¹Ty të këlthas, o Zot, o kështjella ime; mos rri në heshtje, sepse po të mos flasësh ti, unë bëhem njëlloj si ata që zbresin në gropë.

¹[A Psalm] of David. Unto thee, O Jehovah, will I call: My rock, be not thou deaf unto me; Lest, if thou be silent unto me, I become like them that go down into the pit.

²Dëgjo zërin e lutjeve të mia kur të këlthas ty për ndihmë, kur ngre duart në drejtim të vendit tënd shumë të shenjtë.

²Hear the voice of my supplications, when I cry unto thee, When I lift up my hands toward thy holy oracle.

³Mos më tërhiq bashkë me të pabesët dhe ata që kryejnë paudhësi, të cilët flasin për paqe me të afërmit e tyre, por kanë shpirtligësi në zemër.

³Draw me not away with the wicked, And with the workers of iniquity; That speak peace with their neighbors, But mischief is in their hearts.

⁴Jepu atyre sipas veprave që kanë kryer dhe sipas ligësisë së veprimeve të tyre; jepu atyre sipas veprës së duarve të tyre; jepu atyre hakun që meritojnë.

⁴Give them according to their work, and according to the wickedness of their doings: Give them after the operation of their hands; Render to them their desert.

⁵Duke qenë se ata nuk i çmojnë veprat e Zotit dhe atë që duart e tij kanë bërë, ai do t'i mposhtë dhe nuk do t'i lërë të begatohen.

⁵Because they regard not the works of Jehovah, Nor the operation of his hands, He will break them down and not build them up.

⁶I bekuar qoftë Zoti, sepse ka dëgjuar zërin e lutjeve të mia.

⁶Blessed be Jehovah, Because he hath heard the voice of my supplications.

⁷Zoti është forca ime dhe mburoja ime; zemra ime ka pasur besim tek ai dhe unë u ndihmova; prandaj zemra ime ngazëllen dhe unë do ta kremtoj këtë me këngën time.

⁷Jehovah is my strength and my shield; My heart hath trusted in him, and I am helped: Therefore my heart greatly rejoiceth; And with my song will I praise him.

⁸Zoti është forca e popullit të tij, dhe streha e shpëtimit për të vajosurin e tij.

⁸Jehovah is their strength, And he is a stronghold of salvation to his anointed.

⁹Shpëto popullin tënd dhe beko trashëgiminë tënde; ushqeji dhe përkrahi përjetë.

⁹Save thy people, and bless thine inheritance: Be their shepherd also, and bear them up for ever.
