4

1Haddaba maxaynu nidhaahnaa inuu helay Ibraahim oo awowgeennii hore ahaa xagga jidhka?
1What then will we say that Abraham, our forefather, has found according to the flesh?
2Waayo, haddii Ibraahim shuqullo xaq ku noqday, wax uu ku faano buu leeyahay ee Ilaah hortiisa ma aha.
2For if Abraham was justified by works, he has something to boast about, but not toward God.
3Maxaa Qorniinku leeyahay? Ibraahimna Ilaah buu rumaystay, oo waxaa isaga loogu tiriyey xaqnimo.
3For what does the Scripture say? “Abraham believed God, and it was accounted to him for righteousness.”
4Haddee kii shaqeeya abaalgudkiisa looguma tiriyo sida nimco laakiinse sida qaan oo kale.
4Now to him who works, the reward is not counted as grace, but as something owed.
5Laakiin kii aan shaqayn illowse rumaysta kan xaq ka dhiga kuwa aan cibaadada lahayn, rumaysadkiisa waxaa lagu tiriyaa xaqnimo.
5But to him who doesn’t work, but believes in him who justifies the ungodly, his faith is accounted for righteousness.
6Sida Daa'uudna uga sheegayo barakadii ninkii Ilaah xaq u tiriyo shuqullola'aantood, isagoo leh,1
6Even as David also pronounces blessing on the man to whom God counts righteousness apart from works,
7Waxaa barakaysan kuwa xadgudubyadooda la cafiyey,2 Oo dembiyadooda la daboolay.1
7“Blessed are they whose iniquities are forgiven, whose sins are covered.
8Waxaa barakaysan ninkii Rabbigu uusan dembi u tirinayn.
8Blessed is the man whom the Lord will by no means charge with sin.”
9Haddaba barakadan miyaa lagaga hadlay kuwa gudan oo keliya, mise kuwa buuryoqabka ahna waa lagaga hadlay? Waayo, waxaannu nidhaahnaa, Ibraahim rumaysadkiisii waxaa loogu tiriyey xaqnimo.
9Is this blessing then pronounced on the circumcised, or on the uncircumcised also? For we say that faith was accounted to Abraham for righteousness.
10Sidee baa haddaba loogu tiriyey? Ma markuu gudnaa, mise markuu buuryoqabka ahaa? Ma aha markuu gudnaa, laakiinse waa markuu buuryoqabka ahaa;
10How then was it counted? When he was in circumcision, or in uncircumcision? Not in circumcision, but in uncircumcision.
11oo wuxuu helay calaamada gudniinta, tan ahayd shaabaddii xaqnimada oo rumaysadkii uu haystay intuu buuryoqabka ahaa; inuu noqdo aabbihii inta rumaysata oo dhan in kastoo ay buuryoqab yihiin, in xaqnimo loo tiriyo iyaga,
11He received the sign of circumcision, a seal of the righteousness of the faith which he had while he was in uncircumcision, that he might be the father of all those who believe, though they might be in uncircumcision, that righteousness might also be accounted to them.
12iyo inuu aabbaha gudniinta u noqdo kuwa aan ahayn kuwa gudan oo keliya laakiinse kuwa ku socda tallaabooyinka rumaysadka ee Aabbeheen Ibraahim haystay intuu buuryoqabka ahaa.
12He is the father of circumcision to those who not only are of the circumcision, but who also walk in the steps of that faith of our father Abraham, which he had in uncircumcision.
13Waayo, ballankii lagula ballamay Ibraahim ama farcankiisii inuu ku noqdo kii dunida dhaxli lahaa, uguma iman sharciga, laakiinse wuxuu ugu yimid xaqnimada rumaysadka.
13For the promise to Abraham and to his seed that he should be heir of the world wasn’t through the law, but through the righteousness of faith.
14Waayo, haddii kuwa sharciga leh ay noqdaan kuwa dhaxalka leh, de markaas rumaysadkii waxaa laga dhigay wax aan waxtar lahayn, ballankiina waa la buriyey,
14For if those who are of the law are heirs, faith is made void, and the promise is made of no effect.
15maxaa yeelay, sharcigu wuxuu keenaa cadho, laakiinse meeshii aan sharci jirin xadgudubna ma jiro.
15For the law works wrath, for where there is no law, neither is there disobedience.
16Taas daraaddeed waa xagga rumaysadka inay noqoto xagga nimcada, in ballanku hubaal u ahaado farcanka oo dhan; ee uusan u ahayn kan sharciga leh oo keliya, laakiinse inuu u ahaado kan leh rumaysadkii Ibraahim, kan aabbaha inoo ah kulligeen,
16For this cause it is of faith, that it may be according to grace, to the end that the promise may be sure to all the seed, not to that only which is of the law, but to that also which is of the faith of Abraham, who is the father of us all.
17(sida qoran, Quruumo badan baan aabbe kaaga dhigay) Ilaaha uu rumaystay hortiisa, kan nooleeya kuwii dhintay oo u yeedha waxyaalaha aan jirin sida iyagoo jira.
17As it is written, “I have made you a father of many nations.” This is in the presence of him whom he believed: God, who gives life to the dead, and calls the things that are not, as though they were.
18Ibraahim rajuu wax ku rumaystay iyadoo aan rajo jirin inuu aabbe u noqdo quruumo badan, sida waxyaalihii lagula hadlay leeyihiin, Farcankaagu sidaasuu noqon doonaa.
18Who in hope believed against hope, to the end that he might become a father of many nations, according to that which had been spoken, “So will your seed be.”
19Isagoo aan rumaysadkii ku tabaryaraan wuxuu ka fikiray jidhkiisii sida meyd oo kale ahaa (isagoo boqol jir ku dhow) iyo meydnimadii maxalkii Saarah.
19Without being weakened in faith, he didn’t consider his own body, already having been worn out, (he being about a hundred years old), and the deadness of Sarah’s womb.
20Ballankii Ilaah rumaysaddarro kagama uu shakiyin, laakiinse rumaysad buu ku xoogaystay, isagoo Ilaah ammaanaya
20Yet, looking to the promise of God, he didn’t waver through unbelief, but grew strong through faith, giving glory to God,
21oo aad u huba in wixii uu u ballanqaaday uu samayn karo.
21and being fully assured that what he had promised, he was also able to perform.
22Sidaas daraaddeedna waxaa loogu tiriyey xaqnimo.
22Therefore it also was “reckoned to him for righteousness.”
23Wixii loo tiriyey looma qorin isaga aawadiis oo keliya,
23Now it was not written that it was accounted to him for his sake alone,
24laakiin waxaa loo qoray innaga aawadeenna. Waa loo tirin doonaa kuweenna rumaysan kii kuwii dhintay ka soo sara kiciyey Rabbigeenna Ciise, kii loo bixiyey xadgudubkeenna aawadiis oo loo sara kiciyey inuu xaq inaga dhigo.
24but for our sake also, to whom it will be accounted, who believe in him who raised Jesus, our Lord, from the dead,
25kii loo bixiyey xadgudubkeenna aawadiis oo loo sara kiciyey inuu xaq inaga dhigo.
25who was delivered up for our trespasses, and was raised for our justification.
