¹Кад Те зовем чуј ме, Боже, правдо моја! У тескоби дај ми простор; смилуј се на ме и услиши молитву моју.

¹Hear me when I call, O God of my righteousness: thou hast enlarged me when I was in distress; have mercy upon me, and hear my prayer.

²Синови човечији! Докле ће слава моја бити у срамоти? Докле ћете љубити ништавило и тражити лажи?

²O ye sons of men, how long will ye turn my glory into shame? how long will ye love vanity, and seek after leasing? Selah.

³Знајте да Господ дивно чува светог свог; Господ чује кад Га зовем.

³But know that the LORD hath set apart him that is godly for himself: the LORD will hear when I call unto him.

⁴Гневећи се не грешите; размислите у срцима својим на постељама својим, и утолите.

⁴Stand in awe, and sin not: commune with your own heart upon your bed, and be still. Selah.

⁵Принесите жртву за правду, и уздајте се у Господа.

⁵Offer the sacrifices of righteousness, and put your trust in the LORD.

⁶Многи говоре: Ко ће нам показати шта је добро? Обрати к нама, Господе, светло лице своје.

⁶There be many that say, Who will shew us any good? LORD, lift thou up the light of thy countenance upon us.

⁷А мени си дао у срце радост већу него што је они имају, кад им роди пшеница и вино.

⁷Thou hast put gladness in my heart, more than in the time that their corn and their wine increased.

⁸Ја мирно лежем и спавам; јер Ти, Господе, сам дајеш ми, те сам без страха.

⁸I will both lay me down in peace, and sleep: for thou, LORD, only makest me dwell in safety.
