen, oo waxay isku yidhaahdeen, Waa nin caynkee ah kan xataa dabaysha iyo badduba yeelaan?
27The men marveled, saying, “What kind of man is this, that even the wind and the sea obey him?”
28Goortuu yimid dhinaca kale oo dalka Gadareni, waxaa la kulmay laba qof oo jinni qaba oo xabaalaha ka soo baxaya, iyagoo aad khatar u ah, si aan ninna jidkaas u mari karin.
28When he came to the other side, into the country of the Gergesenes, NU reads “Gadarenes” two people possessed by demons met him there, coming out of the tombs, exceedingly fierce, so that nobody could pass that way.
29Way qayliyeen iyagoo leh, Maxaa inoo dhexeeya, Wiilka Ilaahow? Ma waxaad halkan u timid inaad wakhtiga hortiis na silciso?
29Behold, they cried out, saying, “What do we have to do with you, Jesus, Son of God? Have you come here to torment us before the time?”
30Waxaa iyaga ka fogaa daaqsin doofaarro badan ah oo daaqaysa.
30Now there was a herd of many pigs feeding far away from them.
31Jinniyadii ayaa baryay iyagoo leh, Haddaad na saaraysid, noo dir daaqsinta doofaarrada ah,
31The demons begged him, saying, “If you cast us out, permit us to go away into the herd of pigs.”
32oo wuxuu ku yidhi, Baxa. Markaasay baxeen oo galeen doofaarradii, oo daaqsinta oo dhammu jarka hoos bay uga yaacday ilaa badda, oo biyaha ku bakhtiday.
32He said to them, “Go!” They came out, and went into the herd of pigs: and behold, the whole herd of pigs rushed down the cliff into the sea, and died in the water.
33Kolkaasay kuwii daajin jiray carareen oo magaalada galeen, wax walbana way u sheegeen iyo wixii ku dhacay kuwii jinniyada qabi jiray.Markaasaa magaaladii oo dhan lagaga soo baxay inay Ciise ka hor tagaan. Goortay arkeen, waxay ka baryeen inuu soohdintooda ka noqdo.
33Those who fed them fled, and went away into the city, and told everything, including what happened to those who were possessed with demons.
34Markaasaa magaaladii oo dhan lagaga soo baxay inay Ciise ka hor tagaan. Goortay arkeen, waxay ka baryeen inuu soohdintooda ka noqdo.
34Behold, all the city came out to meet Jesus. When they saw him, they begged that he would depart from their borders.
